[justify]Name: Noemie Vanity
Year: 6th
Class Missed: 1&2

Noemie had not done as well as she’d hoped in her OWL exams, she’d only gotten two O’s in all of her classes and this was even with all the work she had been doing for them. All of the studying, the stress, all of it had not paid off in the way she had hoped. One of the classes she’d done well in had been a given too, she wrote horoscopes, of course she’d be good at divination. It was just annoying that everything else had been EEs. Of course they weren’t bad grades, they were average, but they were not the grades that Noemie had been pushing and working for in the last few weeks of the last semester. The ravenclaw was pleased that at the very least she had other things going to keep her busy, quidditch, Heta Omega and the monthly, all of which kept her mind off what she had to do for classes. She needed to do well in NEWTs, better that she had done in her OWLs, and she had two years, only two to work towards this goal. The ravenclaw was just finishing up getting ready, when she double checked she had all she needed for the day and left for the first class of the day. Noemie had enjoyed the electives she'd taken up, and knowing they would help her in the future the teen was working towards, it was even better. The ravenclaw walked into the arithmancy room and took her usual spot in the classroom. Her gaze shifted to the front of the room where the professor stood. It was a few moments later, when everyone had arrived that the professor actually got started. Telling them exactly what they would be doing during this year. Noemie made sure she had all of that down, she wanted to be able to do more reading before the next class. With that however, the class was wrapped up and left the room. She was looking forward to this semester a lot.

Lesson 2

Noemie was feeling pretty pleased with herself, she had been excited about the prospect of applying herself more and already she felt as though she might be able to pull better grades. She had also come to realise internally, that classes weren’t everything when it came to getting a job post-school, but that there would obviously be a number of factors influencing it, and good enough grades matched with other things might even be better. That was what she held on to, in case she didn’t manage to do better despite the extra work and lessening sleep that she was doing. The girl had been happy too to spend a little more time with her brother, they’d always been in competition, but helping him learning to run and spend the mornings doing some exercise was certainly making her feel a little better about herself, and it was nice to spend the time with him. She had been at Hogwarts during a lot of him growing up and it was interesting to now see what he was like.It didn’t delay her mornings much either. She had it pretty figured out. She was in and out with time spare most days, even when like today she took time to do up her hair a little. With that she was out the room and heading to class.

Noemie had done the reading before the next lesson and was now ready to learn. She stepped into the room and took her usual spot in the class. She took out a few notes and got herself ready to learn. The class started shortly after and Noemie just nodded along as the professor got into her lesson. This lesson they would be doing the personal year. The part-veela nodded along as the professor continued talking about the what the personal year was and how one calculated it. She watched as the professor demonstrated it on the board. She made sure in all of her note taking to have that down. There were a few steps involved in it, but it wasn't too complex, it just meant taking a bit of extra time to focus on it. Noemie made sure she had it all down, made sure that every point that she knew to be important which the professor had just made was in her note book. Arithmancy was one of the classes where she needed to by heart know what each thing was an how to calculate it. With that the class was over to them, and she did the work, figuring out that her personal year was four and she definitely thought that it was right. The lesson was rounded off and the teen left the classroom, feeling more focused than ever.

Sheltered and clueless | Chaser | Ollivanders Assistant

[justify]Name: Rory Fergusson
Year: 6th
Class Missed: 1&2

Rory’s grades in his OWLs had been exactly what he might’ve expected, a fair-ish mix of As and EEs. His father had even been impressed by the few EEs that he’d gotten, since clearly everyone had assumed that Rory would not bother or bother to try in them. EEs were about as good as he’d get, but Rory had managed to impress somewhat so he’d won that small battle. It didn’t change anything, his position within the family still meant he had a job when he left, his purity meant he’d marry a pureblood his parents picked. Nothing about his path had changed, nor had he expected it to, but it appealed to him a little less everyday. Going back home, sure, he wanted that but everything else, not really. The teen was getting ready for classes that day, having put off getting ready until the very last moment of it. When he really should be leaving, that was when he opted to get ready. He put his books in his bag, gathered up bits and pieces he might need for the day, though never too much. And when he was finally ready he left for class. Rory knew that NEWTs were more important than OWLs, but he felt he’d proved himself capable enough that he didn’t need to try as hard now. Time would tell. Rory walked into the arithmancy class, a lesson he wasn't sure why he was still doing, but certainly keen to just get the lessons over with. His favourite thing about the class was the professor a beautiful woman that Rory would happily listen to. He didn't like her, but he liked looking at her. He took his seat and glanced up at her. Listening as the professor gave them a brief introduction to what they would be learning about in the year and then after just wrapping up the lesson. That length of lecture was something that he could absolutely get behind, though he knew the others would not be this short. He packed up his things and left the room.

