Part Giant || Sioux Indian, Madlyn's Daddy CoMC Professor Years 3&4

Jackson morning ritual always got in the ways of things he would want to get started that day. Because he was in his typical morning routine he forgot today he be teaching his third year students. He did a quick chant to the sun and rush to meet his class near the forest. For a man his height to be rushing towards his students, almost just look like a part giant taking several steps and like magic he was there. Apologizing, he scratches the slight stubbles of hair shadowing lightly on the man’s face.
“My apologies for being late, I lost track of time and apparently the day” he heard a bit of chuckle when he arrived the usual ground meetings where his classes gather to hear Jackson teaching. “Now today I won’t be taking all of your time seeing the weather getting better and what better way than to start off enjoying it!” he said smiling. The weather changes were till new to him, north traveling and time changes made a heaps different. “Can anyone tell me what a Bowtruckle is?” he asked his students. Many deem lost, only a few raised their hand, picking one out of the bunch he waited for a reply.

“They’re known as tree guardian” replied the student.

“Well said, five points to your house” Jackson said smiling as he continued. “Bowtruckle are exactly what you heard. They are known to leap out of the tree and attack the ones trying to harvest the tree eyes. Bowtruckle are and about eight inches tall in height. They are twig like creatures that blend well with the barks of tree and eyes attached make it difficult to see them. If you’re not in any way threatening to harm their home, Bowtruckle could be left alone in peace feeding off insects. If by any chance you want to harvest a tree, an offering of woodlice can help you, giving you some time to work” he said as students listen on. They weren’t the greatest creature to talk about, but everyone one of them counted no matter what.

“The next creatures we will be talking about are fairies. Most of you who are muggelborn may have heard of them before” he said resting his arms right against his chest as he lectures on. “Though muggels have a different point of view of what fairies on. They betrayed them as small like human winged creatures: who live much like. Except it’s not all true. Fairies lack intelligence and are often used as decoration. Like Christmas times you’ll notice them on trees. Though they do have somewhat a human appearance, they have wings much like of an insects and making buzzing noise instead of speech. They are vain egg laying creatures, laying 50 eggs at a time. The eggs become larvae, the eggs forms into a cocoon. Overtime the cocoon sprouts open and reveals a fully grown fairy. It’s much like a butterfly in process, very interesting to observe” time had run out and Jackson was rather glad this lesson didn’t tediously lag on. “That will be all for today, enjoy the rest of your hours free of assignments” he smiled and went back to where he was finishing off his morning routine.
