The loud sound of croaking filled the room and the hall as students approached the room, In a container on each desk contained a frog for each student to transfigure into a cricket for todays lesson, once each student arrived Kida began her lesson 'I will get to the frogs but first, Non-verbal Spells' she began looking around the classroom 'It takes great focus to be able to cast spells non-verbally, so today if you feel up to for it I want you to practice casting this spell non-verbally, but for those who don't feel up to it, the incantation is Locusta.'

Kida gestured to the frogs on everyones desk 'Today we shall be transfiguring these frogs into grasshoppers and back again, visualize in your mind your grasshopper and remember your frog and as always if you need help, call on me, and please try not to disfigure the frogs with giant cartoon eyes when you transfigure them back'

Walking around the classroom watching students she guided any which needed assistance, she was happy to hear that the room was mostly quiet with students attempting the non-verbal casting. Once everyone had finished transfiguring the frogs she went back o the front of the class 'Excellent work, that is all for today, no homework, Everyone is dismissed'

[justify]Hamish entered the classroom and slowed, mildly confused at the containers on each of the desks. It didn't take too much brain power to realise that they would be transfiguring these little guys, but he did wonder what they would be turning them into. Hard work wasn't really something he liked, but he did like blindly following instructions and turning sh!t into other sh!t. He wasn't sure if he felt up to transfiguring frogs into grasshoppers non-verbally, but then again, he was here to try and he might as well roll up his sleeves and try to break a sweat.

It took him a moment to visualise a grasshopper, making sure to get the delicate, but powerful, little creatures correct to avoid some hideous monstrosity. He asked for some assistance after he managed to transfigure his grasshopper, seeking clarification on how to go about returning the critter to its previous form. But other than that, the lesson went without a problem, for him. He gave the professor a nod in acknowledgement as the classroom was dismissed, and he left the classroom after packing his things.
