Having a day off from teaching was a welcome event, one which Vaughn intended to savour every moment of. He enjoyed teaching, immensely, but with the examinations due; a day of relaxation was certainly much better. Choosing to wake early, before sun-rise, the transfiguration professor slipped out of his night-ware; and took a hot; steam-filled shower, to help with waking fully. After his shower, Vaughn took a walk into the local town; and to a small coffee shop, which remained open all hours of the day. Serving some of the tastiest buns ever made, it had quickly become one of his favourite places to eat breakfast. Apparating back to his pent-house after eating, Vaughn began to think of the day ahead. It made little sense to sit around if he had twenty-four hours off from the world. Moving towards the large window, the professor caught sight of a bill-board advertising cheap flights for two to Egypt. Smiling, Vaughn summoned his jacket. "Egypt seems perfect.", he said; before a crack echoed through the room. Setting down in England, the middle-aged wizard planned to take Raisa with him; which would be a surprise for her. Remembering the location of where she worked, Vaughn set off at a steady pace. With the difference in time-zones only being two hours, he was sure she would be at work by this time. Assuming the lady would be able to take the day off herself, the professor eventually found the dress store he needed. As he moved towards the building, Vaughn paused for a moment. He had spotted the curvaceous woman in the window. Remaining where he stood, he couldn't help but watch her lay out various dresses for the display. |

Raisa absolutely despised having to wake up in around three in the morning. She had recently taken down another mudblood in Russia, and having to travel all over Europe and Asia were taking a toll on the woman. Raisa wakened to the sound of a magical alarm clock, and she stood up from her bed. An icy glare at it, she smashed it with a wandless spell. It would be repaired by a slave of an elf sooner or later. Gliding across her room in the Zhefarovich Manor, she crossed the hall to take a bath, one that would relax the witch. After she smelt of white jasmine and her hair was as clean as ever, she got dressed in a gorgeous designer dress. After all, she would be heading to her dress shop, it was only custom that she dressed as nicely as the dresses she sold were. Asparuh seemed to not be home, and Raisa wondered where was her accursed brother. Would he just leave her and Rayna in the Manor, alone? It seemed so. They both were raised by the best, and could hold up on their own. Raisa could have slapped her sister for wishing to get pregnant again. Why would anyone want a child that spits up, cries and is an all around nuisance? Raisa had never married nor bore children. She had lovers, many in her days, but most were dead before two weeks. Raisa seemed to get bored easily, until now. She pulled one of her wands from the strap on her leg, and she hid the Dark Mark on her arm, showing only bare, beautiful skin. With a loud pop, Raisa found herself surrounded by elegant dresses. It was time to open up the store as well. With waves of her slender hand, everything started to open. However, going into the back room, she retrieved a new dress and the silk felt amazing on her bare skin, much like her own dress. Her hair flowed about her, as she glided over to the window where she put the dress on display. It only took a moment, but the Death Eater felt eyes upon her as she put on a red dress on display. Her head turned to see none other than Vaughn watching her. Raisa glanced over with her onyx eyes to see two workers entering the store. Raisa's cold demeanor always kept them on the best of behavior. With a soft smile, and her iciness lessened, Raisa walked around the displays, and she exited the store. Raisa inquired, her usually icy voice laced with delicacy and grace, "To what do I owe the honor of having you come, Vaughn? Looking for a dress for a mistress perhaps?" Raisa's pink lips curled into a teasing smirk. Her hands were now on her hips, as her eyes asked the questions her voice did not speak. She was curious; why was he here? |

One thing Vaughn knew was the woman had taste. Each of the dresses in the window where as beautiful as the one she was wearing, if not a little less. Spotting the long; silk looking dress the witch hung on display, the middle-aged wizard began to picture the material sliding smoothly across the woman's curves. After a brief moment, the professor re-gained his senses as Raisa turned her head to look directly towards him; her smile the only thing he now focused upon. Watching her move around the displays and leave the store, Vaughn thought about taking her hand and apparating then and there. He knew better however, as the woman had a shifting demeanour he wasn't about to test. As she neared him, the professor was met with a scent of flowers; a scent not too over-powering. The woman's graceful words brushed softly against his ears, as her lips took the shape of a smirk. "Indeed I may be..", Vaughn smiled, "..but until that mistress makes herself known, what say you close a little early today? Now, perhaps?". The wizard's eyes soaked up the vision of Raisa as she stood elegantly before him. He had spent time with other women, mostly on his travels, but only a few had skin of such beauty. With her hands now placed up-on her hips, and her eyes seemingly boring into him; Vaughn began to feel the difference to most other woman. This one had a persona about her; one that interested him in every way. |

