The classroom was divided in half, as it would be for the rest of the school year. Desks were on one side, an open space with a sole table was on the other. NEWTs were closing in, and Professor Black wanted to make sure that her students were ready to go. She sat atop her desk, a stack of paper next to her on the wood. It would be an easy week for her, but not really for her students. She watched as they entered, waiting until they were all there before jumping down and addressing the class.

"Your NEWT exams are looming closer every day. From this week until the end of the term, we will be focusing on getting you ready to sit those exams. We are going to do a review worksheet every week, refreshing your brains on the theories and spells we have covered over the last seven years." She began to hand out the worksheet to the students. "Complete the sheets and turn them in before you go. If you wish to practice any of the spells in a practical format, you may do so over there." She motioned to the single table. "Please turn in the review before you would work on anything practical. Good luck!"

Moving back to her desk, she sat down on top and waited for anyone to need her.

Briar headed to the transfiguration class she had enjoyed the previous class giving herself odd ears. she even used it in the potions class which was fun and well worth the trouble. she sat in the classroom and saw that it was set out like a normal room her heart dropped a little. she took a seat and listened to the professor. talk about exams and zoned out slightly. however when parchment started handing its self out she frowned. she hated theory. she looked through and answered what she could. she decided to just write the incantation in order to save time, though she would have preferred to do them practically.

Review Questions:

1. What are the seven types of Transfiguration? summoning, banishing, animating, switching, human transformation, untransfiguration.
2. Name the five areas of Transfiguration that are heavily regulated. human transformation, food creation.
3. What is the spell that changes a spoon to a quill and back again? Scriopea
4. What spell turns a match to a needle? Flammeus Tailora
5. How would you turn a book into a jewelry box? Gemelitiar
6. What are your views on Transfiguration as punishment? What are the Ministry's views? What has replaced this practice? I dont find the idea of human transfiguration as punishment as being too bad so long as it isn't permanent and not for all the time (for example only so many hours a day) However he ministry doesn't agree and has removed transfiguration as transfiguration is seen as a cruel and outdated practice. instead Trial and imprisonment by dementaurs are used.
7. How would you turn a beetle into a button and back? Praepilatus
8. What spell would you use to turn an animal into a statue? Statuap
9. What spell turns a tortoise into a teapot? Torte
10. What spell gives life to a inanimate statue, like a chess piece? Animare

as soon as they were done she handed the parchment in and left the room and headed to get food before going to the sixth floor for a patrol.
