Rory was very bored with Therese, he didn't know what it was about the other girl and the more time they spent together, but Rory was no longer as interested in her as he had been, but he was looking for an out with her. He didn't really want to have to break up with her, though that was exactly what he needed to do and mostly he'd just been avoiding her. It was easier for him to do that because of the fact he was older, in a different house and just good at avoiding doing things he knew he needed to do. The boy had enjoyed that conversation he'd had with Evelyn those weeks before and it had put him on this path of avoiding his girlfriend and enjoying the time he spent less and less with each passing week. He just needed to break up with her, but maybe later. It had been easier with Anabelle, though perhaps it was because he just hadn't cared about her as much as he did with therese. He wasn't surprised that him and Therese hadn't worked out, she wasn't pureblood and he was heading towards going back home were he would've had to break up with her.

The teen was hoping to head up to the library, he'd taken out a quidditch book and hoped to return it, but as he wandered up the stairs towards it, he was sure he had spotted the familiar sight of the brunette. Rory immediately turned and headed in a different direction. This lead him to the entrance hall where he put himself behind a pillar, where she wouldn't spot him, but he didn't notice the girl who hated him - one of the many - at the other side of the room. he was just intent on avoiding his girlfriend and waiting it out, he could after all, he had the time. There were exams this semester for him but he would be fine. He had dropped so many classes he had far less work to do in these ones. He'd give it a few more minutes before he continued with his day.

Sunlight permeated the entrance hall as Andi arrived there after the trek down from her common room, the light a contrast to her sour mood caused from the aching she couldn't rid from the back of her head. Sooner or later she knew her sleep habits would catch up with her, waking up early naturally, napping often during the day, and later being unable to sleep during the night as a result not what many people would consider healthy. She just didn't think it would hit her in the form of a headache in the most inopportune moments. That day was meant to be peaceful, and a time for her to relax slightly knowing the semester was nearly over, not one she wanted to spend feeling worse than she usually did due to something she couldn't fully control. Sighing, Andi considered heading to the kitchens for some food and a glass of water, or possibly a cup of coffee to help her fight the headache and allow her to continue with her day without it literally nagging the back of her mind. If she had food in her stomach she was sure she would be able to feel normal again by the time she found Aodhan milling around.

With the decision clearly made Andi began to head further down to the kitchens, but quickly stopped her movements when she caught sight of another headache she couldn't get rid of. Rory Fergusson had been the bane of her existence ever since she realized how entitled and downright awful he was, both to his friends and the girls unfortunate enough to date him, from what she heard. What didn't help her low opinion of him too was the fact she had asked around to learn his name after their first encounter while he hadn't bothered to do the same for her in return. Thus the reason Andi avoided the slytherin for the last couple of years; she simply didn't want to rile herself up and interact with someone that couldn't lift a finger for themselves. However despite avoiding him and spending time with Aodhan who was a headache in more tolerable, less self-absorbed way, it seemed she couldn't avoid the bad luck that forced her to run into him again. It was obvious, too, that Rory's ways hadn't changed as Andi watched him dart behind a pillar, clearly hiding from something. Whatever it was, it didn't take long for Andi's already sour mood to convince her to approach and confront him, frown on her face and arms crossed over her torso. "Still hiding from your responsibilities? Could you act like more of a child?"The questions were rhetorical and she hadn't caught a glimpse of what the boy was actually hiding from, but she didn't need much to jump to a conclusion.

Rory narrowed his eyes when the voice spoke. He found himself face to face with a girl that he had been able to successfully avoid for a while now, though it did appear that his luck had run out. She was different than how his mind really remembered her, she was older, well formed and boy was she beautiful. Rory was stunned as he looked at her, not comprehending how that girl had become this. The boy shook his head at her, ignoring the intrusive thoughts about how it would be quite nice to get to know her properly and be her friend or more and more upon what she was saying and how he was acting, since this certainly didn't paint him in a very good light. He also struggled to understand why the girl cared, as far as he knew he'd never been that unkind to her specifically, unkind to everyone else, but to her, he'd never been that bad. Or well, he couldn't remember ever being that bad to her, though maybe he was just forgetting. It wouldn't be the first time that his actions weren't something he necessarily remembered.

"Why dae ye care?" the boy responded, pushing down how he felt about her and focusing on just acting like himself with her. Why did she care, he could not care about what she was doing with her life, though clearly avoiding him was one of the things she did because he was sure he'd have spent time sending her roses rather than Anabelle, Fleur and Therese combined. The boy tried his best to just stay hidden, giving away his location would not help in avoiding his girlfriend, and he was sure if he said as much to this girl that she would more than happily give it away to whomever was passing. "Just go away. Dinnae ye have better things tae dae, other folk tae annoy," he spoke in a more hushed tone and just hoped she wouldn't be frustratingly predictable and annoying with him, though he almost hoped she would stay so he could talk to her a little more, look at her a little more, after all, she was simply breathtaking to look at.
