Drew Handler Hufflepuff Fourth year, lesson one.
- Lesson
-
Drew Hanson entered the Transfiguration classroom and thought that the things could not be much better this year because of the fact that he was finally, after so many years, getting along with his brother, who finally seemed to accept him. Drew had been worried over the outcome of that relationship but now it was was all fixed. Drew pushed his thoughts out of his mind as he sat down in class to get his mind from the family issues and straight into the homework assignments. He was very excited for this class as it was his favourite and always had been. Drew moved his blue eyes to the front of the classroom and he let out a subtle sigh. His eyes went to Professor Davershire, pretty much the only Professor whose name he could remember and smiled. This year they were going to be going over switching spells which he thought would not be too bad anyway. They sounded like everything in a prank shop. They used a lot of spells like that, right? The Hufflepuff listened to what the blonde Slytherin said, as she answered the question and copied down notes. He desperately wanted Hufflepuff to win the house cup one year. Ravenclaw seems to be taking it for a while now. Drew wanted more and more to win the cup for his house with each year he had attended Hogwarts New Zealand. Ever since his first year, he had been watching the other houses win the House cup, even though in his first year, he didn't know much about it. Drew looked over the assignment that they were supposed to do, and he wrote it down and then left the classroom to do the homework.

Drew Handler Fourth Year Hufflepuff Transfiguration Lesson One
Switching spells are a spell used to switch one thing into something else, though apart from what you've told us, I don't know much else.

Name: Anecmanus Dumont House: Slytherin Lesson: One
Today was the first lesson of Transfiguration for Anecmanus, and he knew that the class would probably annoy him. It would probably be one of those subjects that would force the class into groups and it would mean that he would have to work with someone else and that just would get annoying for him. He hated being forced into a group, because it was still just a bunch of people trying to take control of what he did, and how he did the things that he was asked to do or had to do for the lesson. He got out his quill, parchment, and ink, and began to take down some notes for the lesson. Transfiguration was actually pretty interesting, and the branches of magic were all different with all of their own laws and the likes. He thought about what he'd read recently, about people becoming 'Animagus', which meant that they were able to change into animals at will. He knew that you had to be extremely gifted at Transfiguration to master the change, but maybe it would be something worth looking in to? He left the class when it was over, and headed off to the library to quickly look something up.- Notes

Camille Jones Gryffindor Fourth Years Lessons 1 & 2.
- Lesson One
-
Camille Jones walked into Transfiguration. She'd kept on all the subjects neccesary to be successful in any job. She thought she could do it, and she'd try her hardest to make it. All jobs were important, and she wanted to make a difference. Cam smiled at the familar face of Professor Davershire. It was good to see a familiar face. This was the only teacher so far that hadn't changed. Herbology had a new teacher, and Professor Styx was now teaching DADA, it was very confusing. Now Potions apparently had a new Professor too. She took a seat near the front, watching, unimpressed as words flicked onto the board. When she was younger, this would have set her off beaming, but by now she had gotten used to it, it was commonplace. Still, she could recognise the skill, and the writing even looked like Professor Davershire's own. She raised her hand at the quesiton. But another answered. Oh well.
Another student asked what imbued meant and then the lesson continued. She watched, focused as it was explained what their assignment was. She took out her quill and parchment and began to write....
...Once she was finished and satisfied with her answer, Camille took her sheet of parchment and handed it up at the desk she smiled at the Professor and sailed out of the classroom, after all it meant she had no homework tonight, which was always a good thing. Though she supposed she would have to study....- Homework

Camille Jones Gryffindor, Fourth Year Transfiguration Lesson One Switching greatly resembles general Transformation, but with with the two main differences: firstly, the features of the two targets are switched simultaneously; secondly, the change in one of the pair is dependent on a change in the other. They are often used for trickery and prank shops use them for their products.
- Lesson Two
-
Camille Jones walked to class quickly. She was a little bit late, and most of the seats had already been taken. She took a seat in the third row, and looked up at the professor. She laughed as she saw the biscuit on the Professors desk. It was a canary cream. She'd seen students turned into birds before, and had eaten one herself, though she hadn't really liked the sensation. She wasn't really the bird type. She noticed the other students in the class and nodded curtly to them. Everyone looked so eager. Yes indeed, she was glad to be back.
When Professor Davershire, asked for a volunteer, she was excited. She was just raising her hand when a boy reached the front of the class. She smiled to herself, laughing out loud as he transformed. It looked ridiculous. The boy seemed in a better mood after the transformation too, it was probably better that he'd been chosen. She gathered all her books at the end of the lesson and headed out of the room, thanking Professor Davershire as she left.

