To be frank, the LeBlanc household was buzzing with activity today. Caleb, Chloe's step-brother, had gotten his hands on Chloe's diary, and being the person he was, let everyone in the house know about her new relationship. Of course she was going to tell them eventually, but she hadn't planned on it so soon. But as a result, she was rushing around the house, running late and getting ready, all while getting bombarded with questions by her mother and father. It was such a distraction that she had tripped while trying to walk and get her shoes on at the same time. In truth she was now just fed up and wanted to get out of the house.

Staring into a mirror, she put on the last of her makeup and fixed her outfit. She had made sure to pick something that still made her look cute, but was functional enough to actually help out with moving things around. After all that was the whole point of her coming over. Chloe grabbed her bag and placed all the necessities in it, only giving a quick goodbye to her family before apparating over to the address that Ash had given her. Afterwards though, she felt terrible. She was never fond of that feeling, but it wasn't like she had any other way to get there. Shaking off the unpleasantness, she knocked on his door, smiling as she always did. In a little bit she'd feel back at one hundred percent, but for right now, her stomach was just getting butterflies. Then again, was it from the way she got there, or who she was going to see? Either situation could cause that, as much as she hated to admit that. Chloe liked to think of herself as independent, though it seemed that it lessened ever so slightly ever since Ash came into her life.
[ooc]Sorry for the shortness/rubbish. I'm exhausted. xD [/ooc]

Today was susposed to be a day of excitment, for two reasons. One, He was moving out of home, and into the world to strike out on his own. Two, because he was spending the day with Chloe again, something that never ceased to excite him. But as he stood on the landing to the second floor, watching the maids go about their business, he felt extremely nervous. Chloe would have to meet his parents today, because his mother had forbidden him to leave the house until she had met Chloe. Madam Richards wasn't a scary person, in fact, she was quite the opposite, but no one dared go against her word. Not even Ash's father. Ash had dressed casually, seeming as he would be doing quite a bit of heavy lifting, which didnt bother him. A sound dragged him from his inner thoughts. The knock on the door.

He raced down the stairs, skipping them two at a time, and made it to the door before one of the maids could. He pulled it open, knowing who it was instantly because he had the same warm feeling in him he always got when Chloe was around. He beamed at her, pulling her in for a hug,and briefly kissed her on the lips because he heard a faked cough. He sighed to himself, turning anf taking Chloe's hand. "Mother, this is Chloe LaBlanc. Chloe, this is my mother, Madam Richards." he introduced, and watched his mother approach and study his girlfriend. His mother was dressed in her formal wear, being what was classified as a noble in the muggle world. His parents werent scared by magical people. But they werent at all comfortable with them, not even Ash sometimes. 'How do you do, Chloe?' Madam Richards asked, holding out a silk-gloved hand.

Chloe grinned and hugged Ash back, but tried to keep calm when she heard that cough. Though unlike most she wasn't flustered or nervous at the sight of a parent. Sure, they were important, but she knew how to act in front of people she didn't know or people that she did know. Plus, Ash's mother wasn't intimidating or scary-looking. She just looked like someone that could dress herself well. "It's nice to meet you, Madam Richards. Thank you for having me in your home." The blonde made sure to make eye contact and keep smiling, posture perfectly straight as she shook the woman's hand. Rules of etiquette such as this were programmed into her head through years of practice, and it seemed as if they weren't going to leave for some time. It was important to act a certain way around some people, and then act another way around others.

After all, the girl had two modes. There was one for friends, the crazy and adventurous girl, and then there was a polite and self-assured girl for adults and strangers. Eventually the two blended when she was comfortable with someone, but today was all about impressions. Chloe just smiled, studied Ash's mother and quite frankly, realized that good looks must have been running in the family. She wouldn't ever say that, for the sake of saving things from getting awkward very quickly, but she could at least think that. Plus this would probably go more smoothly compared to when Ash would meet her parents. In comparison of their mothers, Ash's seemed a lot more kinder at a first glance. Her mother was quite distrusting, not to mention hypercritical of every acute detail about someone. It was frustrating of course, but you couldn't ever change family. Chloe's family was no exception to that, even if she wanted otherwise.

