Daniel flinched when the girl touched his shoulder, it was very light and delicate touch, but it was enough to send pain running through his shoulders, the only thing that made him a little sad was the fact that if he didn't go to the hospital wing, he would go home like this and then have his hectic schedule to deal with, how was he supposed to do ice-skating and gymnastics with a sore shoulder? What about soccer and tennis? What then? He sighed inwardly and put back on his smile, his nice, bbright, happy smile that never seemed to fade. "Well... if I was not lucky, I would have a broken bone right now, but I don't, I'll just get bruises from that fall.'' He explained. He was starting to realize how negative the girl was, but this didn't dampen his mood, he was now determined to make her see all the rrainbow hhe didid. Living happy was very healthy and he wanted the girl to realize this fact so she could be happy anand healthy too, it was never fun being a fuddy-duddy or a boring and mean person.

Daniel frowned stubbornly. ''I don't like the hospital wing.'' He explained, his smile growing back on his face oonce again, he tilted his head at the girls reaction though, it was like Andy, he was scared of blood and he would alalways move away from blood, like the girl had, except she had moved the blood away from herself. ''Are you scared oof blood?" He asked curiously. ''It's just blood, it can't hurt you or anything.'' He said, putting his arm behind his back so the girl wouldn't be able to see his blood, just out of respect for her possible fear oof blood, he wasn't mean, and he would never make someone have to face their fear iif they didn't want to.

[justify]     Showing that she was correct, Artemis snickered softly just beside him as she dropped her left hand to stop the pain that she caused. It was an immediate action too, since she really did not want this guy to be hurt further. Not that she cared for him, but she just did not want to experience some cries and sobs as she practices around the Quidditch Pitch. What she wanted was a quiet afternoon with peace. Company was welcomed though they needed to mind their business and not get into trouble with the teenager. Artemis believed though, that what Daniel had done was absolutely across the line and she was glad that she still remained unnamed to him. Never was she going to reveal her name though, since Artemis never wanted a puppy following her just to talk and converse. That was pathetic and miserable. "I doubt you would die though, so if I did not go for you then probably you'd end up in the Hospital Wing. Right?" The girl clarified and cleared her throat as she shifted her weight to the other side of her body before even looking at the blue sky that had no clouds. It was so blue and so that was why the heat entered with no permission. If it was just possible, the teenager wanted to smack it so hard until it would rain gently just to wet the ground a bit. Artemis saw Daniel's broom and ever wondered if he would ask her to politely get it for him. She immediately looked at his eye level again, hoping that he did not get the same idea as she thought, seconds ago.

"As if it's harmless," Hummed the Slytherin very mockingly as her blue eyes teased him with the word 'coward' in it. What a guy. He definitely deserved some courage after all his years that he lived on earth. What other adventures has he indulged himself in? Artemis was pretty sure though, that everything that he did to himself mostly caused him harm. Good for him, thought the blonde without any emotion on her face but faced him again with her blue eyes sparkling with threat. "But the one that caused it would surely hurt you. That's why it's flowing out of your body. Put that away." The girl wrinkled her high and pale nose in disgust as she stared at the him the same way that he did as he fell. Good thing that he was slowly steadying himself or, Artemis would have to support him just to bring him to the Hospital Wing by now.

Daniel had to admit, he was curious as to the name of the girl. It was interesting, she had saved him from a possible broken bone, but didn't give her name. Maybe she couldn't remember her name? Maybe she was one of those people that forgot simple things like that? It would explain why she avoided the question? He smiled, he was no-longer going to ask for her name, it might be too traumatising for her, he felt a little guilty, what if he made her sad by asking for her name? What if she were embarrassed by the fact that she did not know her name? He nodded to himself, no more asking for her name. He followed her gaze, to the sky and then to his broom. He had forgotten about it in all honesty and quickly realised that it could not just sit up there forever, it had drifted very close to one of the stands that were used to observe Quidditch games, if he really wanted to, he could possibly climb up through the stands and lean over the edge, grab the broom and come back down, but that seemed like a lot of possible pain for the young Hufflepuff, he looked at the girl who-shall-not-be-asked-for-her-name. His brown eyes told her what he was thinking. "Could you please retrieve my broom?" He asked, smiling slightly.

