Lesson 4
Professor Snow regarded the Sixth Year students as they all started to pile into the classroom slowly, as much as she didn’t want class today herself she couldn’t change that and had to attempt to teach he students something. ”Hello everyone.” She started tiredly as she stood from her desk and stopped in front of it, it was a bit obvious that she was not at her best but she prayed they would ignore that and just pay attention as she went over what they would be doing today. ”Today we will extend your understanding of the Personal Year and the insight gained with the conclusion of each nine year cycle of experience. Now, we will begin your study of the Pinnacles.” A small smile crept onto Professor Snow’s face once that was said, she just loved teaching about pinnacles. By this point she had also stopped standing in front of her desk to pace around a little, it helped her think.

”You are currently midway through the First Pinnacle, generally the longest and of the four that will constitute your life. We find that the energy present in the First Pinnacle develops your character, it is there for very personal reasons. This is a time when we develop our egos and define our sense of self. You might call this the springtime of life. In latter years we often hold onto the beliefs created during this time period.“ Professor Snow made sure to speak slowly in case anyone wanted to write this down or ask questions. When she was fully finished with explaining she pulled out her wand and pointed it at the board, where some text began to appear. It was notes explaining how one would find their First Pinnacle.

Notes

The First Pinnacle equals the sum of the digits of the month and day of your birth.

Example:
Birthdate of January 29th, 1998

Reduce accordingly until you have a single-digit number.

1 + 29 = 30
3 + 0= 3

This individual has a First Pinnacle of Three!
3 Pinnacle:

A delightful Pinnacle to pursue creative directions filled with inspiration and expression. This Pinnacle is one of the easiest Pinnacles because it isn't as physically demanding as many of the others. Enjoyment is a focus as well as pleasure. Joy is prevalent. For a First Pinnacle, it can lead to scattered energies, vacillation, and exaggeration until the individual develops greater self-definition and learns how to channel their abilities. A parent can support a child by encouraging expression and creativity. This helps build confidence and encourages direction. As a latter Pinnacle, you might be delighted to know that hard work is not the focus. Usually this Pinnacle attracts money to support the inspirational directions that are possible while its influence is present.
Once all the notes were on the board she looked at all the students carefully, hoping that they would either copy this down because it would probably be brought up for later. ”Please refer to your textbook for the information that corresponds with your result. For homework Calculate your First Pinnacle. You are dismissed.” Professor added in finally, good thing class was almost over as well because she was getting more tired as the day went on.

Homework:
1) Roleplay the lesson
2) Calculate your First Pinnacle and provide a brief comment on the result

Isabella Romanes entered the Arithmancy classroom where she noticed Professor Snow was already in the classroom too. There was no one else. That's good. She liked having the class to herself for a little while. Professor Snow was one of her favorite professors considering that Isabella had two. Professor Snow and Professor Kingsley. It was an odd combination for a Slytherin Prefect. However this one had no issues at all. She looked up at Professor Snow as she greeted everyone and she frowned slightly. Professor Snow was tired? Isabella wondered what was going on, but she didn't want to ask in the middle of a lesson. She got out some parchment and ink so that she would take some notes. Such as today, they were going to be studying the art of Pinnacles, and immediately, Isabella wondered on what was that. Of course, Isabella knew that Professor Snow would explain everything.

The Prefect went on and scratched the parchment as she started to write what the Pinnacles were, and that the first one was generally the longest of the four. Her magenta eyes looked up as she wrote down the way to constitute the First Pinnacle. It was the sum of the digits of the month and day of her birthday. Isabella knew that she would have to simplify everything, and she smirked slightly. This ought to be easy, and she was dying to know what number she had and what she wanted. She looked over the numbers, and she thought about the one that she was best suited with. She loved the number one, but she doubted that she would get that number. She wrote down the homework, and she packed her stuff and left on dismissal. Isabella walked herself over to the library so that she could get to work on the homework.

This one also seems to define me, though I was leaning forward to number one, but this one works too.

Nadia entered the Arithmancy classroom and smiled slightly. She was begining to really feel good this year, even though it felt like it had taken forever, but finally she was confident that this was a good year. Nadia couldn't kick the feeling that everything was going to be alright, and though this wasn't exactly a bad way of seeing things, she felt that she should be worrying a little bit, even if everything seemed just fine. Taking her seat and unpacking for the lesson, she smiled at Professor Snow, who seemed to be a little under-the-weather, she sounded a little tired. Nadia nodded to herself and listened carefully, she dind't want to put any added pressure on the kind Professor, because that wouldn't be very fair on anyone, especially Professor Snow. The Ravenclaw took out some parchment and ink and get ready to take down some notes if need be, tilting her head to the side, she couldn't help but smile at what they would be learning about now, the Personal Year. Though she wasn't exactly sure what the study of the Pinnacles would involve, or what they very to be exact, but Professor Snow would probably explain everything, even if she's not at her best this lesson.

Nadia nodded as Professor Snow spoke about the Pinnacles in more detail, starting with the first Pinnacle, and how its energy develops character, and when you define your sense of self. It sounded pretty interesting, which was one of the main reasons why Nadia decided to take Arithmancy in the first place, she was interested about this stuff and she never really found it boring at all. Nadia listened carefully to the rest of the lecture, nodding as she understood what was being said and smiling with excitement, this sounded like it would be entertaining. Nadia looked at the board as writing began to appear and read them and wrote them down. The homework barely sounded like homework at all, because she was sure she'd have a blast. Packing up her things and smiling at the Professor, the Ravenclaw left the classroom upon dismissal.

October 10th
10+10 = 20
2+0 = 2

2 Pinnacle:

During a Two Pinnacle mediation, diplomacy, and sensitivity are present. Working as a team member and cultivating balanced relationships is important. It is not a period for independence. It cultivates the ability to get along with others using the energies present within a 2 vibration. As a First Pinnacle, a child may seem oversensitive and lacking in confidence. A parent can assist the child by working with them to build confidence and by helping them to develop their talents and abilities. As a Fourth Pinnacle, quiet pursuits and pleasant surroundings are possible. In addition, there are opportunities that include cultural and public considerations.

I find this reading rather interesting as it does apply to me in some areas, in quite a few actually and I think it could apply to me very well.