The nervous feeling Ash had been experiencing was nearly as bursting point as he watched his mother observe every inch of Chloe, both physically, and no doubt meauring her verbal responses. Madam Richards wasnt a mean woman, but reaching people, and what they were like, was her life. Ever the life of a noble. Ash couldnt help letting a smile spread across his face when Chloe answered. He didnt know what he had expected, but she had nailed it perfectly, and the look on Madam Richards face said that as well. There was now a polite smile, which if studied enough was actual liking. She had never really liked any of Ash's girlfriends, as they had failed to follow proper manners and etiquitte. But this one, this one she liked.

Ash squeezed her hand, before letting it go and wrapping an arm around Chloe's waist. 'Ah, Ash. Finally a woman who knows how to use her manners, and obviously has a quick tounge too. She's a keeper.' smiled the Madam. She turned to leave, and stopped, turning her head. 'You make sure you keep this one on a leash, my dear. He sometimes needs a good wipping.' she said, dropping her serious facade for a moment, and winking at Chloe before leaving. Ash was somewhat horrified, and after shaking his head unapprovingly at his mother, courted Chloe up stairs and into his room. "I apologise for that..." he said, red in the cheeks.

Chloe gave a polite nod at the woman exiting, smiling a little more playfully than before. It seemed that this woman was actually quite pleasant. "I'll make sure to keep him in check, madam." And most likely, she would make good on that statement. Chloe was never one to be pushed around, well, besides by her parents. But when it came to boys and her brother, she wouldn't stand for anything that they did that wasn't to her liking. Sure it came off as high standards or even spoiled, but for that given moment that wasn't crossing her mind. It seemed that she was being taken up a flight of stairs and into another room, and when she realized why, a giggle escaped her lips. Seeing Ash embarrassed was just funny in itself. After all from the night they had met, he had seemed quite smooth.

"I love your mother." She snickered, shutting his door quietly and then hugging him. She had missed him a lot, and even through her stomach flips she had managed to show him just that. After all, in school, she hadn't seen many people, let alone him. "How have you been? Behaving when I'm not around?" At the same time she rubbed his cheeks, smirking a little at the stubble, but just trying to push the blush away from his skin. For some reason she had a feeling that he wasn't exactly comfortable with seeming embarrassed. Most boys weren't okay with that, anyway.

Ash chuckled as Chloe fell into his arms, and he hugged her, squeezing her for a few seconds, hugging her tight, and then let his grip go slightly, but not letting her go completely. He kissed her gently on the lips, and pulled a sour face when she rubbed his cheeks, jokingly looking distraught. "Mother is good, but in small doses." He replied, grinning as he raised a hand to stroke her cheek with his thumb. He had missed Chloe a great deal, even though they hadnt been appart long. "I have been, to an extent. You know that me and trouble go hand in hand." he said, smirking as he pulled her up of the ground, cradling her in his arms, and walked over to the armchair by the window. He sat, keeping her curled up on his knee, and kissed her on the forehead. "How have you been?" he asked, playing with a few of her golden locks of hair.

Chloe smiled and rested on his chest, breathing slow and quite relaxed. She had missed the nice times like this, just relaxing and enjoying the other's company had steadfastly become a past-time for her. During times of stress, like now, it was a great getaway. She smiled up at him and shrugged. "Well, I've been doing alright. I met a couple new friends- Do you know Amelia Johnson or something like that? I met her cousin Jack. He's quite the interesting fellow." That was such a true statement that Chloe had to laugh a little. After all Jack seemed like such a sweet guy, but she could tell that he had some quirks about him. Though when you were alone in a cafe and bored out of your mind, it wasn't like you could pick your company. "Oh and my brother kind of told my whole family about you." It seemed that the girl had so much to say, so much that her sentences were all over the place.

Ash nodded to her. He knew Amelia. Her being part-veela had most of the boys in school hypnotized, but Ash was smarter than that, and keptclear of her. He had Chloe, and dint need any other distraction. He hadnt, however, known she had a cousin. A spike of jealousy burst through Ash when she mentioned Jack, and it confused Ash. I was jealousy spiked with a sense of protectiveness of Chloe. She was with Ash now, and as long as she was just friends with this boy, Ash wasnt worried, though it didnt stop him from grimancing softly. When she mentioned her family, Ash swolled hard. He had heard alot about her parents, and he was worried. "Ah... So how long until i meet them?" he said, guessing they would want to interrogate him.