He laughed slightly, he thought that the girl was quite funny, he was too naive and polite to realise when someone was mocking him, not that he would care anyway, he would take it all in his stride, word could never hurt someone, right? "Pain only hangs around for a little bit, it's not like it's stuck with you forever, cuts heal, scars fade and pain leaves." He explained, shrugging slightly, mainly because he did not want more pain to run through his shoulders. The pain reminded him of when he went into the Forbidden Forest with Warren, that was loads of fun, even if they both got the scare of their lives and Daniel twisted his ankle, it was still fun. But he still hid his hand from view and looked at the castle, vaguely where the hospital wing would be, he really didn't like it in there and it probably showed in his eyes.

[justify]     Never did Artemis experience a boy who was just to happy for his own good. If ever she had the ability and the strength to punch him, she would. But considering the circumstances made her insides squirm with disgust seeing that there would be another opportunity for her to see blood once more. Artemis knew better than her previous years in Hogwarts, so probably punching a boy that was possibly older than her was not a good idea that she could do. The punishments in Hogwarts were pretty cool, but it was always better to stay in the safe side. The blonde never longed and dreamed of getting in trouble with a teacher. Sure, she was pretty clever on her way around but her cleverness extends to a point that she knows what she is doing and whatnot. "Hey, you're smiling like crazy again." She reminded him as she looked at him with a blank face. His smile was not necessary with what she was doing, nor did she even expect it. His smile was nice but the blonde did not need to see it every three seconds after she talks. With almost everything she does, he smiles. The boy was pretty crazy in her opinionated mind. "Expected. Sure, just wait." Responded Artemis as she put on her smirk on her blonde features. Of course, the boy would have asked her. What more can he say when he already had an accident. The blonde mounted her broom again and flew in a calm speed then retrieved the broom from the air. Above, she dropped in on the ground when she wasn't far enough from it and it landed right next to Daniel. Artemis did not expect a reply and just dismounted her broom modestly.

"But still, there was pain present!" Insisted the teenager as she dusted of her pants and looked at him strongly. Her blue eyes knew that what she was talking about was indeed correct but anyways, pain is the only thing that can stop Artemis from hiding her emotions. It took several years of practice just to earn that interesting ability from her parents and even from some fellow classmates. Artemis looked at Daniel again with curiosity blended with her striking blue eyes. "Do you still plan to fly? After with what happened?" She asked, and expected him to say something that was an answer of defeat. The blonde immediately knew that flying was not his thing, needless to say that it was better for him to stay on the ground. The Slytherin looked at the afternoon skies again, before returning her blue eyes on his.

Daniel laughed at the mention of his consistant smiling. He didn't see the problem with smiling, it felt good to smile, so he made sure that he did if often. He couldn't understand how people couldn't smile, it was just so natural for him, even when he was introuble, he would break out into a bright smile because he would be distracted by something, it could be anything, really, he might spot something that's bright or colourful, something that suddenly moved would also capture his attention. Something that smelled nice or looked nice would capture his attention and if someone called his name, much like a puppy, he would look, no matter what he was doing. This happened because Daniel had a small attention spand, and never tried to change this fact as he couldn't see the problem with it. "I like smiling." He explained, still smiling happily as he looked around, managing to make his smile wider as the girl retrieved his broom, that was a really nice thing to do, he was very grateful, his brown eyes sparkled slightly. "Thanks, or I may have been forced to climb up all those stairs." He said, picking up his broom and rolling his eyes slightly. Daniel's eyes would speak volumes of what he was thinking, he never could hide his thoughts, his bright, happy, welcoming eyes would always give him away, not that he minded it, he was very happy to allow people into his thoughts, he didn't understand why people would try to hide their thoughts and feelings, it seemed pointless, the truth would come out someday, so why not sooner than later?

