Lesson Two:

[justify]     Professor Effie Snow stood in front of her polished Oak desk fiddling with the a strange magical artifact that she had come across the other day while shopping. It looked really interesting inside the shop but now she couldn't really understand why she bought it. She wasn't even sure what it did! With a soft sigh she set the artifact down and started to mull over today's lesson. Easily she realized that the first lesson of the year had been rather lengthy, theoretical in nature, and perhaps, even a little on the boring side. Math and numbers had a tendency to be boring at times and even Effie could admit that and she loved numbers! Today's lesson was going to hopefully be a lot less boring, however. Today’s lesson would be much like the study of Arithmancy itself, all about reestablishing balance. Professor Snow stood and paced back and forth a couple of times, she hated making those poor kids suffer with long and boring lectures. But it was what she needed to teach them and that was something that was out of her control. The poor dears. Hopefully they wouldn't take it too personally or anything, if Effie could make Arithmancy more interesting for them she surely would. Not everyone appreciated this subject as much as Effie did. As the class entered the classroom she greeted them all with a sweethearted smile. Hopefully they cam here ready to learn though. "Welcome back Fourth years! It should be apparent that the Expression is concerned with both opportunity and purpose. Today, you will the opportunity to determine your Expression Number using your full given name. The purpose is to gain insight into yourself and your Divine Promise." Professor Snow stated simply as she waited for a moment and allowed it to sink in. This lesson was going to be a bit shorter so she had the ability to take her time. Effie hated being rushed anyways. Grinning softly she began to speak again.

"I'd like you all to try the calculations required carefully, copy out the description of your Expression Number from the textbook, and finally, offer a short comment on the result." After giving the class some time to do their calculations while walked around and offered aid, Effie turned her different colored eyes to the clock and frowned. Wow she must have been talking longer than she thought she was. Class was nearly over! Oh poo, looks like we're out of time pretty much. Class dismissed guys. " Professor Effie Snow added with a another smile and a way of her hand before she made sure the chalk writing on the board instructing the class on how to do their lesson.

Hazel Maye entered the Arithmancy classroom again looking determaned to learn but with a soft smile on her face. She had just been given the news that her Grandmother had forwarded her the title of Elder. She was the youngest person from the Cheyenne people to have been given this title. It meant that they trusted her skills and leadership. She had knowen before that she did but to be reconized for it was something else all together. Hazel Maye took her usual seat and took out her quill ready to take notes as extensive as the ones that they had to take the last class but they didn't need to.

Hazel Maye was a bit relieved but they still had to do some calculations which as it turned out she wasn't that good at. She didn't mind that though. She would get them perfect this time. She wrote down the notes that where nessecery for the class then wrote down the homework before class was dismissed. She went out to a her favorate spot in the garden next to her Venimus Tentacula and started to do carful calculations on each of her names.

EXPRESSION NUMBER : 4
You are the brick and mortar of any enterprise. You are an organis
er and administrator.Your approach to life and to problems is methodical and systematic. You are the catalyst which turns dreams into reality. You have a highly developed sense of structure. As a result, you are reliable and responsible.

You have a tendency to become too narrowly focused. You put your nose to the grindstone and have a propensity to be a workaholic. You are driven by a contempt for all that is unstable, insecure, and unpredictable. This can hamper your progress and cause you much frustration, shutting you out from possible shortcuts and creative solutions.

In relationships, you tend to be somewhat moralistic. You are extremely honest and sincere. You have integrity and trustworthiness. You are a remarkably good parent, and love to be involved with children. You are very conscious of the balance between income and expenditures. You can limit your expenditures; saving money is important to you.

Many accountants, bookkeepers, government officials, managers, and lawyers are born under the 4 Expression. You have great stamina and can work conscientiously and persistently toward your goals. This eventually brings you success and standing in your community. However you need to learn to take certain things lightly. Classical music and opera are particularly appealing and inspiring for you.

You should endeavour to carry out your plans and aims on all days that fall under your own numbers, such as the 4th,13th,or 22nd of any month.
Your lucky colours are half - shades of grey, blue.

I find that some of what this says could be applied to me on the whole. I found this to be a very curious reading. I know (or have discovered) my sincerety and tendency to be a workaholic. It's right in saying that I can be alittle moralistic and that money is important to me, though not in the usual way. Overall I think this is relatively intriguing and true to me.