Hariah Meadow Gryffindor Second Year lessons 1, 2 and 3.
Lesson One. Hariah skipped into the Transfiguration classroom, it was the first lesson of the year and she was excited. Last year, Hariah didn't really enjoy Transfiguration but she hoped this year was different, she was willing to give it a try. She took a seat near the front of the class and waited for the Professor to start the lesson.
Hariah's eyes concentrated on the wand movements the Professor was performing and she tried her best to replicate it with the rest of the class. She was surprised at the complexities of animate to animate transfiguration that the Professor explained, she couldn't wait to start it. Her eyes widened when the professor mentioned that they used Transfiguration as a punishment years ago, it was quite unbelievable now.
With her things packed away, Hariah walked out of the classroom thinking about the essay question the Professor posed, it was an interesting debate.
- Homework
-
In your opinion, does transfiguration make a good punishment? Why or why not? I do not think that Transfiguration is a good punishment. I think it is a barbaric way of punishing a dark wizard. Some may argue that the dark Wizards and Witches themselves had done terrible things and consequently deserve a terrible punishment. That may be true, but, isn't Azkaban punishment enough? It is a dreadfully dull and sorrowful place that just being there would be a terrible punishment, there would be no need for extra reinforcement. Surely transforming a wizard into a statue is morally wrong and can have ethical implications? How can you be sure that an extended inanimate state will be a sufficient punishment? Obviously it would prevent them from being able to move and speak etc... But it doesn't remove their 'dark' thoughts and feelings whereas an extended stay in Azkaban might. There is evidence of some Wizards in Azkaban going mad, isn't that a good punishment in itself?
Lesson Two. Taking the same seat as she had the previous lesson Hariah sat down and waited for the lesson to start. it would be interesting to see if they did any practical things this lesson. The theory was all well and good but there was nothing like performing a spell. Hariah's nose wrinkled when the Professor announced that they would be turning beetles into buttons. Beetles were not Hariah's first choice of insect, in fact, they rather scared her. She was sure she'd like them better when they resembled buttons.
The professor handed Hariah the jar of beetles. There seemed to be hundreds in the jar, all different colours and sizes. It made Hariah feel a bit anxious so she quickly picked one from the top and passed the jar on. It was hard to concentrate on what the Professor was saying when there was a small beetle walking round the desk in front of her. She just about caught the incantation for the spell: Praepilatus. Easy enough Hariah thought to herself unconvincingly.
Hariah visualised a button an emerald green colour, the same colour of the beetle. It was easy to imagine the Beetle changing into a button, the quicker it changed the happier Hariah would be. She tapped the beetle with her wand three times and then swished while saying "Praepilatus". At first nothing happened at all to the beetle. Frowning, Hariah looked around the room and it looked like everyone else was having the same luck as herself. She tried again and this time the beetle had transformed into a button. Wonderful! She thought to herself. It looked much less menacing now it was a button. Hariah picked up the beetle/button and dropped it onto the Professor's desk among many other buttons of all colours. She imagined how horrific it would be if the whole pile was just beetles scuttling around. It turned her stomach, and with that she quickly walked out of the room.
Lesson Three. Hariah cautiously entered the Transfiguration classroom, her last lesson was horrible. Turning beetles into buttons? Who thinks of things like that? This time she took a seat near the back of the classroom, she didn't want to risk anything. At the beginning of the lesson the Professor showed them their beetles from last lesson, unfortunately they had gone back to their original state.
Today, however, they would be transforming an animal less, scary. Hariah could deal with a chipmunk she found them to be rather cute. She was concerned for their well being though. Even though the Professor assured them that the chipmunk's were looked after probably, she wondered was it really worth it? She imagined that it couldn't be a terribly good existence. Nevertheless, she was happy it wasn't insects this time.
A chipmunk was placed on her desk and Hariah smiled at it. It was quite sad that in a few minutes it would be turned into a statue. Sighing, Hariah got out her wand tapped the chipmunk three times, swished her wand and said "statua." She had to perform this incantation a few times before the chipmunk changed into a stone statue.

Liir Goodwitch Slytherin, First Year Lessons 1-3
Lesson 1
Liir was in a sour mood since he heard that for one of his most fascinating classes of the semester he and his fellow slytherin would be sharing a class with Hufflepuff house which was something he was not looking forward to at any lengths. He found Hufflepuffs to be airy over energetic simpletons with nothing more to offer the wizarding community than something to laugh at when moods were somber. He did not know anyone of worth coming from the house besides the founder who also seemed to have been to soft for her own good. However thier was nothing that he could do to change the situation and so he simply accepted it for what it was and decided that he would simply grit through the best he could. So after charms let out for the day he made his way to transfiguration as several of his fellow snakes followed behind voicing thier own dieslike for the puffs that they would have to be in the same room with for the duration of the lesson.
The small group made it to class a little early where the pooled int he back of the class with Liir sitting in the furthest seat from the front as he found that he enjoyed not being the center of attention and hated being watched like a toddler. The boys and girls around him hooted and hollared as they cared own casuing him to smirk from time to time but he did not feeling like joining in so he listened half heartily until class started. He had to smack one of the boys to get him to quiet up which he did with a sheepish smile before focusing on the teacher. The woman seemed to be a cheery soul which was always something that made him frown but something that he found was a growing them for most of the school. It was not that Liir was incapable of smiling he simply found the cheerness to be a distraction and a waste of energy and so he was reserved and broodish for the most part which people either accepted or hated either way it was his nature and it would not change unless he wanted it to which he did not think he would ever feel that way. The basic first day speech was delievered but it was not without good news as the professor informed the class that she expected them to bring thier wands as the class was more hands on which he was excited about given that he did not want to spend all his time writing notes that were located in his book. Not to mention he came from a magical family and so transfiguration was not some unheard of thing like it was for some who had not been raised around magic.
He did humor the professor and jotted down some notes as she performed each feat of magic which he had seen before but clapped anyway given that he did not want to seem overly rude. As the class concluded he finished his homework and with his group of lackeys he made his way to his next lesson.
Lesson 2
Liir was more than pleased that the first week of lessons were now over given that it had been the longest week of his natural life. Most of the professor had insisted on doing nothing more than orientations and introduction which would be fine if he was a muggle born but since he came from a long line of magical individuals he found the whole ordeal as a waste of his time and attention but faithful to his goals he paid the utte most attention and did as he was told. However with the start of a new week it seemed that the professors were now ready to get into the core principals of their classes much to his pleasure and excitement.
Transfiguration was a practical class but was one that had more rules than any other form of magic which he both understood and disagreed with given that some forms of transfigurations should be less gaurded but that was his opinon. Todays lesson was a simple one and that open up the door to further discussion on the ministries bans and rules on transfiguration. However it seemed that time was the enemy and before they could get into further discussion the lesson was up and so Liir pulled out his parchement and quickly filled out his homework assignment before heading off to his next lesson.

Liir Goodwitch Slytherin, First Year Lesson 2
1. Changing the color of a tie to fit the needs of an occasion 2. Turning a pencil into a quill to sign a document 3. To changes one's appearance in case of an emergency, such as eye color or hair color 4. To hide something in such a way that others would not notice it, such as turning a important document into a picture or something equally less interesting 5. To gain the upper hand , such as an animagus turning into a bird to scope out a location
Lesson 3
Liir third week was much better that the previous weeks since he was not familiar with several of his peers not to mentions lessons were far more interesting as each week passed and so he felt more challenged then he did when he first arrived at the famed school of magic. With his mood high he made his way into class only to have his mood deflated as someone let a stray into the classroom much to horror. He looked around the room for the professor and found that she had not shown up to class yet he simply sneered and avoided the mutt as he made his way to his seat pulling out his wand just in case. When class started the dog shifted into the professor much to the intrest and applaud of those who witness the extrodinary feat of magic and he was among them. No one in his family knew the more advance forms of trasfiguration and so he had never witness such a feat until now as his mind ran rapid with ideas.
He was not worried that he would not be capable of becoming an animagus but he was not thrilled with an ever watchful ministry that threaten to haul off anyone who over stepped the bounds of magic. If he did become the minister of magic their would be a world of change that he would usher in with the help of those around him who shared in his image of a new world order. As notes appeared on the board he jotted them down as he saw fit before finishing his homework and heading off to his next class.