He shrugged, the pain was slowly going away, which made him relax, no hospital visit for him today, thank Merlin, he really did hate that smelly place, it smelt of sick and sad, it would tear Daniel's mood down, it would always make him sad and angry, he didn't like feeling either of those feelings, so he avioded the hospital like it was the Black plague. "I suppose you could be correct, but I don't think it's healthy to dwell on the past, especially if it is negative, it is much better to think of the positive, like, if I was to think back five minutes ago, instead of thinking about hitting the ground, I'd think about the fall, how nice it felt." He explained, trying to make the girl see that it was better to ignore pain and suffering and focus on the brighter side of life, the nicer side of life. Daniel nearly jumped with excitment at her next question, he did love flying, even if he was dreadful at it, he still enjoyed it greatly. "I sure would, I love flying." He cheered, holding his broom higher, even though he fell all the time, he did try to hop on a broom three times a week, but he never got better at flying. "I am always trying to come here regularly, I really like flying." He admitted, anyone could tell that he was saying the truth, his eyes gave it all away. "Come fly with me?"

[justify]     The scent of somewhat faraway flowers carried on until it reached the blonde's perfectly structured high nose. She sniffed softly and looked around for Daniel not to see what she was currently busying herself at. The silence of the Slytherin did not really make a big thing out of their conversation but she quit looking hopelessly at her surroundings, stupidly expecting to find some flowers. The air was quite slow though so it was impossible for her to just smell those lovely plants. It soon dawned to her that the location of the Hogwarts Garden was so near and that was when she entirely stopped busying her brain with something not related to their little arguments. She considered them as immature things especially looking at Daniel's impossible and happy mind. "I can see that." Replied the Slytherin and looked at him with no expression. What was there to be snicker and smirk about when the person she was with was pretty crazy and contains an absurd personality. Artemis still had her outer shell protecting over her resulting to give off a personality that was negative and dry. There were barely people who knew her as much as her sister did and never did the blonde try to change that. She never thought of it as much as some people did anyways. Nodding, she looked at him with an understanding look before she resumed looking at the air again, trying to forget those scenes with Daniel's blood.

"You mean your supposed 'crash' was nice? Are you really that absurd?" Artemis questioned with a slight sneer on her blonde features. The boy was a complete hallucination for her striking blue eyes and she just hoped that the next day would prove her damn correct. The deeper side was beginning to cower away from Daniel again, showing him her Slytherin attitude towards those who she did not know as well as her sister and blood relatives. Artemis hid a look of disgust with his perfectly made insanity. Daniel was beginning to creep her out and she certainly was not planning that for now. Did she even laugh throughout the whole conversation? His smiles were so annoying and the insides of Artemis were beginning to squirm awkwardly. "You really do not get tired of crashing, hmm? That's really, an achievement." She smirked softly before even looking at him with her expression, surprised. That remark of his just did not even stop her emotions from showing and expressing what the blonde truly felt with what he had said. "No, you'll crash. I don't wanna save your butt again." She said coolly, her blue eyes matching his daring him to challenge her.

Daniel was curious about one thing, other than the girls name, why she didn't smile. How could she bare to keep such an expressionless face? He couldn't understand why she didn't like smiling as much as he did. Usually when he smiled as much as he did, it turned contagious to those around him, except Andy, who would always sit around feeling sorry for himself, but Daniel didn't dwell on his negative cousin, because right now he was with this nice girl and she was confuiing the magic out of him, how could she not smile? it was such a nice day, there was a beautiful breeze coming and the air was a little cooler, sure, but it was still nice and warm. He tilted his head with confusion. "Why don't you smile?" He asked abruptly. He didn't realise how random his question sounded, but he said it because he was confused and when he was confused he wanted answers, sometimes not realising that normal people would ease into questions, not just randomly ask them because they could. "I mean, you seem so negative, but you don't seem sad, just... negative." He continued, trying to explain the reason of why he was confused, though his explainations were usually poor ones.

