Geo's eyes lit up at the mention of Bee showing her some tips that could be used in dueling. She nodded quickly, eager to finally be spending time with someone who had interests that ran against her own. "You would do that? I'd be so grateful" she replied honestly, noting she was a sixth year. "I'm only in year three so I still have a lot to learn" Geo explained, knowing that in the years to come she'd be much better prepared. She loved to know what was lying ahead of her, and even if she wasn't able to use everything she knew for a few more years, it still sparked her interests to how what she could one day be doing. She was surprised she hadn't come across Bee earlier, and hoped that she really would be able to practice with her.

In the distance she heard a voice near the Brotherhood table, and the nostalgia of her first year hit Geo as she recalled being in a similar position to the girl. She'd soon learn it was no use though. Geo had already tried her best to get into the Brotherhood herself, and quite frankly the whole splitting of the genders was just ridiculous. She would have had a better time focusing on something important instead.

Mazikeen was glad when the older girl told her where to sign up. She took the quill and neatly wrote her name down where she was supposed to. The girl was definitely happy she was going to be taking part in such a club, she took one of the flower crowns and thanked the older girl, "I'll see you at Wild Patch events then!". Her wandering around the hall wasn’t quite done, she had heard some yelling about a brotherhood and could only assume that such a thing existed for girls. She kept going round until she spotted the stand, Heta Omega, okay, an odd name but sure. She walked up to the table, ”This is the sisterhood club right? It’s called Heta Omega, but it’s essentially a sisterhood, right?” the girl pushed for clarification maybe this club wasn’t what mazikeen had been looking for and she’d have to find someone else to talk to about a sisterhood, but the gryffindor was relatively certain that she was correct. It was the club’s naming that was the fault.

Derek glanced at one of the older boys who greeted him, he picked up a quill and signed his name to join, ”I am enjoying it a lot!” the boy replied with a friendly tone, ”Are you enjoying it?” he returned the question, since perhaps this boy was also enjoying his schooling, no matter how long he’d been at the school and how the question had been geared more towards someone new to the school. Derek had been about to leave when another boy turned up to join up, asking another of the club leaders to join. ”Hey, maybe I’ll see you in the club room, or at the events,” Derek told the boy from his year and he then walked away from the stand. The Slytherin hadn’t decided if he wanted to join any more clubs, he was hopeful of a sports club but he couldn’t seem to spot any. Perhaps he could start one? Derek had played enough sports with other muggles that he knew quite a few rules. But perhaps it was more that other clubs hadn’t yet shown up.

"Ok" he nodded, waiting his turn to sign the sheet. There were a lot of people in her and not just first years. Jacob wondered why the older students wouldn't have decided right away to join a club and figured maybe some of them were new and hadn't existed in the years prior. When he finally got the sheet, he tried to make his writing as neat as possible, not wanting to miss the opportunity because someone couldn't read his writing. He paused when the boy next to him spoke, listened and then nodded and grinned. "Yea" he stated enthusiastically, passing the sign up sheet back to the older Brothers. "Ok, bye!" he waved as he headed to the next one. Wild Patch. "What do you do?" he asked when the leader was available. There were many items, pamphlets, the flags, flower crowns.

Secrets run deeper than scars

Zennon didn't really know much about clubs, but he figured now would be a good time to have a look at them since everyone else seemed so interested in them. He wasn't sure which would be the right club for him, maybe just somewhere he could have some fun and be around people, but not actually have to do things, like study or write. He looked around and noted that there was a brotherhood of some sort, maybe just the perfect place for him. Nodding to himself, Zennon headed over and looked at the sign up sheet. He looked at who he assumed was the leader... who was actually kind of cute, and a Gryffindor! Mentally smacking himself in the face, Zennon looked back at the sign up sheet. "What does a brotherhood do, exactly?"

Just as with most things at the school, the club fair intimidated Emilia quite a bit. There were so many people here, and Emilia didn't know any of them. She grew up very sheltered, and had never needed to stand on her own two feet as much as she did here at Hogwarts. But she wanted to join a club. It was the sort of thing Evelyn would do, the sort of thing Evelyn had done. She knew she wanted to join Heta Omega, the sisterhood. But first she would have to sign up. She headed over to the table with a lot of girls, figuring it was a safe bet. But instead of talking to anyone, she lingered near. Another girl was already talking to them, and Emilia didn't want to be rude and interrupt.

There seemed to be a lot of interest in the brotherhood which was only a good thing for everything James had planned for the year. Once he was finished with the boys already at the booth another one showed up with questions about what the Brotherhood did. James smiled, it was a question he actually liked answering. "Well first and foremost the Brotherhood is a place where its members can come and hang out, we're not separated by a house we're all just bros. We organise events, hang out together and we're there for each other, the Brotherhood is a second family. That sound like something you want to be a part of?"

Athena was on her way to this club fair where she had heard of. The blonde figured it was a good thing to join a club and see what the school had to offer. Evelyn had told her about some clubs and Athena would see for herself. When she walked further she saw Heta Omega where Evelyn had told her about. Not very far from there she noticed Emilia and walked over the the girl. '' Hi Emilia! Are you going to join a club too? We can do it together! If you already have made up your mind?'' the blonde said with a smile. She noticed her cousin at another stand with the school paper and waved at Evelyn. Athena didn't really think she would be a good writer. And she liked to be busy with music far more. Athena wanted to join Heta Omega and looked at the girl who was standing there. She noticed Mazikeen standing with the Heta Omega sisterhood and smiled. She really liked the girl and if they would join together that would be super fun. '' Hi Mazikeen!'' the blonde tapped the girl on her shoulders.