Liir Goodwitch Slytherin, First Year Lesson 3
More or less limitation
I do not like the idea of a ministry putting such limitation on any for of magic and as such I would like to see less limitations on some forms of magic as it set back magical eploration back from those who seek to learn more about the mystery that is magic.

Justin Kuya Slytherin, Fourth Year Lesson One and Three. (I will do lesson for tomorrow as I am running short of time.)
Lesson One Justin Kuya yawned as he entered his first Transfiguration classroom. This was sure to be interesting, he could barely remember anything, but he was sure he'd remember... at some point in time, maybe. He rolled his shoulders, listening to the cracks as he sat down beside a fellow Slytherin, not that he spoke to them, why should he? This wasn't a social call, he wasn't here to chat with some person in his house, he was here to learn, well, that's what everyone seemed to tell him. After being yelled at so many times about his learning habits, he thought he might as well be more involved with stuff of the academic type, if he wanted to be anything when he was older. The Professor, Professor Ava Davershire, seemed chirppy, that was nice, if she was a bird, but from what Justin could see, she was a woman, not a bird, not a little girl, so why was she so chipper? He nodded at the words that appeared on the board, but didn't write them down, he'd remember, he didn't have the memory of a goldfish, he was sure he could handle remembering a few words. He leaned on his hand instead of raising it to answer a question, he probably wasn't going to be choosen, so he wasn't going to bother. He rolled his eyes at the answer. Well whattaya know? Switching spells switch two objects? He would never have guessed such a thing! How fascinating! They should get the Headmaster in here, because this is one important piece of information.
Justin nodded along when some students started nodding, truth be told, he zoned out for a few minutes on that one he nodded to the explaination blindly, he had no idea what she was going on about. Library for him today. He smirked at the word: trickery. Though he would have used the term: mischief, because that was a far cooler word. If there was one thing Justin liked to do, it was annoy people, and that sometimes meant he had to play pranks on them, all for his enjoyment, of course. He'd never do anything if he couldn't see the enjoyment. He only did classes because one, his fathers would kill him and death didn't sound so fun, and two, when he's older and has good grades, he can be anything he wants and then he can stuff around and ruin lives, it was a perfect plan. He growled quietly when he saw what looked suspiciously like an assignment. Was this lady crazy? It was the first lesson and they had an assingment? He slumped in his chair, mood ruined, again. He rolled his eyes and decided that he was relax instead of doing the assignment, what was it going to get him? It was a small paper on switching spells or something similar, a story. He could tell a few, but he wasn't going to write them down, that would mean that there was written evidence that could come back to bite him on the bum. Nope, he'd just check out the library, he seemed to be getting closer to that foregin place as the years flew by. Lesson Three Justin Kuya entered the Transfiguration classroom, making sure he was wide awake this time, last time he had been lolling around at his desk, he had accidently put himself forward as an exaple, it wasn't something he wanted to repeat, and the added fact that in Herbology he nearly tripped and died because he was distracted made him extra cautious. Well, maybe the near fall in Herbology wasn't that dangerous, but he didn't want to trip and nealry fall in here, possibly hitting a desk and dying, wasn't something he aspired to do. He eyed the Professor suspiciously, she looked very, very happy today and he wasn't sure how he felt about it, he was most certainly not over the moon by the odd smile she wore, he was never one for people smiling for no apparent reason to him. He sat down at his seat and lent on his elbows, making sure he kept as conscious and attention holding as possible. What flew out the Professors door made him lift his head off his hands with interesting, he was excited, but he hid it behind mild curiousity. He wanted to do this switching spell thing, it sounded cool. Her excitment didn't even bother him anymore, because he was sharing it, but he seemed to be controlling it better, but that was just him, for all he knew, she was a very expressive person.
Justin nodded as she explained switching spells, she was right, they did seem pretty easy and simple, but when she shook her head, Justin had the idea that there was more to them, though when you thought about it, a lot of things could go really, really wrong, very easily. He hoped this wouldn't be too hard, or all his excitment would be instantly flushed down the drain. He watched her demonstration, he had never done something like that, he would usually say something, whether it be an incantation, or just a random thought, he would always say something when holding his wand, it was a habit of his, he liked talking to his wand, well, not holding full conversations with it, but the odd word would fly out his mouth with the intention of it being aimed towards his wand. But this spell seemed to require consentration for newbies, and Justin had to admit, he would be classified as a newbie, which meant a lot of consentration. He watched the quills change colours, and right before his eyes, the black quill was where the white quill was and vice-verse. This was awesome. He nodded, most switching spells have no incantation, that was new, why had no-one told him this before? Did they like keeping him in the dark or something? He watched her repeat her lesson, this time with the quills at a greater distance than before, so it was possible to do it at distances. One question pleagued his mind, how far was too far?
He nodded and pulled out his wand and collected a black and white quill, then he sat them on his desk and looked at them closely for a few seconds without trying the spell, he wanted to ready himself, ro he'd never get this done. He had forty minutes, it seemed long, but if he couldn't do it, it could be a very short forty minutes indeed. He lefted his wand, the same way the Professor did and closed his eyes, trying to clear his mind and blocking his thoughts. The white quill had to be where the black quill was, so at the right on his desk, while the black quill had to be where the white on was, so at the left of his desk. He sighed and moved his wand, thinking about the movements of the quills and then opened his eyes, no change, he sighed once again and repeated his previous actions, twice, before it actually worked, and when it did, he was very very happy, this was better than Halloween.