Chloe looked at him, frowning when she noticed the grimace. After all the one thing that she was clueless about completely was jealousy that boys felt more often than not when it came to her. She didn't see reasons to be jealous, and so she never thought that they did either. "What's the matter, babe?" Her tone got soft, less confident and more on the comforting side, afraid she had done or said something wrong. This tone was held constant when he asked about her family, and she just sighed and shrugged. "Whenever you want, I suppose. Probably at my graduation party or something along the lines of that." She wasn't going to feed him false hope that her family would look kindly on him at a first glance, that would probably never happen and if it did it would be nothing short of a miracle.

Ash sighed and shook his head, knowing she had caught his grimance. He didnt want to seem like the jealous, controlling boyfriend so he didnt want to say to much, but did allow himself one comment, hoping it wasnt too much. "Nothing... Jack just better keep within his boundaries." he said, smiling softly as he kissed her. 'Or i might just have to show what a muggleborn can do when pissed off." he thought, smiling to himself as he pulled back. When she didnt show a positive attitude towards him meetin her parents, he chuckled and played with her hair. "No matter how they feel about me, i'll still love you." he said, admiring her beauty. He was truly a lucky man. "So... How come im just hearing about this party?" he asked with a smirk. "Not planning on inviting me?" he added.

"Jack actually has a girlfriend, I do believe." Chloe mused, smiling and kissing him back, then getting up and getting her bag. It was in that moment that she realized what a great relationship they had, compared to most. Even if it was early on in the relationship, they didn't fight at all. "Plus he doesn't even come close to you, he's too..." She searched her mind for a word. "He's too much of a pretty boy. You know what I mean?" She fished around in her purse for a long while, looking in all the pockets and compartments both inside and out. One of her fatal flaws was that she was never organised, as hard as she tried to be. There was her lipstick, her keys, her emergency first aide kit for when she got too lazy to attempt a healing spell... And yet she couldn't find what she was looking for. "I love you too, silly. And yes you're invited I just need to find the gosh darn invitation- Ugh accio invitation!" And like that it was in her hand. It was white with a lace trim, had black script with all the information, and finally, a powder blue ribbon placed perfectly on top. In truth, it was the perfect invitation in comparison to Chloe. With that, she returned to Ash and gave him the paper, smiling. "You'll meet my parents then."

Ash watched her as she got up and rummaged through her bag. He smiled to himself, feeling better now that he knew this Jack guy had girlfriend, though he wasnt completely satisfied. He knew alot of guys that cheat. He pulled a hurt expression at her attempt to reassure him. "So im not pretty huh?" he said, faking that his feelings were hurt, and chuckling a few seconds later to show he was joking. He took the invitation and placed it in one of the many full boxes that filled his room. "Cant wait." he said, grinning at her. Little did he know they were having the same thoughts about their relationship.

Chloe hummed to herself and grinned, taking a little bit of Ash's hair between her fingers and playing with it. "Psh, he's just half-veela, or a quarter, something like that. And you're not pretty." She gave a pause just to see his reaction. "You're handsome like a man should be." This was true. To Chloe Ash could have been a full veela, just for the feelings that she felt for him. In her opinion he was just as stunning as one. "Me neither." Okay that was a half-lie. As much as she loved him, she wasn't sure if her parents would be just as eager with him. It wasn't that there was anything wrong with him, but Chloe's parents never liked anyone she brought home.

Ash grinned when she played with his hair, and he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into his arms. He let his hands slowly slide down her body as he watched her, and laughed softly, his voice gentle, when she said he was handsome. "Well im glad that you think so." he teased, slapping her on the bum softly, smirking at her playfully. They had only been a couple little over a week, and so far, their relationship had been anything but physical. He wasnt sure if he should test those boundaries today, and deciding to see how comfortable Chloe was with him, rested his hands on her bum. "We're two weeks away from graduation... Have you thought any more on us? On what will happen when we leave school?" he asked curiously. He had been thinking about them every minute since they had gotten together, and it stressed him out not knowing what the future held.

Chloe let out a squeak at the contact, but didn't ask him to move. She was okay with it, but it seemed to be forever from when she had been touched like that by someone. It made her nervous, but also happy. "Eh, I don't really think too far into the future, sometimes it scares me. Why? Have you been thinking about anything?" In truth she had just thought of the usual things a teenage girl would, the ideal life with an ideal husband and all of the wonders that came along with it. But really there were no specifics as of yet. "And I know graduation is coming in two weeks and that makes my stomach sick.." She admitted, giggling softly and looking up at him with her blue eyes that, at times, seemed more grey than blue or vise-versa depending on the lighting of the room. She just lent on him again, biting her lip and wondering if he had come up with anything.