He shook his head. Such a silly girl, how could she not see that dwelling on the past was never good? Especially if it was negative. Like crashing, that was negative, so from now on, Daniel would not think about it. Crashing was not fun, it never was. Daniel liked having fun, not causing himself harm, but just because he fell off his broom all the time, it didn't stop him from getting back on his broom and flying again, otherwise that would restrict his life and cause him to have to second guess his actions, he didn't want to be like his little cousin, living a sheltered life that was full of fear and worry. Never. "Just because I crash, does not mean I don't like flying. That's like saying that a clumsy person would never walk because they trip over all the time." He explained. "If I stopped flying because I crash, then I would stop doing other things that I'm not good at, or that would cause me some form of harm because I would be worrying about the outcome of them all. Living like that is ridiculous." He added, further explaining his answer to the girl who seemed to be highly demanding of facts, so he gave them to her. It was no skin off his nose, he liked talking and being open with people, so it was not out of the ordinary for him at all. To her next answer, Daniel frowned slightly, but then perked back up again. "Are you sure you don't want to go flying?" He repeated. To him, it was an innocent question. But to her, it could be considered a threat, because if she didn't fly with him, he'd want her to walk with him, or play some sort of sport with him.

[justify]     Perhaps what was really meant for Artemis for this little session with Daniel was just to remain negative, melodramatic and a bit sarcastic. It was impossible for the two to be close friends and Artemis knew that as well as she knew her dearest sibling ever. How did it even happen for them to talk without Artemis thinking about it? The previous moments were still in her control and now, it was slipping from her own hands passing it on to Daniel. The control in other words, worked as her short temper for the day. The heat wanted her and even tempted her closely enough to pass her practice, resulting to just go back to the common room where it was cooler because of the lovely temperature of the lake. The blonde believed that Quidditch needed to be her number one priority though for the tryouts were nearly there. Her decision was clearly wrong because of the boy's tragic appearance in the Pitch and his attempt to even talk to her while flying. "I do not feel like doing so. Smiling depends on the day, especially the company and weather." Replied Artemis as she ran a pale hand through her dirty blonde hair that was recovering about her previous moments with Daniel. It was a pity that she did not know this beforehand or else the sight of Daniel's face would have warned her to leave this place, urgently. "Forgive me. It's a habit," Artemis replied falsely and winking at the same time for him to realize that it was a joke that she had made ever since ages ago. Her lips did not form a smile though. A subtle smirk hanged on it but soon enough changed into nothing but blankness.

Whatever thing that made Daniel move his head from side to side, it bothered Artemis a lot. Was he criticizing her despite the bubbly and jubilant personality that was poured over his outer shell? Did he have something in mind regarding her? Artemis knew that she had been sort of an arse to the guy, but his entire admiration towards happiness was quite strange. Artemis never knew a person who was this jubilant as him except for her sister. But to be honest, her sister was only mild when compared to Daniel. He was somehow hyperactive and this made Artemis want to question him regarding that. It was slightly rude though so she closed her halfway opened mouth and silently licked her lips as if to seal the words in with glue. Her mouth was forced to open again to reply. But before she can even let some words out, a small chuckle left her lips accidentally. The blonde did not expect it and she let it alone to wander in Daniel's thoughts. "Then why not move on? You would not want yourself to get hurt all the time? Try looking at the disadvantages before you do some things. You jump in things, just too soon." Artemis never expected her own mouth to say that. Usually, it gives out mumbles or mutters that people would hear. Mostly about her opinions and all those rubbish but now, she believed that what she said was strong enough for her own hears to hear and support. Hydran was such an optimist. Artemis knew the weakness of this guy even though he looked older than her. He dwelled on those happy things not even recognizing the things that can hurt him. This was just like a game, a pessimist versus an optimist. Both were well determined to prove their point. "I'm serious about it. You look better on the ground rather than flying unsteadily on the air." Honestly answered the blonde with not even a trace of regret banging on her chest. When he was gone, then she better needed to resume her practice. She was killing herself as she talked to Daniel.