Name: Warren Hewitt House: Hufflepuff Lesson: 4th years, lesson 4
Warren was quick to action during his transfiguration class. He was dreading having to deal with switching spells again, mostly because he was… well rather inept at the charm. During his last lecture he was told that he needed to switch two papers, and while he did manage to do it… Warren wasn’t exactly sure how to do this task.
“I’ve got this.” Warren said to himself. “I may have no idea how I did my last switch. But I’ll figure it out today!”
Warren sat down nervously twitching hoping to get to action today. The preamble was much to long for Warren’s tastes. He simply wanted to get starting, not listen to the teacher discuss the animals they were switching.
“I could do this, fowl and guinea pig...” Warren said excitedly when the teacher finally gave them permission to practice.
He stood up and pulled out his sleek red wand. He twirled the wand between his fingers before he snapped it at the mammal.
…
Nothing happened.
“I got this.” Warren said pumping himself up before performing the exact same gestures. But again nothing occurred. “This is bullshit…”
Over and over again Warren continued to point his wand at the mammal concentrating on switching it. He continued to point his wand at the rodent, and again nothing happened. The rodent began to fall asleep from boredom.
Warren looked around, maybe it was just impossible. However, other students seemed to have no trouble at all at the supposedly simple spell.
Warren’s repeated failures simply made him upset. “Switch! For heavens sake SWITCH!”
A distorting force moved from Warren’s wand to the rodent. The creature finally woke up, and started to jitter. The guinea pig floated into the air for a few moments before it was suddenly launched out the window.
A few of the students jumped in response to the sound of the glass shattering. “Sorry…” Warren meekly apologized. He bowed his head in shame, “What are the chances I can get a new guinea pig?”
The professor handed Warren a new rodent, and provided him with a few tips. She explained to him that switching objects wasn’t exactly switching their locations, it dealt more switching their forms.
“Switch forms of two objects…” Warren breathed to himself heavily. “Lets do this…” Calmly Warren tapped his wand on the rodent three times. Before his eyes it began to sprout wings. Its face pointed out into a beak, and feathers slowly pushed themselves forward from the wings.
Warren was tempted to stop the spell right there. It was an adorable little creature. “I think I should call it a guinea griffin.” Warren joked. He tried to explain it to the students around him. However, they didn’t really seem to care for Warren’s humour while they were trying to concentrate.
“Fine I guess I’ll keep going…” Warren continued to cast his spell, and the creature switched fully. “Epic.”
Warren was glad he was done, but incredibly tired. He showed the Professor, and then left the room finally satisfied that he understood how switching spells worked.
O 10 points from Hufflepuff. Swearing is not tolerated in my classroom.

Name: Luthor Silverback House and Year: Slytherin First Year Lesson Missed: One
Transfiguration the topic that held the most interest to him. Yet at the same time Luthor had almost no interest in showing up to the class. He had discovered that for some reason the first lesson of the term was nothing but going over rules and what they would be learning that term if anything at all. It seemed that the Professors wanted to make sure they weren't all babbling idiots before they let them try and do any sort of magic. Walking into the classroom Luthor took a seat front and center and waited for the rest of the class to show up so they could start on the whole bunch of nothing they where going to be doing that day.
Once the Professor walked in and introduced herself as Professor Davershire. She seemed like an alright Professor one who wouldn't try to be all motherly but also not try to be overly harsh. Now if only Luthor could be sure that she would teach them something worthwhile. Hearing that they would be using there wands often pleased Luthor a lot. Finally a Professor who knew that the only way the students where going to learn magic was be practicing it.
All to soon the Professor started to go on about her background and her family Luthor rolled his eyes. Just when he thought he had found a Professor who was some what smart she had to go and mess it up with talking about herself. Luthor could care less about that. He didn't like talking about his family and when people asked he made something up and always told a different story to everyone.
Finally they got to the heart of the lesson and Luthor soon found out what it was they where going to be doing this year. Luthor knew that he would be able to do these things without much thought on his part so he skipped taking notes and just listened to the women speak. Finally the lesson was done and they where free to go. Picking up his things Luthor decided that if he found time he would do the homework but if not than oh well. Name: Luthor Silverback House and Year: Slytherin First Year Lesson Missed: Two
It was the second lesson for Transfiguration and Luthor could not seem to be able to find the classroom. That was odd he normally had to trouble at all finding his way but today it seemed that the classroom had been moved. Could it be true about what they said the castle. Could the classrooms really move around as they saw fit? If so than Luthor would have to study this more in order to figure it out and see if he could use that to his advantage.
Finally he found where he was supposed to be and enetered the classroom still well before most other students. What was wrong with people? Did they live for showing up at the last moment? As the last stdent enetered Luthor gave them a good hard look. Yes he would be speaking with them after class. They where wasting his time.
Finally class was started they went over what the Ministry of Magic had to say about Transfiguration. Luthor could care less about the Ministry but he knew that he had to follow the rules. The more he stayed out of the notice of the Ministry now the eaiser it would be for him later on in life.
The lesson continued on and they where given homework and Luthor was once again faced with the choice of doing it or not. Deciding he would figure out later Luthor packed away his things and left the classroom trying to avoid the annoyance that was Epiphany.
O E Name: Luthor Silverback House and Year: Slytherin First Year Lesson Missed: Three
Walking into class Luthor was shocked to see a dog sitting by the Professor's desk. He did not like animals they needed to many things. Looking around for the Professor. Luthor wanted to ask her to remove the creature at once. This was a place of learning and they could not do that if there was a dirty animal running around spreading germs. As the dog ran close to Luthor he moved his feet out of the way if it came close to him one more time he was going to kick it at the very least if it was lucky.
Before he could react the dog jumped onto the Professors desk and turned into the missing Professor. Seriously? Is that supposed to impress us? Luthor thought while some of his classmates looked at the Professor in wonder. Now that the show was done and out of the way they could get down to the lesson at hand. As he listened to Professor Davershire talk about Animate to Animate transfiguration.
It was all interesting. At least getting to hear what the Ministry thogutht about it and how they tried to control it. He could understand why they would want to have control over things and he could understand why people didn't want the Ministry to have that much control. Luthor didn't really care about this. None if it really effected him one way or another. If Professor was to ask him than he would tell her what he thought but other than that he prefered to keep his thoughts to his self.
As the lesson continued on Luthor decided that he hadn't wasted his time today by coming to class. As the class was winding down they where given homework and Luthor decided that he would do this homework just so Professor Davershire would know what was on his mind.

Name: Luthor Silverback House and Year: Slytherin First Year Lesson: Third
I think that the Ministry should have complete and total control of Transfiguration. I find that giving people the right to use Transfiguration for things other than learning and offical reasons is just asking for trouble. The Ministry should stop anyone with the ability to become an Animagi from doing it. When it comes to Time Travel the Ministry should put a stop to it all together. No one should for any reason go back in time. To do otherwise could cause problems in present time.

