Lesson 1 Professor Snow sat properly behind her large desk, organizing a few of her graded papers and lesson plans so they would be neat and easily findable for her when she needed them later. Perhaps she was a bit too picky on this, but she liked to have everything completely organized and in a place where she could easily locate them when she really needed to find them. Today Sixth Years were starting their lessons with her and she could say she was honestly curious to see how they did at Arithmancy, after all they were extremely close to ending their time here at Hogwarts. In fact before they knew it they would be taking their NEWT’s and heading up to that podium to get their Diploma’s. When the first student had arrived into the classroom, Professor Snow smiled softly at the student before she quickly set the papers down and stood up from her desk, class would be starting within moments anyways. She stood in front of her desk elegantly, as she watched the class arrive one by one. Her different colored eyes regarded them all softly, Eddie was usually a gentle person unless she had to be pushed to be stern with someone and these students were no exceptions. As long as they behaved themselves and tried their best to learn then she would be a much nicer person. ”Welcome to your Sixth Year of Arithmancy. I’m Professor Effie Snow.” She started gently, nearly hating how soft her voice sounded even when she was trying to sound like she wasn’t a pushover, she could only hope the students got the picture thought that she wasn’t playing around. Effie stepped away from her desk so she could be seen and heard more easily. ”This year we will be going over things like; The Personal Year, The Pinnacles, The Life Path Periods, and much more.” Effie knew that a few of them might have absolutely no clue what she was talking about and that was the reaction she was looking for from the kids. It was always more fun for her when she got to teach them from scratch because she got to see them grow from it later. By the time she had finished her discussion it was unfortunately time for her to release them already, no bother though because they would be back next week for another lesson. ”No Homework. Class dismissed.” She said dryly before she waved them all off, only next week would tell if they truly had what it took to master Arithmancy. Homework: 1. Roleplay the Lesson |

Nadia looked at her schedule and nodded slightly as she saw the words Arithmancy written across it. Her sixth year was one that she never thought she would see. There ws a time, in the not to distant past, when she could barely get out of bed due to her innate depression and lack of will to continue with her education. All throughout that year she was sure she was never going to see the next day, let alone the next three years. But she was definaely glad she had made it this far and of course made it a desperate rush to get all her grades up in the wake of her OWLs, passing those she realised that maybe things weren't so bad afterall. Then there was the Graduation last year, where her friend and closeas brother graduated. She had been alittle sad, but now he was a Hogwarts Caretaker, so she saw him all the time. Though she had yet to sit down and actually have a chat to him. She sighed and went on her way to the Sixth floor. Arithmancy was a class that always did confuse her, but she needed it to become a journalist. She entered the class and sat towards the front in order to not have to look at the other students in the class. She had a thing for not sitting in the back. She looked over her notes from previous years as she listened to the Professor. Nadia had gotten to know her voice and the way she explained things over the years and so she was able to accurately pull out the information in Professor Snow's words that were needed. However, that was not neccessary in this instance as it seemed that they were not doing anything for this class. Nadia looked up at the Professor just to make sure before packing up her things and heading to the library to look over her previous lessons. She needed all the helo she could get for this confusing class. |

It was that time of year again, where Isabella Romanes learned more about Arithmancy. It was quickly one of her favorite subjects. She looked around with her magenta eyes, and she wondered why there was some other girl in here. Isabella didn't know her, but she didn't really mind. She took her seat, and looked up at Professor Snow. The professor looked rather pretty, but that was nothing too surprising. Next year was their last year, and Isabella was distraught with having to leave certain subjects behind. It was not that fair. Isabella would get over it by then. Just have to live day by day. Isabella just wanted to be able to learn what she could in Arithmancy. Isabella waited patiently for the class to begin, which was what was needed right now to take her mind off of many things. Isabella watched as Professor Snow stood up, and she even walked like an elegance person. It was just envious. They were soon greeted warmly by Professor Snow, and Isabella looked up so make sure that she was paying as much attention as she could. Professor Snow sounded soft, gentle, but every Head of House had a lot of power. She could easily use it to punish other Hufflepuffs that were in trouble, if that would ever happen that is. They were told that they were going to be learning the Personal Year, the Pinnacles, the Life Path Periods and many other things. She took notes to read up on that. The sixth years in the classroom were told that they did not have any homework at not. It was then time for dismissal. Isabella packed her things and she left the Arithmancy classroom. She was glad that she had attended, and she adored the classroom. Isabella looked forward to the rest of lessons in Arithmancy. |

Arithmancy. A class that for years Koboshi had neglected to take. She shook her head. It was definitely unbecoming behaviour for an Asian girl who is supposed to become head of the household at some point. Giggling slightly at the awkwardness of the situation, Koshi walked into Professor Snow's classroom and sat at the desk next to Nadia. The two were close friends and so she knew that Nadia would not judge her, hopefully and that it would be best if she could maybe look over Nadia's notes for the class. She didn't want to have to go over every little detail in the textbook just to work out exactly what it was that Professor Snow was saying, because that would be both annoying and cynical. Though she had to admit that it would be rather annoying to be stuck in this class without any knowledge of what was going to happen, so maybe reading over her textbook later today would benefit rather than hurt. Koshi nodded along trying to understand what it was that Professor Snow had just said. She bit her lip and sighed when she realised her problem before packing up and moving to exit the classroom. She was going to follow Nadia to wherever she was going at this time. |