Never had Raisa ever been so interested in any male like she had with Vaughn. There was something about him that made Raisa not want to bury alive in the dirt after disposing of the poor man's soul. This was rare; Raisa was not the kind to keep someone around or associate with men for so long, a few days max. However, this man was a different story, for Raisa had no idea how long she would keep him around and living. Oh the days of killing men came back in the Death Eater's mind. The sounds of their screaming, the pleas that attempted to make Raisa pity them, all of that was just so delightful. Yet Vaughn's pleas and or his screaming would not be as delightful to hear, not as of right now though. She would have to see what was so special about this wizard before coming to the ultimate decision; to kill or to spare. Though his words caused her smile to falter. Close her shop for unknown reasons for a whole day? Raisa frowned, "Why would I close my shop, right now and lose some business for reasons not even I know?" However, it was that smile that made Raisa double-think on her words. "Perhaps I could inquire one of my associates to fetch my twin to watch the shop for me." Raisa though did not feel the need to ask why he seemed to want the shop closed unless he was wanting her in particular. This thought made Raisa smile once more, and it lit up the onyx colored eyes. Raisa had to keep in mind though, she could never be violent with Vaughn. She had to ensure that her Death Eater status was well hidden. |

It could be said that Vaughn liked a challenge, and when it came to women; nothing was more appealing than those not willing to reveal everything within the first few minutes. More often than not, the professor knew very little about the women he dated; and Raisa was no exception. At first glance, she seemed to be someone who could stand up with the best of them; and possibly come out on top. At a closer look, her emotions where in her eyes. Dark eyes that would appear cold on several occasions, and could send shivers through anyone's spine. As the two stood out-side the shop, Vaughn thought very little to the small amount of coldness Raisa may have shown. If it was her way of placing a barrier between her and the men she met, then he wasn't about to rush through it and possibly hurt her. Often the one to end up hurt himself, or left looking the fool, Vaughn knew one of his weaknesses was giving others a second chance. Watching Raisa's features, the middle-aged wizard saw the frown appear; and began to think of ways to whisk her swiftly away with-out causing her to anger. It seemed anger had appeared quicker than he had anticipated, as the woman's words ran across his ears. Before he had an opportunity to respond, Raisa spoke again. At the mention of her twin, Vaughn's memory came into play. He had been pleasantly surprised when he had first been informed, and couldn't help but think such beauty needed to be spread. Seeing the woman's eyes light up, Vaughn wondered if she had realised why he was there. He had little reason for buying a dress. "Causing you to lose business was not my intention. Maybe your sister could run the store for the day, whilst we head to Egypt.". Vaughn fully intended to take her with him, whether or not the store remained open. |

Raisa glanced over at the store assistants, and she murmured, “I know my sister will be out here in a few moments; if you will excuse me, I must tell my associates that I will not be there for the remainder of the day.” Raisa would also need to retrieve her bag and maybe a thin jacket to cover her arms whilst on the trip to Egypt. It was definitely a spur of the moment trip, and though Raisa would have strongly preferred that she would have been notified at least a few days before hand to prepare herself for such a journey, then everything would be just fine. Raisa approached the counter and called for her associate. Upon hearing the plans, the associate nodded and Raisa retrieved her belongings from the back room. Holding the things she needed, which was a jacket and her pocket book, Raisa gracefully smiled at Vaughn and she stated calmly, successfully hiding her stimulation, “I believe that we are ready to depart. My twin will show up sooner or later…” Until that time came, her associates would run the store. If anything went wrong, Raisa would hold her associates responsible and deal with them appropriately. Raisa extended her hand toward Vaughn, and she inquired suggestively, “Shall we be on our way?” |

