Takuya paced the Greenhouse patiently for the students to arrive. He noticed a few students coming in a tad bit late. He leaned against the desk with his Mandrake in front of him. He smiled, “Hello class. Settle down and we’ll check on our Mandrakes.” He waved his wand and the doors shut. He started, “Retrieve your journal and writing utensils.” After his eyes saw every quill, ink, and journal out, he continued, “Your Mandrake is in their shortest stage, Childhood. They tend to giggle more and play games in this stage. They require greater amounts of water, food, and a bit more sun. Now, look at the leaves. They are becoming more flamboyant in not only color, but texture. They now have more of a velvety texture. Be sure to touch them gently if you wish.” Takuya’s fingers softly traced the leaves of Luther. The Mandrake giggled, as expected. “Go on and give them water and food. Remember what I said about pushing the food so they can reach it. And lastly, the sunlight. I have already feed and watered mine.” He set Luther in a nice beam of sunlight. Homework: RP today’s lesson, record your Mandrakes progression. I want you to think of a game to play with your Mandrake. It can be anything, as long as it doesn’t harm another student or the Mandrake itself. Be sure to act it out as well. |
