Clemence felt Grande look down at her and smiled and she blushed, knowing that he was assuming things that weren't there. They had only met and they could barely understand each other's first language. But then again, he seemed like a good person even if he had questionable friends, or at least a questionable friend. She looked up at him and she nervously grinned, well to Sebastian it seemed like a normal grin but to her best friend of a few years, he knew what she was silently admitting. "More concerned then excited," Clemence answered as she looked back at Sebastian. She listened to Grande and nodded in agreement before quirking a thin eyebrow at Sebastian as if to ask if he could understand them, knowing that he would likely have trouble as English was his strong suit. |

Sebastian struggled to translate the quick French as Grande spoke. He understood most of it, but it took him a while to figure out exactly what Grande was saying. He was grateful when Grande told him that he spoke English and offered to translate and then complimented his French. He'd worked hard over the summer to try and increase his vocabulary because he had struggled during fifth year. If it hadn't been for Trilby's help, he'd probably have done much worse in his classes than he had. "Thanks" he said, feeling more at ease around Grande by the moment. "But I'm enjoying the practice. And speaking in French is the only way I'll get better." he said in English. He was grateful to come across someone else who spoke English well enough to communicate with him. Some of his classmates had made fun of him for not being able to speak the language well, which had only motivated him to want to learn the language faster. Now though, he might have another reason for wanting to improve his French. Smiling back at Clemence, Sebastian thought for a moment and then said, "They should be fine. They are champions for a reason, right?" He knew that the challenge was likely to be tough because it was the first one and would set the standard for what the champions needed to expect. |

Cynthia had arrived late, who knew that getting a ticket to this thing would be so difficult! but after showing her press badge and getting in contact with the right people here she was, the only Reporter for New Zealand granted an exclusive to the Tri-Wizard Tournament that was being held in France, she would definitely have to use this opportunity to explore a bit while she was here, though she didn't know where 'here' was. Not that she cared as her Flashy Flash Filmer and Quick Quotes Quill quickly got to work taking pictures and writing down every little word that was being said as far as what the three champions were doing anyways. "I hope someone get's injured or better!" Cynthia said with a slight squeal just thinking about what a great article that would make putting her name back in people's minds since you really were only as good as your last article and it seemed to have been ages since she had written one that got the wizarding world turning their small heads towards her. "Let's go... Bad Things!" Cynthia called out deciding that she really didn't care who won as long as she got a good story. Turning towards her quill she quickly smiled "scratch that last bit" Cynthia said as she turned back towards the action. |

Link had a very low tolerance of being around those he didn't know. But this phobia wasn't going to keep him away from the tournament. Despite not being chosen he was still curious as though what may have been if he was the one picked to represent a school he barely know of, it made a lot sense if you see it from someone else prospective. Why he didn't get picked? Who would want a champion that didn't even knowledge he was from Hogwarts. But that was something he couldn't hide, everyone knew the cold, arrogant boy was from Hogwarts, the boy that neither say nay or hey to anyone that even tried to associate with him. Only one was able to get a few spoken words, but that was just Link trying to put the fear in that Ravenclaw girl. Their encounter had happen briefly, the same day they had arrived. Link sauntered towards the stands, one near the Hogwarts flag. He stood alone, but in the first row were he manage to get a good view of the whole tournament. His hands would collied along the railing as he watched Hogwarts champion began his first task. The champions had disappeared into the forest, simply away from the public view. Link cussed, finding to be a waste of time, but no matters. He stood watching either way, his Gray iris scanning for any activity emerging from the forest. Link set his high hopes for some action, anything brutal would be kind of nice. |

Trilby had been writing a letter to Xavier, enjoying the peace and quiet of her dorm for a change. Everyone was making their way to the stands and the champions tents, so she knew she had plenty of time. It wasn't really that she wasn't interested but she had yet to receive any letter from her boyfriend and it irked her greatly. Feeling as if he was no longer interested in her because a few thousand miles seperated them meant it was a hard letter to write. She kept it light and airy has much as she possibly could, the very thought of being called a nag prevented her from asking why he hadn't written to her so far. With the letter sent she made her way to the spectators stands and was glad she hadn't really missed much at all. The weighing of the wands seemed like a huge deal really and she watched in awe as she made her way along the benches to take a seat. Glancing further down she saw Clemence and Sebastian chatting cosily with one another and hastily turned away, sitting down suddenly where she was. Knowing very few of the people that were cloistered around her. She stared down at the ceremony as each champion went forward to get their wands weighted. |