Many other females would have given a wide-eyed look, and took a deep breath in shock, at being whisked away to another country on the spur of the moment. This one, however, simply brushed his words aside as if she already knew about the day. As she spoke, Vaughn smiled; rather pleased that she had agreed to join him. Nodding slightly, the professor remained out-side the store as Raisa then went to speak with her associates. When she returned, Vaughn watched her, a display of perfection and grace, as she instructed him she was ready to participate in his plans. His plans, however, only reached as far as the Pyramids. Being a spur of the moment decision, it was un-known what would happen once they arrived. Noticing that the woman's jacket was thinner than his dark leather one, Vaughn realised he had hastily left his pent-house with an item of clothing un-fit for the heat. Reaching his own hand for Raisa's, Vaughn responded to her seemingly suggestive question. "Most certainly.". His words had barely reached the air around them, as the sound of apparation replaced the figures whom had previously stood out-side the shop. ( ).Once the two had landed at their destination, Vaughn turned his head towards Raisa. "Welcome to Egypt.". With the sun sat un-disturbed by cloud cover, the temperature here was greater than that of England. Skilled in the art of Transfiguration, the professor removed his jacket; before casting a charm to allow it the ability of cooling him down. Wearing a personal cooling system would be just right in the Egyptian heat. |

Hand-in-hand, Raisa felt the familiar uncomfortable sensation of being apparated to another place, though this certain apparation Raisa would enjoy the result from it. It had been a while since she even side-along apparated but nonetheless, Raisa would keep her pride inside, and enjoy the day off with Vaughn. It would be much more enjoyable than an afternoon with a bunch of griping customers and those who were unworthy to even set a foot in her shop. So much nonsense could be carried out within a store, and this was a great relief for the blonde Death Eater. No, she would not have to kill anyone today, and that made Raisa both joyed and disappointed at the same time. The heat washed over Raisa, and she - out of instinct - took off her jacket and allowed the sun to dance off her smooth skin. She felt amazingly warm and just comfortable while wearing her thin, silk dress and revealing much of her skin. Raisa looked positively radiant. The welcome was warm as well, and she glanced over at the man who was thoughtful enough to rescue Raisa from a day of attempting not to kill someone. A smile formed, and she said, "It looks great..." Her voice was soft and lacked the ice it usually had, as though Egypt warmed her cold heart - if that was even possible. Her onyx eyes gazed over everything. The culture was diverse from her own, but she could careless. If anyone said anything to her about the way she was, she would shoot out a spell with either of her wands, and that person would never speak again. Raisa inquired Vaughn, "So, shall we go on a tour?" Raisa had been to Egypt on numerous occasions, but she had never stopped and paid attention to everything around her. The history was rich, and the atmosphere was just to die for. Raisa knew that she would solely enjoy the day, perhaps more than she realized. She had the darkness and the thirst for blood inside her, but she knew how to keep that contained. The only way that could be released was a mudblood coming and ruining her day - which probably would not happen. |

I 'awww'ed with every sentence. ![]() As his eyes once again took in the vision of Raisa Zhefarovich, Vaughn watched the light of the sun reflect from her skin; which broke free from the dress she had chosen to wear that day. The woman's soft words brushed his ears, and he smiled with her. Egypt was a beautiful country. The city of Ciaro had been modernised, but the Egyptian culture remained. After a moment, the just as beautiful woman placed forward the idea of a tour; to which Vaughn agreed. He had been to this country on his travels before, so knew a small amount about its culture; and the inhabitants. "We could take a walk through the city. And towards the Pyramids perhaps?". The professor questioned his companion. There where numerous market-places; shopping quarters; restaurants; and clubs to be seen in the city that the two could have a relaxing walk before exploring the Pyramids in greater detail. It was widely known that the great structures held various hidden rooms. Rooms that muggles would never see; and which drew a curious wizard in with little effort. At twenty-three degrees Celsius, the heat from the sun continued to beam down upon the pair. Vaughn new it would likely take its effect on their hydration, so squeezing in a stop at one of the restaurants wouldn't be a bad idea. Having a guide for the day would be rather annoying, so the Transfiguration professor, after checking the area was clear of watching eyes, summoned a map; guide book; and a pair of spectacles. He held little need for the objects, however, as he placed the glasses on and un-folded the map. "Let's see now. Pyramids.", Vaughn spoke in a guide-like voice; with the map held up-side down. He had every intention of causing Raisa to laugh. |