Daniel tilted his head slightly. She sounded like Hazel, Hazel's mood relied heavily on the weather, which was why he was confused, it was a beautiful day! How could she not be skipping around and enjoying herself, like Daniel was before he decided that he needed to contact his spirit guide. Badly. Which made him shake his head slightly, he had failed to do any contacting! The spirits were surely going to punish him for this one. Not only had he injured himself, he had failed to contact Rhia! He frowned to himself, this was probably his first real frown when in the girls company, but this was serious, he had come here for guidence and now he just failed himself, he was feeling pretty dreadful right now. But when he realised that he was frowning, he quickly replaced his frown with a bright happy smile. Why should his annoyances ruin the girls day? He couldn't allow himself to ruin this nice girls day with a frown! That would be horrible. "I'm sorry." He said, shaking his head and continuing in his normal happy manner and continuing the conversation. "But the weather is so nice right now, definately smile worthy." He said, with a small nod. He nodded slowly. It was a habit to look negative? How aweful...

Daniel scoffed, how could the girl say such a thing? Surely she truly didn't mean that? "If I looked at the disadvantages of the things I do, I would forget to look at the positives. Like... flying just than, the disadvantage would be that I could possibly fall, but the advantage was that I could have possibly contacted my spirit guide. Only one can happen and I chose to believe the positive, instead of the negative. That's just how I do things." He explained simply, with a small shrugg, trying to get her to understand his way of thinking. It was difficult, but he was determined. He sighed. It was no use, this pessimistic girl was determined to make him see the darkness of the world, while he was busy trying to make her see the light, he could tell right now that this had the potential to carry on for a very long time, they were both determined and stubborn in their own ways, Daniel was determined to make her see the good side of life, while the girl was determined to bring Daniel's head out of the clouds, he didn't appriciate it, but he was not angry with her, he wasn't sure he could be. "Everyone looks better on the ground, but I wish to fly and I have the means and the motive to do so." He said, gripping his broom, testing how far she would go to stop him from flying.

[justify]     Instantly, Artemis revealed a small grin and a half smirk blending on her pink lips. That sad expression that Daniel had was almost the first ever frown that he had expressed. Artemis was fortunate enough to witness the unusual moment planning to tell other people (possibly his relatives if ever he had some in Hogwarts) about what she just saw. Her own blue eyes sparkled with mockery again but that did not stop her from just staring at him like a goofball. "Nice frown." She commented. The blonde now never seemed the find the wrong in neither frowning nor just keeping a scowl on her blonde features. Alliyah once said that made her ugly but the Slytherin kept that only to herself. Her appearance was not her number one priority nor was she vain in any ways. Artemis looked at Daniel but at the same time his frown disappeared, the small grin likewise did the same thing and was replaced by none other than her signature scowl. It was just this time, she was chewing her inner cheek flesh on the right side. Artemis ignored Daniel as she replayed his frown and his eyes in a long way going ahead of them. He totally was thinking about something. Something that did not really approve off. But that knocked off Artemis from her thoughts and forced herself to look around her surroundings to survey what they were feeling. "It's warm. I'd rather fly on breezy days with much air. Not on warm days like this." Muttered the blonde with nothing but the hot sun in her mind. It stressed the Slytherin just looking at the sun and imagining her self sweat so much. Especially when she needed to attend Herbology.

"No, I meant you should weigh the pros and the cons. Not just look at the pros then jump in," Artemis explained to Daniel her opinion. The blonde knew that she was not as smart as the others and she certainly did not inherit the brains of her mother. "Because that's just foolish." Artemis did not have a trace of hatred or anger, but her insides were beginning to boil. The Slytherin only had her tone just like a snake; It was smooth and sly but it had poison in it too. Artemis was not a pessimist though, she just liked to dwell on her mistakes and think about it, to improve herself. That was one thing that people disagreed of her but that still did not change her own habits. Artemis watched as Daniel gripped his broom and prepared to take flight. The blonde had her broom in her left hand, but made no move to stop him. If he fell, then that was his problem. "Er, no thanks. I'll just watch you." She said softly before even mounting her broom. Artemis looked at him with a small smirk as she looked away. She flew to the bleachers and dismounted, to watch him play around the Pitch with an unbalanced feeling on the broom.