Delilah had been rather excited when she heard there was to be a Tri-Wizard Tournament. Not really because of the actual competition, but more for the attention it would bring to the school. Hopefully, it would put some pressure on the government to fix some of the things wrong with the area. She thought it was the perfect opportunity to spread awareness of some causes that she was passionate about. In fact, Delilah had planned a protest with some friends, but of course they had flaked out on her at the last minute. However, she had decided to just attend the Tournament anyway. No protesting, no disrupting, just going to watch. Now, Delilah found her self edging through the crowded Beauxbatons stands, in search of a free seat. She was able to find one fairly quickly, and sat down next to a small group of people she recognised vaguely from class, but didn't really know. Sighing to herself, Delilah dumped her bag (covered in political pins such as 'Society for Distressed Witches', 'Campaign for Greater Freedom for Wizards', 'Society for the Support of Squibs', etc) on the seat next to her, and turned her attention to the competition below. |

Lady of Flowers | VI - The Lovers | Part-Veela

Emmanuelle was out in the stands for the Tri-Wizard Tournament, ready to cheer on the champion. Truthfully, she had no idea who Aubrey was, or even what on earth was going to happen, but she supposed she ought to go cheer on the girl and support Beauxbatons in the cup. As far as she knew, there was something with Veelas. Sometimes she felt like Veelas were nothing more than animals for people's amusement, and that hurt her a lot because she was part-Veela, and naturally, fairly pretty, but so much more than amusement. People like her mother, who was a half-Veela, or the half-sister she'd just learnt about, seemed to use their blood for her own amusement, ensnaring various men (how else would she, herself be around? It wasn't like Evangeline Leroy had ever had a mind to settle down with anybody), but Emmanuelle tried to ignore it. She wasn't a pretty plaything, she was just the same as anybody else. Albeit a little 'out there'. For today, Emmanuelle was dressed in her standard Beauxbatons uniform - except with a silvery-blue top hat on her head, and matching tights. It was fairly conservative for her standards, but she'd get more outlandish as the tournament went on, she was sure. It wasn't as though she was trying to draw attention to herself, she just liked to be a little out-there in her fashion. Humming to herself, Emmanuelle opened her book - she was reading Le Petit Prince yet again, it was one of her favourite books - and focused on that, occaisionally looking up to see what was going on. Not that it really mattered, it was hard to see anyway. Especially with the hat falling down and obscuring her vision. |

He sat on the back bench watching everything unfold and hated to admit it but quite fancied Morrigan winning. He certainly wasn't going to say it aloud, it would be like treason. He knew their own champion was not to be underestimated but he had taken a wee shine to Moko when they had met. She was feisty and unpredictable, if the rumors abounding the school were true and Veela's were really inside the forest then it was they who would have to look out for her and not the other way around. He settled himself back to enjoy the proceedings, glad that they had a decent turn out at least. |

Just when Judy thought that she had gotten away from Hogwarts, Hogwarts follows her here in the form of a Tri Wizard Tornament. It didn't matter much though. Judy was practily unknown at Hogwarts and the people that had come here were sure not to remember her. She had a Beauxbatons banner in her right hand and was waiting for Aubrey to win. She seemed like a cool girl. Even the Head Boy was there cheering on thier school. Things where better for Judy here at Beauxbatons. There where still bullies here but Judy knew how to deal with them better now that she had gone through what Aleyah had put her through. She was braver. Judy took another look at the Head Boy before looking back the field. She had a silly little crush on him though she knew that it would never happen. She was too young and silly. |

Dihlana rarely go to school events, but this one was probably the biggest event in her life. She was the first witch in her family (from what she know of), and knew she couldn't miss it. Walking towards the stands wearing a parka robed across her small form, the autumn weather was finally taking effect all around them. Dihlana looked around for a seat, while rubbing her arms. Luckily it was only a light breeze flowing pass them, and nothing major that would cause Dihlana to huddle standing up if she didn't find a seat. Dihlana stood on her tiptoes and there in the far end of the stand was a row emptied, a seat calling for her name. Dihlana strolled around the stands and sat down as she witness the second half the first event continue to unfold. You couldn't see much, but she was excited to be here. Dihlana couldn't wait to write to her mother and father in Dubia. |