Aww, he is trying to make her laugh. He is adorable!Raisa made sure that the clasp which rested behind her head to hold the hair out of her glorious face was tight and fastened securely, before her eyes landed on Vaughn once more. She also took a sneak peak at her arm, making sure that the Mark was still invisible. If she were to dare wear what she is now, with her mark showing, she would be in Azkaban faster than someone can say, ‘Death Eater!’ A trip to that filthy prison was not in Raisa’s schedule, and being surrounded by filthy people not worthy to be in this pure-blood’s presence. Raisa had more decency than to hang around those that were just not worth the effort. The question floated around in Raisa’s mind for a moment, having her thoughts distracted by the constant worry of her disguise blown, before she firmly grasped it. Raisa nodded slowly, her voice unstrained by her stress and covered by bliss, “That sounds lovely.” The heat might make them a little light-headed, but Raisa wouldn’t care. Her pride was far too high for that. The Pyramids sounded so lovely right now. The huge structures that held bodies wrapped for preservation and also those who wrapped up children and cats as well. All so gruesome and almost cruel; it sparked Raisa’s interest and she could feel the adrenaline running beneath her skin. Raisa’s cold gaze landed on Vaughn once more, to see him summon a few items of little importance to the Death Eater. Raisa did not see this as thievery but more or less saving someone’s life for boring the pair to death, something that Raisa would not tolerate. As mentioned before, nothing will ruin her day off. The voice made Raisa gently smile, but she thought that the map looked a little odd. The words were upside-down, for starters. Raisa shook her head playfully, but with movements as graceful as a feline, her hand on his shoulder, as her other hand pointed at the pictures. “Oh Vaughn, I do believe that the map is upside down. We could end up in the Nile, and I am afraid I did not bring proper attire for such an event,” her voice silky as it flowed from her lips. One could mistake her attitude as someone being seductive, with the manner of which her hand grasped his shoulder, and the purring of her voice. Stepping from Vaughn, Raisa laughed softly, and she stated, “You are far more entertaining than a boring tour guide.” |

With Raisa having agreed to the plans for the day, Vaughn continued to scan the map; pretending to be captivated by all it had to show. Feeling a little pressure upon his shoulder, the professor glanced to the side; catching the woman shaking her head slightly. The seductive sounds of her voice purred across his ears, as she pointed at images on the map. The middle-aged man began to wonder what might just happen between the two, with the heat; their actions; and the woman's dress, if it could still be classed as such an item; which had spent half of its time drawing his gaze across her revealed body, all adding to the thoughts running through his mind. "You seem to have foiled my master plan of a quick dip.", Vaughn joked. Laughter escaped him momentarily. With the air in-side the Pyramids being higher in temperature than that of the out-side, a nice cool swim in the evening could have been a good way to end their time together. Smiling at her words, Vaughn new the woman wouldn't be too difficult to get along with; un-like many other women he had met. Being entertaining was the angle he was aiming for. Being bored by a rambling old fool, whom would likely spend his entire time staring at the goddess he was guiding, was not. Not having need for the summoned items any further, Vaughn placed them against a large stone. Someone else could likely have use for them. Starting to walk, the professor smiled; indicating for his companion to walk with him. Having apparated into a quiet area on the out-skirts of the city, the two had a short walk ahead of them to reach the inner areas; and before reaching the Pyramids themselves. They could of course apparate again, but why waste such beautiful surroundings. "It is certainly a beautiful country.". Vaughn eyes took in the views around them. Everything seemed to be rather peaceful too. |

Only Merlin knew what was in store for the two magical beings, one descending from a powerful family which it is a miracle that she had not spawned two through five kids already and another who was a master of Transfiguration. Though with the way Raisa was feeling, with the adrenaline pumping in her veins, and her thoughts going astray, there was no telling what she was wanting to do for today. Perhaps there was a good reason why Raisa chose this particular and revealing dress today. She went with her mind and her heart on what she chose to wear, and why this dress, perhaps she expecting a nice day off of work with a relaxing and charming man. Raisa did not mind that she was just a couple years older than he. Her older brother had chosen a maiden which was younger than herself, and he was almost three decades older than she. “Oh, but there is still a way we can fix that, but I would prefer to swim in a suitable suit than with nothing at all,” Raisa spoke in a soft voice, and her eyes sparked with a hint of mischievousness. Raisa would not lower herself to that without a perfectly good reason. Once the professor started to walk, Raisa followed at his side. Apparating seemed much too quick-paced for her. The surroundings that she was taking in would be missed if she just apparated to the pyramids. Raisa agreed, “Indeed it is. I must ask, though, do you have any intentions of venturing inside the pyramids?” Raisa however did; whether it was against the law or not. Since when did Death Eaters obey laws anyhow? |