Lavinia had heard of the Club Fair going on, and she was curious to find out exactly what it was about and more importantly if there were any clubs she would be interested in. She arrived to the entrance hall and scanned the room, taking in her surroundings before she'd have to walk around to look at the clubs and things specifically. There were a few students already, some Lavinia recognised to be first years like her. When she passed a stall with the title 'Wild Patch Club' it intrigued her. Then when she checked if the girl responsible for the club was busy with someone, she was but with a familiar face. Athena. Lavinia grinned, going over to her extended cousin. "Hey cuz! Ooh are you going to join this club? Then count me in as well!" Lavinia glanced over to the older hufflepuff. She recognised her as one of her house Prefects. "Hi! I'd also like to join the Wild Patch Club. What exactly do you do?"

It seemed that the Wild Patch Club stand really stood out and Ellie was thankful that she didn't have to do any yelling like the brotherhood stand to attract a large group of people. She noticed a younger Slytherin walking towards the stand and beamed. "You sign up right here!" The Hufflepuff exclaimed, pointing to the sign up sheet the Gryffindor was using. She smiled as her Hufflepuff friend asked a question. "We work in the Hogwarts Gardens planting flowers and we also hold pride events for the school!" she told her, hoping that was something that interested her. As a familiar Slytherin face began to approach, Eleanor narrowed her eyes at him, watching as he knocked down one of the smaller flower crowns from the table and walked away. The prefect chose to ignore this however and returned her attention back to the small Hufflepuff student. "You can sign up too if you'd like." she told her with a friendly smile, gesturing over to the sign up sheet. She was glad that so many younger students were interested and trusted that the club would be in good hands for when she had to leave. As another younger Gryffindor spoke, she was happy to answer the question again for him. "We do all sorts of things! We grow plants, hold annual pride events and make flower crowns!" She picked up one of the flower crowns. "Would you like one?" she asked, holding it out to him.

The Ravenclaw Prefect beamed as Amber joined her. "Sure! You can help. It looks like we'll be a little occupied today," she smiled at her fellow club member and 'sister'. Just as she finished speaking to Amber, she turned her attention to a young Gryffindor girl who had walked up to both the brotherhood and sisterhood clubs, but James beat her to it and replied before she could. She smiled at his response, nodding her head. Hoping that Maddie would make an appearance soon because it appeared that they were going to be busy today, though if she couldn't that was okay too since Amber was here as well. Izzy didn't mind it, in fact, she loved when people asked about and wanted to join Heta Omega. She turned her attention instead to another student who had approached her. "Hi! Yes, it is, Heta Omega is a sisterhood where we treat each other like family, and hold events and do fun stuff together. Would you like to join?" she asked the girl, she too in Gryffindor.

Sam had been thinking it over and over, whether she should join a club and participate, becoming more involved at the school straight away. It was still her first semester at Hogwarts and yet she felt the need to be doing other things besides studying. She walked around, taking in as much as she could without getting confused and stopping every once in a while to check all the specifics of each club. Naturally, the brotherhood wouldn't do. There was one however that interested her. She smiled as she approached the station then realised the much older boy was busy with someone else. Still, by the expression on his face it didn't seem like he wanted the other boy there. Shrugging, Sam continued with what she came here to do. "Hello, sorry to interrupt. What exactly is the Hogwarts Monthly?" she asked, curious about it. Sam loved writing, journalism, anything of the sorts. She wondered what it was and if it interested her enough she could try to join, if she wasn't too young.

Sara had promised herself she would be more involved in the school. On top of doing well, of course, but she wanted to have a break from studying constantly. So as she looked at the different options none really inspired her yet. The sisterhood was of course an option, she wondered if that really was for her. The brotherhood was out of the question. Sara was a little disappointed but she tried not to let that get to her. Instead, she did one last look around and to her delight she spotted something interesting. The third year approached the station called the SDA and wondered what that was. She was about to ask about it to the older Gryffindor when she noticed the person the older girl had been talking to was Geo. "Hey Geo!" she grinned at her friend before turning to the Gryffindor Prefect. "Hey. What's this about?" she nodded towards the stall, if Geo joined maybe Sara could as well, though more out of interest than because her friend was there. It was just a bonus if she was.

Though Arvel had at first rejected Geo's suggestion of joining a club, he had taken an interest in writing for the Hogwarts Monthly. As a first year, he wasn't even sure it was something he could do, or if he'd enjoy it, but he supposed he had to do something in his free time besides sit around. What harm could come from checking it out, anyway? OK, he might be laughed away from the stand, but there already appeared to be a girl of his age standing over there, which was Arvel's permission to head over as well. He hung back a little behind the Slytherin, still within earshot of the people behind the table, but far enough away that he could inconspicuously walk off if the other girl got rejected.

Matthew laughed in surprise when the young boy turned the question around on him. He had to admire him for that, as he wasn't sure he would have asked a seventh year anything when he was that young. Also, it was just a funny question to get in his final year. He chuckled as he answered. "Glad to hear it, I'm enjoying it too. Thanks for asking." He said, waving at the boy as he went on his way. Some of these kids were hilarious. James answered the question of another boy, so he looked around to see if he could spot other interested boys.