Daniel tilted his head, he had a feeling he knew why Artemis was smirking, it was because he frowned, but now she was sort of smiling, it was good enough for Daniel. He put on an even more cheerful smile, he really liked smiling, because he was a good smiler, his teeth were white and straight, so he was never worried about the appareance of his smile. He laughed cheerfully. "You're smiling!" He accused playfulling, pointing at the girl that stood before him. He decided to leave the negative thoughts of his failure behind him and focus on the positives. He decided to not address her comment on his frown, he would never admit that he was frowning, he wouldn't consider it a 'frown', more like a consideration with a small sort of downward curve. But not frown. He smiled brightly. "I love the sun, it's so bright and colourful, and keeps us all warm." He said happily, looking in the general direction so he wouldn't hurt his honey brown eyes. It was apparent that Daniel loved the sun and loved the outdoors, his body simply expelled happiness and energy.

He shrugged. He didn't think it was foolish, he thought it was more living and keeping things interesting and energising. It made things spontanious. "I don't think it's foolish, to be honest." He said simply, a small shrug rolling off his shoulders, some light pain running through his shoulder and arm. "It keeps things bright and interesting, you can't live if you are not willing to just go for it and hope for the best, if you don't do things because the cons look worse than the pros, you are not really living, in my opinion." He explained, showing his point of view once again as he allowed the girl to show hers. Daniel never dwelled on the negatives and went for the positives, he based himself on what he did right so he could do it again, he would cross off things he had done wrong and wouldn't do them again until he found a formula that worked. Like the forest, he won't go in there again until he had some more spells and knowlegde that he would not run into the centaur again, he still had a scar on his leg from the fall. He narrowed his eyes, not in an angry or annoyed fashion, more like saying: challenge accepted. The air was still, the broom was settled and he was not distracted. He would do a little better this time, though he wouldn't be flying like a pro and would still look like a first year, but he didn't care. He hopped on his broom and followed her to the bleachers. "Why are you so pessimistic?" He asked. "What happened to make you so... negative and emotionless?" His curiousity getting the better of him.

Justin Kuya sighed slightly as he tottered his way through the castle. It was his day off, from Drake. Drake had been insufferable for the past few days, Justin was close to killing him, Drake may be his twin, but that didn't mean that Justin didn't feel like killing him from time to time. But he was not angry today, even though it was hot, in fact to Justin, it was boiling. He felt like he was in a microwave for Merlin's sake! To people like his crazy cousin, Daniel, it would probably be a cool day, but Justin was dying, he was not quite sweating, but it was hot enough to give him a small headache. Since it was hot, Justin decided that some outdoors was needed, even though he had to deal with the sun and possible sun burn, he felt like going somewhere high up. But near the Ravenclaw tower was out of the question, even though the windows up there were nicer and breezier, he didn't want to run into Hazel, or Andy for that matter. He didn't want to deal with Hazel's rants about how worried she was about Andy, and he didn't want Andy super glued to him for the rest of his life. So he went towards the Quidditch Pitch, the stands were airy and they were high up with roof, which meant that it was the perfect place to go. Right now, he considered it heaven.