Listening to Raisa's soft voice gave Vaughn reason to place her in a different group to everyone else he had ever spent time with. She wasn't constantly talking; or giggling at pointless facts; or complaining about herself or ex-boyfriends. She seemed to be much more reserved. More.. respectable. As she spoke, the middle-aged man couldn't help but see an image of her seductively walking out of the sea; revealing herself to not be wearing any attire. Her eyes performed little to remove the image from his mind. As the two continued to walk, taking in the glorious surroundings, Vaughn listened to Raisa's enquiry. He certainly had every intention of viewing the in-sides of the Pyramids. "But of course.", he responded. "There are often muggle tours in-side..", Vaughn paused slightly; looking for any hint of mischief. "..but I think we should view the more private areas. The ones no-one has ever stepped into before.". The professor hoped she would be interested. There was very little way they could ever be caught. - - - After much time sight-seeing; shopping; and a small bite to eat, the travellers eventually found themselves close to the giant structures they had set out to see. Each one painstakingly hand built. "Shall we go in?". Vaughn's smile reflected his state of happiness as he held out a hand for Raisa. He had no idea what they would find in-side the tombs, or even where they would end up. Being stuck between walls would not be a fun afternoon. I was sooooooo tempted to use Oh look! *points* Pyramids.

Raisa was almost thankful that he didn’t plead nor beg to go take a swim without any clothing. Raisa would have gotten just a bit angry then, and wondered if this was why she chose to hang around him so much. He did not do anything out of her standards. “Oh the more private areas would be highly entertaining.” Going into places that just did not have any muggles in there before, it was just rejuvenating. Raisa simply adored forbidden places, and she would cherish today with all of her being. Perhaps she would get something out of it, like take home a mummy or some ancient treasure. Cursed or no, Raisa would not care. -- The day was awfully exciting. Raisa did not speak too much, or too less. She smiled the majority of the time, which was rare for the Death Eater. As long as her disguise remained intact, but now she wasn’t sure how this man would react to her being a cold-hearted killer. Raisa glanced up at the pyramids, wondering how in the world someone could build this without magic – unless it was done with magic and it was left out in the muggle world? Raisa could not wait to venture inside that marvelous building, and when he asked the question, Raisa nodded slowly. Her hand slipped in his, and her grip was just firm enough. “I believe we shall. If need be, if we get lost, we can always apparate…elsewhere.” Thought that would be unlikely. Traps, curses, dead carcasses, none of that brought fear to this Death Eater. Instead, it gave her excitement. To be within the walls of the ancient rulers and such would be just exciting. Raisa glanced up at the pyramid once more, and it made her feel rather small compared to the thing. At least this did not hinder her desire of adventure. |

The large structures towering over them where certainly something worth admiring. Whether they had been built with the aid of magic, for one purpose or another, would be interesting to find out; but even if they where muggle creations, they where still fantastic. As Raisa slipped her hand into his, Vaughn attempted to focus on an open space in-side the stones. Not knowing what the final destination held made it slightly difficult to apparate cleanly. After-all, it was rumoured one room contained only sand. As Raisa spoke, Vaughn silently agreed with her. Whatever they faced on the opposite side could be avoided by apparating again. Having the ability to move in such a way was in-valuable. Taking in the sight before him one last time, at least for now, Vaughn dis-apparated with his companion. The move into the Pyramid went with-out any issues, which was surprising; but relieving at the same time. The darkness surrounded the pair, as Vaughn kept his hand in Raisa's; mostly for a quick escape if any sort of booby-trap had been triggered. Removing his wand with his other hand, the professor muttered "Lumos."; and blinked as the light from its tip broke through the dark. The room the two occupied was magnificent. The size slightly small, but that was to be expected. Walls had been decorated with various drawings, which greatly contradicted every other wall of publicly accessible rooms; as nothing was written on them. Pots and other small items had been aligned along one side of the small room. As he turned, Vaughn spotted what looked to be a tomb. "We may not be alone.", he chuckled. |