Samual Kaster Gryffindor Fourth Year Lesson One-Four
Lesson One Samaul Pace Kaster entered the first Transfiguration classes of his Fourth year with his stomach in knots, he was so excited for what this year had to bring, he was ready, he was ready for his classes and for learning, nothing was going to stop him from doing this, last year he hit a few speed bumps, but this year was new, fresh. He nodded and sat down near a window, pulling out all his things and readying himself for the start of the lesson. His memory had ran away from him, this was so exicting! His smile wouldn't remove itself from his face as he watched the Professor start the lesson, much to his relief, she seemed like she was in a fantabulous mood too! This was simply fantabulous and made Sammy more chipper. He decided to not pull out some parchment to write a few things down, he was sure he would remember, and even though it was better to be safe than sorry, he doubted that he would forget anything that happened today, even if he hit his head and forgot everything he was sure he would manage. He shook his head and smiled, hopefully, this year was going to be fantabulous, hopefully. A lot of stuff could go wrong, but he didn't care, he was going to be happy and relaxed, andthis teacher was making it easy for him to do this, making him like her more. As a question was asked, he raised his hand, but another boy, a Ravenclaw, was chosen and answered the question correctly. That was interesting, were thye going to learn these spells right now? Was this going to be the focus of their next few lessons? The butterflies returned.
Samual nodded, cross-species switching? He squealed slightly and clapped his hands together. This. Was. FANTABULOUS! He already liked this Professor, she seemed fun and acted really young, though Sammy doubted she was as young as she appeared, there was nothing wrong with feeling young and being happy, she deserved to feel however she wanted. He watched the board as an assignment appeared and nodded, assignments were fine by him, if he wanted to get a good job, he had to start thinking like someone that wanted a job, sure he was only in Fourth Year, but he graduated in three years and all those three years would be filled with exams that would effect the rest of his life, he had to work hard at them. 'Do assignment' he thought to himself, packing uphis stuff and leaving the room, the butterflies starting to settle.- Quote:

Homework Samual Kaster Gryffindor Fourth Year Transfiguration, Lesson One Switching Spells Switching spells are, as the name implies, transfiguration spells that switch one thing for another. You can switch objects, as well as things like ears and teeth. For example, if you were battling a dangerous creature, lik a werewolf, you could switch their teeth or claws with something far less dangerous... like daisies.
Lesson Two Samual Pace Kaster entered the classroom happily, he was beginning to look forward to his Transfiguration classes, which was good because he had to go to this class if he wanted to be a Professor, it was one of the professions that crossed his mind, though Healer had also been there, maybe even an Auror? In all honesty, he had no idea what he was going to do, or be, but he hoped he would like the job, or he wouldn't know what he would do, he would be devastated if he couldn't find the right job for him. He sat down next to a Hufflepuff boy and unpacked his things and looked around and smiled slightly, then started laughing as a fellow classmate called out. He recognised the candy the Professor possessed, you didn't live in a house with seven older siblings and not know your way around jokes, pranks and sneak attacks, that candy was obviously suspicious. He smiled, he knew what is was, and he knew its use and why it was used, even though he had never personally used it, his older siblings had and he had either been a victim, or side-kick. He nodded as the Professor began to give them a short history of the transfiguration spells that made these sorts of pranks possible, most of them earning a giggle, or an outright laugh from the cheerful Gryffindor, even the sweetest of kids had a mischievous streak, and Samual was no exception to this rule of common knowledge. But he had to admit, the wizard that casted random spells to trick people seemed to have way too much time on his hands to do that all day long, there was having a joke, and then there was being obsessed with pranks, and that old wizard seemed to walk a fine line, in Sammy's opinion. He listened and absorbed the information like a sponge and kept his attention on the Professor, ignoring other distractions, smiling when she held up the candy once more.
At first, Samual thought that he would have to put his hand up in order for there to be an actual example, he had gone through it all before, and unless it turned him into a dinosaur, he knew what to expect and he had been the unfortunate victim of many sibling pranks when he was younger, but instead a Slytherin boy took the candy instead, they had a lot of classes together, and Samual felt a little bad that he had never really spoken to the boy, but then again, it took two to start and maintain a conversation, and Sammy knew when he wasn't wanted. The boy didn't seem to fully understand what he had done, it was like he was in some sort of dream state or something when the transformation happened and concluded, with Samual laughing and giggling throughout the whole process. When the lesson was over he packed up his stuff and left the classroom, that was one fantabulous lesson. Lesson Three Samual Pace Kaster was ready, he was ready for his third lesson of Transfiguration, for sure. Once again he beamed at his Professor, she seemed extra excited today, and it seemed contagious, because Sammy immediately became excited, so far, if Professor Davershire was excited, Samual had the time of his life, so if things kept on that way, today was going to be fantabulous and he couldn't wait, butterflies came back as the excitement built up, he wanted to squeal, but he accidentally did that in Herbology a few weeks ago at the sight of the super cute, wiggly Bubotuber plants and received glares, he didn't want a repeat or that, even thought the lesson was quite okay after wards, the glares were no fun. He nodded, switching spells, he had wondered when they'd do those, his question was now answered, he nodded as she went on explaining about the spells and how some thought they were simple, when they actually were not simple at all and could apparently be difficult, he could see how this would be true, after all, you were making two things trade places with each other, it didn't sound like a simple task at all, in fact, it seemed different and new, and different and new were always just a little bit difficult, nothing new was ever easy, or nothing would be interesting and challenging, no-one would grow and be better than they already were. He watched her pull out two quills, giggling as she showed her dramatic side and watched her demonstration closely. At first, it seemed that the quills simply changed colours, but no, they had actually changed places, right before their eyes, they just slowly blended and separated, it was really interesting to watch the colours change like that. As she spoke he decided to write some of what she said down, for future reference.

