Name: Minoas Stratis House and Year: Sixth Year Gryffindor Lesson Missed: 1, 2, 3 Lesson 1 Minoas was really looking forward to Charms this year and he made his way into the classroom in a good mood. His favorite professor was waiting for them already in the room and Minoas greeted him briefly before having a seat. He had an idea of what spells they were going to study for the sixth year. Next year's were going to be really awesome but this year's as well were interesting enough to make him return eagerly for another lesson. The Blasting Charm and the Disillusionment Charm where those he was anticipating to master but his feet were on the ground. He was aware that simple swish and flick charms were over and now they were going to walk on a rougher terrain. Soon the professor greeted the classroom full of sixth years. First classes were always brief and in case of Charms class, the spells they were going to learn for this year were going to be referenced. His grinn grew larger with each spell he was reading on the board. They were all useful and he could get ideas of them for his own ones. The professor warned them it would take a lot of skill to master and that much he did believe. A patronus charm for next year made him anticipate next year's classes even more. He couldn't help but wonder what would be the form of his patronus. Since he did not have any questions, he walked out of the classroom when he was allowed. Next week's class seemed to be so far away. Lesson 2 Dressed in his Gryffindor uniform he really couldn't get used to after six years at Hogwarts, Minoas skipped breakfast and headed to Charms classroom on the Third floor. He couldn't wait to see with which charm they were going to start. He had a seat and took out his wand, twirling it with his fingers as he waited for Professor Haden to begin the class. Once they started, Minoas didn't bother to raise his hand. He let someone else answer the question and get done with the talking. He wanted to use his wand and hoped there won't be any additional theory. He didn't write down notes as there was no point. He believed he already knew enough about the particular charm and what was left about it was to get able to cast successfully. He abandoned his seat when he was told so and positioned himself infront of his own dummy. He raised his wand and pictured ropes launching towards the dummy. "Incarcerous." Minoas watched as ropes materialized out of his wand and bound the dummy. They weren't really tight and soon slacken on the dummy's shoulders. He tried once more and this time the ropes zooming towards the dummy constricted it with force, also dropping it to the floor. Since there was still time until the end of the class, he kept casting the spell, covering the faller dummy under a net of ropes. Lesson 3 Minoas' anticipation prevented him from sleeping the previous night. He was suspecting that this time they were going to learn the Disillusionment Charm, a charm he wanted to learn since he was a first year. He was prepared to face some difficulty with this spell. It was widely used by his family on the creatures they were breeding and he could tell it needed some skill to be casted successfully. He got the nearest seat to the entrance of the room with his wand already in hand. The lesson started with Professor Haden asking what was the Disillusionment Charm. Minoas let the same Hufflepuff girl from last time answer the question. She was giving good answers and he no longer wanted to give extra house points to Gryffindor when he was disowned by the house. Minoas started liking Professor Haden even more when he allowed them to practise the spell outside the room. He waved his wand around his head and murmured the incantation. It took about three times to see his hands blending the the floor. Guessing he was camouflaged now, he picked up his bag and placed it over his shoulder before leaving the room. The astonished faces of younger students in the corridor, confirned that he was unseen and they could only witness his backpack moving in the air. He casted the spell an aditional couple of times to venture later in the forbidden forest. By mastering this charm, he no longer had to worry about Professor Kingsley finding him wandering around. |

Name: Cavani Laskaris House and Year: Hufflepuff, 5th Year Lesson Missed: 1 The teen was feeling pretty good about this upcoming term. She had taken a step back from most of her studies in the previous term, and was really hoping to win them back. She knew that she hadn't exactly been very good at keeping up, but the language barrier that had there during the first semester was not as clear in this one. She had spent a lot of time working on her english, and while at times it got pretty bad, and hard to understand her, it wasn't like most other times. She could get by. She picked it up almost as easily as she had picked up the French when going to Beauxbatons. Smiling to herself the girl woke up first thing in the morning and felt pretty ready. She got showered and dressed and then headed out the door. Heading straight to the charms classroom, which was her first and only class of the day. She arrived at the class and noticed that it was empty. It had barely a person in it. Which wasn't exactly a positive thing, but she took her seat anyway and just waited. As the rest of the class took their seats and the professor began his lesson. She wasn't expecting much really, just the usual. She kept her eyes on the board as the list of spells that they would be covering appeared. She took a note of them, and then listened as he continued, and a sheet of paper with the spells that she had previously learned appeared in front of her. She read it over, once, and then twice. Just sort of double check for any that she knew that weren't on the list. Noting that she should be sure she knew them, and could do all of them. With that the class was dismissed. The teen gathered her things and then left the room. Happy with how the lesson had gone. |

Name: Hades Styx II House and Year: Hufflepuf Seventh Year Lesson Missed: Four Hades Styx the Second walked into the Charms class once more, prepared for what they were going to be learning today which he was sure would be some pointless charm that he would end up hating more than ever. It was the fourth week of lessons, and they were getting closer and closer to exams, which did not bother Hades like it would bother other seventh years. Truth be told, he just wanted to get the hell out of the school, and live his life away from the idiots that resided there. He could name so many, he did not have enough hands to count them all. It was a real shame that they could not be pushed over the cliff. Apparently that would be immoral. He rolled his eyes at the thought and he continued to settle into his seat so that the professor would hurry it up. It was not too long now. The seventh years were greeted like usual, and then were told that they were going to be focusing on another spell. This was one was Deprimo and he could not remember it. He rolled his eyes once they were told that they were moving outside. Well that was perfect. He walked out of the room with the other seventh years that made him want to slam his head into the bricks a thousand times. There was not much he could think of when it came down to it. His eyes looked around and he saw that there were large blocks of wood. The spell could blasts a hole into the target object which made him smirk slightly. Now they were told to practice the spell. He aimed and attempted until there was a huge hole in his block. It took three tries at the very least. He shook his head and he left once they were dismissed. |

Name: Zayne Baros House and Year: Slytherin Seventh Year Lesson Missed: Four The fourth week of lessons. That just meant that they were going to be handling the NEWTs soon, and that made him really nervous. He was bothered about it, and he hoped that he would get past them. He was sure that he would pass since he only had three classes. It sort of made him look over the past few lessons. The seventh years had learned so much and then they were going to be graduating soon. That was what he really looked forward to. At least he was not going to be leaving Kaia since they were in the same year, and neither would be lonely. That was the best thing. Zayne settled down in the Charms classroom, looking forward to the rest of the lessons. He thought that he would get it done soon enough, and that the spell would be easy. Well, not too easy that is. The Slytherin looked up and thought that the lesson ahead would not be too painful since they were greeted and even asked how they were. However he doubted that they would be answering the question. Everyone was thinking the same thing, that the class needed to hurry so that they could get back to studying on the NEWTs. Well, that was what he was thinking, he was not sure about everyone else. They were heading outside today which made him smile as he recalled the reading about Deprimo. Once they were down at the lawns, he noticed that there was large blocks of wood. They would have to practice with that. Zayne sighed and he went over to the block of wood. He attempted it and got it on his first try, and managed to blast a small hole. Zayne continued until he finally got one managed into the block. He smiled as he left the lawns. |