Justin continued his walk to the Quidditch pitch. Since this Slytherin Fourth Year could be quite lazy when it came to climbing stairs. So he summoned a school broom, considering he had yet to buy his. He mounted the broom, neglecting to look around, until he heard a very familiar voice. It had to be Daniel's voice, because Daniel's voice had a certain amount of... happy in it, it was hard to explain, but impossible to forget, and considering Justin had grown up with Daniel, he knew that voice all too well. His blue eyes darted around in searched the grounds, stopping when he saw Daniel, flying. Justin immidiately grew sceptical, Daniel couldn't fly, at all, he sucked, unlike Justin, who was virtually a natural, considering he rarely flew, though occasionally he would at him with his two fathers teaching him and his brother, but Daniel flew nearly everyday, and still sucked. He flew over quickly, Daniel looked like he was about ready to fall, he was older by several months, but Justin felt like he was his carer when they were alone, his cousin was useless. "Daniel!" He called, flying up beside him and grabbing his arm, stablising his cousin, than looking at where Daniel was looking, confusion grew on his face, very quickly and he tilted his head. He had no idea who she was, but he had seen her before, most likely. Either way, she didn't look too happy to be in Daniel's company, he didn't really blame her. "Daniel... you're coming with me." He demanded, pulling on his Hufflepuff cousins arm sternly, he hated sounding old, like he just did, but this called for it.

[justify]     Smiling was not really a habit of Artemis. Usually, a blank face would do as she would walk the corridors of Hogwarts New Zealand, leaving the people surrounding her to figure out what her emotions were like. Artemis could just say that her smile was not the best of all people but hell, that did not matter in any way. For all she knew, her sister smiled the most in their family and Artemis was pretty sure that she was the one who would always prefer to be alone and to keep steady with life. A smile did not hurt though, occasionally every three hours for the day. But the problem with smiling was that it did not even help her chapped lips. It bled whenever she exposed a huge grin. Seeing blood was just a total exception for the girl especially when it was coming out from her own body. The smile on the blonde's face melted again leaving the same smirk. The left corner of her lips slowly curled upwards as her blue eyes bore into the depths of Daniel's. With her voice filled with a quiet tone she replied, "Really now? And you were frowning seconds ago." Countered the teenager as she suspected Daniel to just move the subject to her foreign smile that would appear from time to time. Unlike him though, his smile was plastered on his face making the boy look goofy wherever he went. The heat made her blonde hair feel a little cramped, making her features crumple into an expression of discomfort and irritation. When would the sun stop shedding its heat and just hide in the clouds. The reality just hit her when she was reminded that there were merely any clouds surrounding them, making Artemis a little disgruntled. "I can definitely see that." She replied with her eyes showering with disappointment with what the weather was offering to her this very unlucky afternoon. Ever since the day started, she knew she would feel a little like this, just exactly the same thing that she was experiencing with Daniel, who was her new hyperactive friend who she did not seem to get along with right away.

The comment that Daniel stated make Artemis pause for a while, as her brain processed the new information that she was giving him. Honestly, it was not information. They were rubbish things that were going in her brain effortlessly. Artemis decided to just ignore it as her brain thumped with difficulty because of the heat and their argument that was beginning to grow big. Daniel would have probably considered it as something else, but Artemis thought of this talk as a rapidly growing argument. The Slytherin looked at him again, once she was ready to answer back with a totally expected comeback. "Well, look at me now. I'm living aren't I? And my decisions are based on what I believe and so far, it has led me well through my whole thirteen years of living." Artemis knew that all her decisions came through a process that she was explaining to Daniel with such intense difficulty. The boy was quite immature for his age, whatever his age was anyways. Artemis always had a sense of maturity ever since she turned the age of eleven. She knew that girls overcome puberty earlier than the boys. By the time Artemis looked at Daniel as he was hovering on the air to answer, she opened her mouth to reply, "Then why are you -" She paused, interrupted by a Slytherin guy that she knew from the dungeons. Artemis definitely did not know his name and some said that he had a huge family residing in Hogwarts. She supposed that Daniel was one of them. Oh, the poor guy had an insane relative.