Most cases that when you cast a switching spell there is no incantation. Objects do not have to be in close range of one another.
As Sammy put his quill down, he nodded and collected a white and black quill and sat them on his desk, he had forty minutes to switch these? This would hopefully not take too long to achieve, he cleared his active mind as best as he could and closed his eyes, it seemed like a natural thing to do, mainly because if he saw something shiny, that would surely distract him from his task. He sighed, as if making all his thoughts leave his head through that single breath and held out his wand, thinking about moving the quills to their respective places, after several thoughts, sighs and eyes opening, he finally came to a smile, before time ran out too! He had done it! He had actually succeeded in doing this! This was excellent, he was so pleased, this was absolutely fantabulous! He smiled and packed everything away after it was time to leave and then left, even happier than when he came in, if that was at all possible. Lesson Four Samual Pace Kaster skipped into the classroom happily, Transfiguration had been climbing the ladder to his favourite class, behind Herbology. He liked the cheery atmosphere of the classroom, even if some of his classmates didn't share his attitude to the class, but he didn't really care, he enjoyed the lessons and that's what really mattered. He beamed at the Professor and she stood happily at her own desk. He sat down and unpacked his things, getting comfortable before getting ready to listen to her. He smiled brightly. cross-species switches? That sounded fun, but difficult, transferring the quills took him three goes, though he had never tried that sort of magic before, but he was quite sure that after a few goes of this he wasn't going to be a pro or anything, and this was actually living creatures, he didn't want to harm them in any way, so he wanted to make sure that he did everything well, preferably perfectly, but that probably wasn't going to happen. He smiled at the cage of guinea pigs, they were so cute, some were fluffy, some weren't, but they were all squeaking with their high-pitched sounds, some probably found it annoying, but Sammy didn't mind it at all, it was better than hearing three screaming babies, or toddlers in the case of Hamish, Bethany and Lucy. He looked around for the guinea fowl, but he couldn't find one, he frowned slightly, would they be doing this without seeing the guinea fowl? He wasn't sure if he could do that without harming the animal. His emerald eyes followed the way the Professor motioned, outside, but there was no flock at all, this only made him more confused. Samual's face dropped, they wouldn't be able to see both animals while switching them? What if the Guinea fowl he cast the spell on was being half eaten and then he put the guinea pig in that situation and get a half eaten guinea fowl?
Samual got up and picked up a super fluffy tri-coloured guinea pig, it had a dint in its head and squeaked loudly as he picked it up delicately, he couldn't help but grow attached to it within seconds of holding it, and even gave it a name, Foo-foo, that was a nice name for a fluffy guinea pig, well, Sammy thought so. He took Foo-foo back to his desk and sat him down, surprised that he didn't try to run away, he took a deep breath and concentrated, he could do this, he was only potentially going the seriously harm these animals, no biggie, right? He closed his eyes and thought about what the Professor said "Complex, but not impossible." She was right, he could do this, it wasn't impossible. If Jack could get prefect and high marks in Durmstrang, Sam could switch a guinea pig with a guinea fowl. He thought about switching the two animals, and even pictured them switching. But when he opened his eyes, Foo-foo was just staring at him, he nodded and ran his tongue across his teeth and tried again. After three more goes he opened his eyes to find Foo-foo was more feathery than fluffy and smiled, it was working! He beamed at the guinea fowl that stood in front of him proudly. He then waited for the end of class, making sure he made it clear that his guinea fowl had a name too, Beaky.

Name : Yerik Rhys Price House and Year : Ravenclaw Fourth Year Lesson : Lesson Five
The young claw had a good start for this day, although he woke up a bit late. He was lucky enough to grab some breakfast before entering their classroom for Transfiguration. Once he entered he already saw a couple of students seated, he hurriedly made his way inside to avoid any attention. In which he did a good job since no one seems to notice him entered the room, not even Professor Davershire. As the class started he heard that all they were going to do is to to some outline, which he really never liked making one. It's like wasting your time on doing an outline, when you can just use the fifth lesson for a lecture or something. Yerik Rhys sigh and still hated the idea but he had no choice but to do one. So, he brought out his parchment and quill and started to write down some outline, which he'll not use anyway.

Canary Creams An Irish man back in the 1300's, cast a spell into a rock in the middle of a wooded area that caused everyone that touched it to have their guinea pigs for guinea fowl. There is no need for any incantation to cast a switching spell. Cross-species switches is when one takes one animal and swaps it for another.

Justin Kuya Slytherin, Fourth Year Lesson Five
Lesson Five Justin couldn't help but be pleased for the term to be ending. He would get to see Drake again, after so long without his twin brother, he would be allow to go to France and visit him, but that was all it was going to be, just a visit, he was not going to stay with the woman that kept him there, Justin hated his mother so much, he wished her to just die and send Drake back, but she wouldn't, she was too stubborn to die. But even with all of this, his life was beginning to look up and he no longer felt trapped in the unknown. It was a good feeling, boosted by the pleasant weather. And as he walked into Transfiguration, that day, he couldn't help but smirk. Even when he heard that they would be studying that day, he didn't mind, he just wore a small smirk the entire time because he couldn't wait to see Drake again.
Justin took out his writing supplies and set about doing the work in the classroom. Alright, he would have much preferred to be doing practical work but his good mood could not be ruined simply because he had to sit and got writing. When he was done, he stretched and packed up all his things and left the room, finally he had not been caught up on the fact that the Professor had the most annoying happy voice in the universe, he left in a somewhat good mood.

