[justify]Jon was enjoying teaching his fifth years. Their curriculum wasn't undergoing changes like the ones for his sixth and seventh years and it allowed him to feel comfortable teaching and revel in the sense of solidarity it gave him at an otherwise confusing point in his life. This is the reason he managed to smile genuinely for the first time that week as he stood at the front of the classroom, waiting for his fifth year class to arrive. When everyone had chosen their seats and gotten comfortable, Jon began the lesson.

"Good day everyone! Today we will be learning about famous muggle films." Turning back to his desk, Jonathon picked up a replica of a vintage movie poster for the Disney film Snow white and the seven dwarfs and hung it on the blackboard. "This poster was made to advertise Walt Disney's animated feature film Snow White and the Seven dwarfs, which was the first animated feature film ever made." He smiled as he spoke, pointing to the movie's title on the poster before pointing to the films opening date written along the bottom. "The poster says the film was released in 1937, which means it premiered over one hundred years ago! Isn't that crazy?" Jonathon queried, stepping back towards his desk so he could pick up another replica of a vintage movie poster and place it on top of the Disney poster on the board before he continued speaking.

"This next poster was made to advertise the godfather, released in 1972. It is one of the most popular films to date!" Jon exclaimed as he clapped his hands together. "As I have mentioned in previous classes, film making has been around for many many years. So as you can imagine, there have been countless films made throughout these years. In addition to The Godfather, some of the other most popular films to date are Casablanca from 1942, and Schindler's list from 1993. Now I'm going to mention, that these three films have pretty grown-up themes. They have a lot of violence, gore, and foul language. So if you would like to watch these films outside of class I suggest you do so with your parent's permission." He said making sure the class understood the nature of the films. "Though you don't need to ask your parents to watch Snow White, it's a children's movie after all." He added as an afterthought, before continuing the lesson and assigning the students' homework.

The professor clapped his hands together a second time to signify the end of the lesson. "Your homework for this week, is to watch Snow White. In order to watch it, you will need to set aside time to watch it in the classroom and also get the film from the library." He stated, simply. "This week's homework is particularly important because next week is our field trip to a movie theater. We're going to watch a live-action version of the Snow White story, so I would like you to watch both films and be able to make a comparison." Jonathon then dismissed the class, now that he had mentioned the homework. "That's all for today, see you guys next week!" He said, waiting at the front of the class as each student packed their belongings and left.

Homework: Roleplay the lesson! Write a few short sentences about your character's interpretation and opinion of the film for extra credit.