Daniel sighed slightly. He was finding it so irritating, though it did not show, that this girl couldn't see the silver lining in the clouds, the rainbow after the rain, the happiness that was in life. Sure she could probably be happy, sometimes. But that wasn't any way to live, she should be happy all the time, being happy was always nice, though he knew people didn't agree. People like this girl in front of him, people like every single one of his cousins, people like his aunts and uncles, they all thought it unhealthy to be happy. Daniel was grateful that his parents were normal, they were always happy too, just like him, so it wasn't his fault that it was second nature to be happy, he was raised like that. Though no matter how annoyed he was at the moment, he was not going to take it out on the girl, nor was he going to address the fact that he had frowned a few minutes ago, it was just once, it occasionally happened. He wasn't perfect, he wasn't happy all the time, that would be impossible, but he was happy ninety-nine percent of the time, that was good enough for him. "We are not talking about my possible frown, we're talking about your smile, which seems like it isn't used enough." He said, glancing in the general direction of the sun, when she spoke again, he got a sense that the girl didn't like the sun, how dreadful! How couldn't someone like the sun? It was so nice, warm, cheerful and just seemed perfect, except when he managed to get a sunburn, which was very rare, but it had happened once or twice in hisseveral years of living.

He crossed his arms across his chest, he decided not to comment, if he spoke, his voice would be filled with annoyance, which he didn't want. So, he held his tongue and paticently waited for her to finish her statement, his smile melting into a smirk, not quite a frown. He had gotten his annoyance under control and was about to speak, but he felt someone pulling at his arm and saying his name, he knew the voice, it was either Drake, or Justin. Logic told him that it would be Drake, he was more likely to wonder out of the castle on a hot day and go to the Quidditch Pitch, he liked Quidditch, but when he turned his head, he was met with Justin's blue eyes, not Drake's grey ones, unless he was wearing contact, which was possible, it was Justin, so that was how Daniel was going to address him. "Justin." He said, a smile growing on his face again. "What are you doing here? Isn't it a little too hot for you?" He questioned, than he turned back to the girl, and continued smiling. "This is Justin, my cousin." He explained, motioning to the annoyed looking boy beside him.

Justin groaned. He couldn't understand why he couldn't have a normal family, like other people. Why couldn't he have one father and one mother that loved each other very much? Cousins that were not either, scaredy-cats, happy-junkies or overly controlling? What spirit had he annoyed in the spirit world to deserve such a dysfunctional and weird family? Drake was okay, Justin wouldn't wish to lose his twin, but Daniel could be traded in for someone normal, Andy and Hazel too. He glared at Daniel, he was an annoyance at the best of times, he was so happy, without reason, it annoyed Justin to the limit, but he had to admit, he would rather have a conversation and lunch with Daniel than with Andy. SOmetimes he felt like picking Andy up and throwing him out of a window, he was so annoying! He was constantly going on about how horrible the world was, it made Justin depressed, his Ravenclaw cousin was just so depressing sometimes, at least Daniel didn't make him feel like the world hated him and wanted to get him, but Andy?It was a natural feeling. Than there was Hazel, words could not describ how much she irritated him, there were not enough words in any language that would be negative enough to describ his feelings for Hazel, she was even more annoying than Andy. "Daniel, to be honest, I don't care if this girl knows my name, or my relation to you." He explained. "Although I would have perferred you to not have actually admitted that I was related to you..." He added quietly, rolling his blue eyes. "But either way, you're coming with me." He finished, looking at the girl that Daniel was obviously annoying.

He felt sorry for her, how could she have resisted not shooting his cousin? He wouldn't have blame her, right now he felt like pushing Daniel off of his broom, it wouldn't be too hard, though knowing his luck, Daniel would be quick enough to grab his arm and pull him down also. Daniel was faster and stronger than him, it would be very simple to do. "I'm sorry if Daniel has been annoying you." He said, his face staying neutral, though he allowed his eyes to show his annoyance, it was too hot for him, and Daniel was radiating happiness, which was annoying him. A lot. "It's just he has this thing about befriending people.' He explained, tugging on Daniel's arm once again. "Now Daniel." He growled. He was going to drag Daniel to Hazel, she could deal with him, than he would probably go for a nap or a swim in the lake, he didn't want to hang out at the Quidditch Pitch anymore.