They turn into a giant canary but they still have the mind of a human. ~Similar to animate to animate object transfiguration spells in that the creature will keep the same mind and know the same things as it did before and so a cat to an owl would still behave like a cat and be unable to fly. ~The only real difference is that humans can understand what's going on and can learn to move in the way required for flight. Andy Hydran Ravenclaw, Fourth Year Lesson One, Two, Three and Four
Lesson One - Lesson One
-
Andy sat timidly in the first Transfiguration class of the year. He wasn't feeling the best today, mainly because he saw a spider earlier, and it has completely ruined his whole mood for the day. Andy couldn't stand spiders, or any other creepy crawlies, even humans put him on edge. The only thing that gave him the smallest amount of comfort was the fact that if he was in Transfiguration, he was not in Herbology. It wasn't that Andy didn't like Herbology, he just didn't like dirt, sunlight, plants, pollen, flowers, creepy-crawlies, dirty air and the Professor and some of his classmates were rather odd to the poor Ravenclaw. Not that his Transfiguration classmates weren't odd, because they were the same students, and the Professors cheery attitude made Andy wonder why she was not a clown or something of that nature, someone that was so happy should be caring for sad people, not teaching a class of students. Or maybe it was just the fact that he was worried about why she was so happy that led him to think like this. Andy looked at the board and watched words appear rather quickly, and then he wrote down what was written. He wasn't exactly sure on the focus of the class this time, switching spells sounded complex, and he immediately started worrying about it. What if he had to switch something and he stuffed up? What if he killed something? What if he accidently started sending one of his classmates to the position of someone else and accidently merged them forever? He couldn't bare the thought of him accidently merging two innocent people for life, he'd feel so guilty. He listened and watched as the class became involved with the subject, but he chose to stay quiet and very still so he was not noticed.
- Notes
-
~Imbuing objects with magic: Switching Spells Andy watched the Professor carefully, so that none of her suprising actions and vocal ranging would shock him, sometimes someone speaking louder was enough to give the poor Ravenclaw a fright. The more she explained switching spells, the more terrified he got, they sounded like such horrible spells, being used to trick people, they were not nice spells at all. He shrunk in his chair and waited nervously for the lesson to end. Andy really liked learning, but he couldn't understand why the classes had to be so terrifying and abnormally frightful, sometimes all he wished for was one class, just one, that he could enter, sit through and leave feeling relatively pleased with the lesson, not tearing his hair out because of something he was going to be learning about. Like he was right now. He quickly picked up his things and left the classroom quietly.
Lesson Two - Lesson Two
-
Andy sighed inwardly as he entered his second Transfiguration Lesson, he was still nervous about the whole: Switching Spells. Thing, he couldn't shake the fact that he could stuff it up and kill something, he'd never be able to forgive himself if he took the life of something. He sat down quietly and looked at his book. When people started laughing and calling out, Andy was taking by suprise, why were they acting like that? He looked at Justin, who didn't seem to get the joke either. Had they both missed something? Or were they raised differently? Andy ran his pale hand through his hair slowly, trying to figure out where the joke was hidden in the conversation between the Porfessor and the Students. It was frustrating, and he could tell that Justin was feeling frustrated also, he knew his cousin too well to not realise when he was annoyed, which made Andy's mood go even further South. Andy had never felt so left out of a conversation in his life, basically the entire class was laughing and snorting to themselves, while Andy simply sighed and looked back at his book. right now, it was ten times more interesting, and one thousand times less confusing than this entire class and its behaviour. Andy tilted his head slightly. What was canary cream? He nodded slowly as someone answered that question for him, and then he frowned. He already didn't like this 'treat', Andy was a firm believer of not changing your shape, unless you were an animagus, but even then he was a little skeptical about the whole thing, the whole process and thought confused him enough for him to fear it, so unlike so many other children his age, Andy had no ambition to become an animagus, it seemed like such a scary thing to be.
Andy nodded slowly, Transfiguration was interesting, he'd give it that, but it seemed so scary and confusing, he wasn't sure he liked, or hated the class. It was too confusing for the Ravenclaw to even think about. He listened to the Professor explain the history of transfiguration spells half-heartedly, he didn't like them, and it was doubtful that that view would change anytime soon. Andy was subtly mortified at the antics some wizards got up to, he thought his cousins were a bunch of trouble makers, but they were nothing compared to some wizards it seemed. He watched with curiousity as the Professor picked up a little pastry, Andy wasn't crash hot on pastries, he didn't like how they crumbled and made a mess. Though, the whole spell that was apparently on the 'treat' sounded complicated. But when she asked for people to actually [itry the thing, Andy grew pale and immediately shook his head, putting hsi eyes to his book. When he heard movement near him, he saw that Justin, his cousin, the guy that was apparently related to him by blood, stand up and eat the 'treat'. Andy was shooked beyond belief and didn't even look at him. How could he be so silly? Andy packed up his things upon being allowed to leave and left the room quietly, still in shock.
Lesson Three - Lesson Three
-
Andy entered the Transfiguration classroom carefully, this class was interesting, but it frightened him, and the Professor was always happy, every single time, he didn't understand and it confused the Ravenclaw so much that it made him worry about her true motives. Was she hiding something behind her smile? He couldn't be sure. But when she informed the class on what they would be doing this lesson, Andy's heart skipped a beat and he grew pale. They were actually going to be performing the spell, he wasn't ready for this, no way. He watched the Professor explained what they would be doing in detail, and give some background on the spells themselves, but Andy couldn't help but worry about what they would be doing today. It seemed crazy, he had only gone to the class... maybe three times, it seemed too soon to actually be practising it. Maybe they should do more written work, writing was always nice, and safe, unless he managed to get a paper cut, or accidently smudged ink on his hands, possibly getting ink poisoning and dying. He sighed and reluctantly pulled his thoughts back to the present and what was happening in front of him, the Professors presentation. The Professor took two new quills out from her pocket, one black and one white, then she placed them on the desk in front of her. He jumped when she suddenly exclaimed. That had taken him by surprise in deed, he knew the Professor was a bubbly type, but he hadn't have expected her to practically scream her lungs out for their attention, a simple 'Watch me', probably would have done the trick, for Andy anyway, he couldn't tell what the rest of the class would have reacted to such a simple request, but he was sure they were all interested and would have listened.
However, Andy still watched her carefully, he, just like most of his peers, was interested in the spell, even if he really didn't want to do it himself, and was scared of failure, deforming the objects, or accidently deforming someone else, he still watched the Professors, perfect, presentation, which was probably why she was a Transfiguration Professor, it would have been awkward if the Professor herself couldn't do a spell she was teaching her students. So, at least he could ask someone for help if when he stuffed up, because he was sure he would stuff up something, he was already shuddering with worry. He watched the quills change colour, the black slowly turned to white, while the white one slowly turned to black. If Andy had not known any better, he would have thought that they simply changed colours. He nodded slowly, rarely an incantation, just brilliant. Andy had never really used word-less magic, so not only was he going to try and switch stuff, something he had never really done, he was also going to be doing it without uttering a single word. He was going to do something dangerous, he was sure, and already worrying about it. He continued to listen to the Professor's small lecture about switching spells and how it mainly relied on concentration to actually work. This was yet another problem plaguing the small blonde, he found it awfully difficult to concentrate in this class, because everything was so scary, it was so distracting, but he was quite sure the Professor didn't even realise how horrifying her room was to Andy, because he was always shaking, where ever he was at the time.
The presentation continued, and he watched the Professor demonstrate how Switching spells can be used in long distance things, which was interesting. He slowly stood up and collected a black and a white quill from the Professor, and then made his way back to his desk. What was he going to do? He sat them on opposite sides of the table and looked at them, just so he could get a mental image of the two quills before he closed his eyes. He cleared his mind and took a deep breath, he could do this, he had 40 minutes, hopefully that would be enough. But before he could even think about transferring the two quills, his mind derailed onto something else: What if he tried the spell, and it didn't work? What if he asked for help from the Professor and accidently started switching her for a tree outside? What if he did that and it didn't work, causing the Professor to become a tree-lady for the rest of her life? What if someone in class thought it would be funny to switch Andy for a tree outside? He shook his head and ran his fingers through his hair. If this was going to work, he had to remain calm and give it a chance to actually work, even if it did seem to ask a little bit much of him. He closed his eyes once again and concentrated on the quills. When he opened his eyes, there was no change. He nodded slightly, at least he had stayed on task and had not side-tracked, that was good. He closed his eyes, and ignored the urge to open them and make sure that he was one hundred percent safe. Concentrating on the quills, he ignored the thoughts of stuffing up and concentrated on the quills switching. After about thirty minutes of constant closing his eyes and ignoring the urge to scream, Andy finally managed to switch the quills, it had taken, seemingly a million tries, but he had done it, before the time-limit closed. He wore a very subtle smile as he left the class. Finally, he'd done something right.
Lesson Four - Lesson Four
-
Andy walked into the Transfiguration classroom quietly and took his seat. He watched the Professor stand happily and watch them, but then, she spoke. Andy listened to her, she was telling them what they would be doing, and he sighed deeply. He was actually going to make them switch two different types of animals? He was mortified. He watched her carefully, surely she was kidding, surely she would give him more time to actually swallow that fact that he could accidently kill something today? Andy listened as the Professor explained that once they knew the technique of casting these spells without incantation it would be easier for them. As the Professor told them that they would change the guinea pigs with guinea fowls, Andy wondered where the guinea fowls were, and he also began to worry about whether he would be able to actually do this or not, when Andy worried, he tended to lose concentration, and began to shake, and sometimes he fainted, he didn't want that, not today. He looked around as someone asked where the guinea fowls were, and nodded slightly, he was wondering the same thing. But the Professor simply told them they were out there, outside. Unlike nearly every other student in class, Andy stayed firmly in his seat, if he got up now, he feared falling down because he couldn't feel his feet. The kids that went there seemed even more confused then before, this was when the Professor explained what she meant by out there. Andy gulped as he understood what the Professor meant, finally. 'Would we able to do that? The creatures might be across the globe' he thought nervously. But the Professor assured them that they would be able to accomplish this in a few tries. Though, Andy doubted it dearly. Andy looked around at his fellow classmates, most of them like himself were looking at others. ‘I can do this. he thought as he tried assured himself, since the Professor was doing such a bad job at making Andy think that he was actually capable of doing this without killing something, he had to take matters into his own, very pale, fragile hands. He withdrew his wand from his right pocket and took a guinea pig from the desk, very carefully. When the guinea pig squealed at him, he screamed and nearly dropped it from fright. He looked at the creature, it was a little larger then a hamster, he felt like he should say something, to reassure the creature. "D-don't be scared" he said shakily, though now that he thought about it, he was probably saying it more to himself, than the little furry thing cupped in his hands, Andy was not confident about this whole thing at all.
Andy put the guinea pig on his desk and sat down, looking at it. It wasn't that scary... sort of. Though, Andy didn't like its teeth, they looked sharp and pointy, they would easily be able to break Andy's skin and cause him to... bleed, which would probably end with him fainting at the sight of his own blood. He looked at the scary little rodent and frowned. "You'll be out somewhere in the free world in few minutes if I succeed" He muttered, not really knowing why he was even considering talking to the creature as if it would be able to reply to him. It was odd, he was holding a better conversation with this creature, than he did with a human being that can actually reply to him, maybe that was why, guinea pigs couldn’t talk back. He tried to imagine a guinea fowl begin replaced by the guinea pig. Opening his eyes, he concentrated at the creature in front of him, waved his wand as he focused on that imagination and then visualized the guinea pig switching with the guinea fowl. He was trying his best to ignore his fears and worries, and the sounds of others around him, he once again closed his eyes, still imagining and visualising the spell occurring, and then he opened his eyes.
Nothing happened. The guinea pig simply started at him as if it was wondering what the human creature was trying to do with some stick of wood. "I'm trying." He snapped at the creature. , he was getting frustrated, and the reoccurring fear of failure and manslaughter was putting him on edge. Sure, he probably wouldn’t go to Azkaban if he accidently killed or harmed the creature, but he would be stuck in his own personal prison that he had created long ago. Once again, Andy visualized the switching between the two creatures and then waved his wand and aimed it at the guinea pig. Andy tried again, and again, and it seemed that he had tried over a thousand times to make this spell work, he was starting to think that maybe, the magic had been scared out of him when he screamed earlier. Concentrate, foucs! He told himself as he once again waved his wand pointing at the guinea pig concentrating very hard on it and then visualizing the change once again. The guinea pig in front of him changed to black colour, it developed proper feathers and wings and had white spots and a little tail. The switching spell had indeed worked. Andy sighed with relief when he saw the guinea fowl in front of him, but kept his distance as he carefully returned it to the Professor, and packed up for the lesson had ended. Hopefully, he would never have to do that ever again.

