"Hello everyone!" Ava greeted her students with a smile "Today, I would like you to try it out inanimate to animate transfiguration for yourselves. Wands out!" Professor Davershire said as she waved her wand at a table she had placed in the front of the room. Immediately, it filled with numerous decorative, porcelain teapots of all shapes and sizes. "That was a conjuring spell. You won't learn it until at least 6th year." She said, picking up a teapot. "You will each turn one of these decorative teapots into a tortoise. I want you all to be very careful when performing this spell. I will be taking points off of your grade if the tortoise breathes steam or has ceramic tiles on its shell." Professor Davershire placed the gold teapot back onto the table and aimed her wand at it. "Torte!" The teapot made a "poof" noise and turned into a similar-looking tortoise. "Come one by one and take a teapot. Let's give this a try." After everyone had got a teapot, she added, "When class ends, please bring your tortoise up to the front of the classroom for grading. Have fun, and don't forget to ask for help if you need it!" Homework: You know the drill. RP the lesson. RP Ava if needed. |