Lesson 2
The second week was always better for Rory, he got annoyed at the boredom he felt in the first week and it was always better by the second where he knew the rhythm of each day and he could figure out his own schedule, coming back from a few weeks of doing wands was enough to make anyone want to spend a week just slowly adjusting. Though he wasn’t even trying to work particularly hard during this semester, just enough that he would coast by and into his final year of school. All hopes and dreams of leaving the school had firmly left, sicne there was no way he’d leave the school this close to the end, he was now in this for the long haul. It was also additionally because his brother would be joining the school in the following year and that would certainly be a good time to still be around to help the young boy navigate this awful school. Rory was getting ready for the day ahead, taking his quidditch gear in with his school stuff, since they had a game soon. He took a few other things he might need and then left for class.

Rory had liked the last arithmancy class due to its length but he knew this class would be much longer. he walked into the room and took his seat, happily glancing towards the professor at the front as she began the lesson. They would be figuring out the personal year which he didn't care too much about though he listened and continued to listen to the professor as the woman talked about what it was and what it meant. He took a few notes from it listened and paying a little bit of attention to what was being said. Arithmancy had more complexities than most of his other classes and so he knew that he should pay a little more attention to it. The teen watched as the professor did the maths for it and figure out her personal year number and he copied that down too, he wasn't too keen on having to do it on himself, but he did still. There was time left over and the professor hadn't dismissed them, so he sat and figured out his own personal year number before the professor did then wrap up the lesson and dismiss them. He was pretty happy with the fact he'd managed it and what it had said.

♥Probably Reading in the Library♥

[justify]Name:November Albertson
Year:6th
Class Missed:1 -4
{Lesson 1}
November couldn't imagine what her life would be like if she had done well and decided to continue all the classes she had been taking prior. Now she was down to just two this semester, her Aunt's class and Arithmancy which was her favorite class. She liked Professor Matthias but missed Professor Cyndi. Walking into the class she looked around, glad to not see Amber in the class but instead her friend Noemie was there which made her favorite happy. She sat next to her friend and prepared herself for diving right in. They didn't do much during the lesson, which November was a little sad about so she packed up her belongings at the end of class and headed to the library to study her own things about runes and remind herself about what they had learned the first few years of the subject. She was surprised there had been so few people in the class, two of them were Slytherin boys she never really cared talking to but Noemie was there, which was nice.

{Lesson 2}

November was busy that morning before the Arithmancy lesson. She was in the library studying although she was getting more and more distracted by her boyfriend Flavio. Not that they were all about keeping each other from their work but he seemed more cute today than usual. Packing up her bag and heading to her lesson on her own was tough but Flavio was a very busy guy in comparison to herself, she didn't know how he continued to find time for her, but she appreciated it and was okay with being distracting whenever he was in the library with her. Walking into the Arithmancy classroom she found her seat next to Noemie sending the girl a friendly smile. They were going to be studying the Personal Year this lesson which sounded interesting to her. And first she followed along with the Professor in making the calculations for the Universal Year.

[Universal + Birth Month + Birth Day= Number
3+6+4=13 1+3=4
Personal Year = 4]

November wasn't really surprised by her year pick. Organization and foundation things seemed right for her 7th year next year. She couldn't believe her luck or perhaps misfortune that her personal year was going to be the next year. She wondered if they would be studying more about this next week, but figured that they really wouldn't.

{Lesson 3}
November was excited that the year was moving on quickly, she couldn't wait till break and have a few moments with Flavio. For now she had to prepare for class, packing up from the library November moved towards the door being distracted by all the books as usual. Once she made it out of the library she realized how late she was really running. Quickly she made her way up in time for the lecture. Sitting down next to her friend once again November smiled towards the Professor in an apologetic way. She felt bad if the Professor had paused in starting for her. She listened to what the Professor discussed and even had begun making her own calculations as the Professor talked finding it interesting to see what her personal month was going to be. It was interesting to November because her and Flavio weren't distant at school but their relationship was stretched out when they went home for breaks and they often visited each other it made her think about how that was the focus and highlighted during their breaks, the relationship they had and the travel they took for it.
[Year=4
10+4=14 1+4=5
5=Personal Month]

{Lesson 4}
Classes were seeming to drag on these days and often times she found herself studying ahead. Today she already knew her First Penicle and had wrtten her calculations down on a piece of paper.
[6+4=10 1+0=1]
She hadn't really seen why she was paired with the first of them. It didn't really seem to fit her. It was one of those moments where she began to doubt the truth in Arthimancy over Divination. She wasn't certain that any bit of leadership and courage defined her personality and ego. She was very much a follower, a sheep in the herd type of person. She didn't think that would change in life, and she rather it didn't. Taking charge scared her a bit. She hoped the prediction that her feeling as though this wasn't a good match now but being something of her character later in life was true, she supposed they were good qualities for a parent to have when dealing with children and though she didn't think much on the subject she did hope to end up with Flavio and have a few children with him. He was a dream boat and she knew she was lucky to have him.