Conan Edogawa Hufflepuff, First Year Lesson Five and Six
Lesson Five Conan entered Transfiguration class. He had a lot of things on his mind. Some were worries and some were future plans. Worries like how his sister was doing and how will he handle his own studies. Plans like how would he celebrate his sister's birthday. And because of this, the young boy was very stressed. A few moments later, Conan almost didn't notice that class had already started.
Conan had snapped back into the real world just to hear what today's lesson was. It was really shameful to go out of focus in class. But that's not what was important right now. Their lesson was changing a match into a needle. Seemed simple enough, but it would be up to his abilities. Conan stood up and got a match from Professor Davershire and took his seat once more. He brought out his wand and tapped it three times. And with deep concentration, "Flammeus Tailora," he said. He watched as the match slowly turned into a needle but, something was a bit off. No, not a bit, really, really off. The needle was larger than his index finger, "Uh-oh," the boy thought. He was about to call the attention of the professor until class ended. "This would have to do," Conan said softly as he handed in the needle and left the classroom.
Lesson Six Conan was walking towards his next class, Transfiguration. He was quite nervous and embarrassed to enter the classroom. The reason? He did very, very bad in the last lesson. He needed to turn a match into a needle. It turned into a needle alright. But, it was larger than his index finger! He shoved off his worry for now, what he needed to do was concentrate because he needed to do well in class. A few minutes later, he arrived at his destination.
He took his seat and Professor Davershire started the lesson not long after. Today's lesson seemed to excite the girls in his class. Because, today, they were going to transfigurate their textbooks into jewelry box. The young boy chuckled at the thought that his sister maybe pretending to not like the lesson at all. Conan brought out his textbook and wand, then, proceeded to listen and watch Professor Davershire's demonstration of the lesson. When it was time for him to do the spell, Conan concentrated on a picture of a simple jewelry box. He tapped his textbook thrice and said, "Gemelitiar." The textbook gradually turned into a jewelry box made of oak with designs of deep blue and gold paint. The young boy was contented and made his way to ask Professor Davershire to turn his book back to normal.
