Patriarch of the Zhefarovich Family, Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor, Slytherin Head of House, Former Death Eater, Legilimens, Occlumens

Professor Styx was sitting behind his desk grading some essays still. Once all the fourth years had arrived, his onyx eyes glanced up from behind his desk, and he straightened up in his chair to give them all a steady look. He informed, "Today you will be studying in preparation for your exams. Get out your notes and get studying on them. Also, if you have any make up assignments, go on ahead and finished them up. I expect silence, and work solo." Professor Styx went back to grading some other assignments as the students studied. And once the bell rang, the students were free to be dismissed.

Assignment: Roleplay the lesson and make up any work you missed in the make-up topic.

It was the last week before exams and Lilyanna was starting to get excited. She was very confident that she had everything organised in order to pass all of them and had loaded every single one of her notes from every class into her bag, eager to study during her last lessons of the year. She made her way promptly into the Defence Against The Dark Arts classroom and quickly set herself up. When they were told to start studying, Lilyanna scribbled away on her piece of parchment with her textbook opened in front of her, neatly writing down every little thing that may pop up in the exam. Failing them was definitely not what she was aiming for. When the lesson ended, she thanked the professor and headed straight to the library for even more studying.

Exams were approaching fast and Eleanor was eager to cram as many things in as possible, hoping that she wouldn't forget anything as soon as she walked into the room. It was important that she kept the grades she had earned herself last year, even if they weren't the best. Studying just wasn't Eleanor's thing and she took it lightheartedly, only hoping that she'd do alright when it came down to it. The Hufflepuff sat down next to her friends and took out her Defence Against The Dark Arts textbook. Throughout the lesson she flipped through every page, attempting to soak in all of the information. It was quite a boring lesson but Eleanor tried to be as productive and as quiet as possible as everyone around her studied. When the lesson ended, she left the classroom, dreading the exam she hoped she was going to get at least average marks in.

[justify]There was always so much work which Sianna had to do as the term began to wind down, primarily she had the classes and the exams which were things she definitely needed to pay attention to, that she needed to do well in, but the deadline for the yearbook was closing in and she wanted to get it done as soon as she possibly could. The teen didn’t want to be behind on either her classes, or the yearbook, if both were perfect then this year wouldn’t be as bad as she had imagined it had been. The teen was eager, she wanted to get started on the final week because her time was easier to manage when she didn’t have classes to go to between her studying and her work for accio. With that thought in her mind she put the finishing touches on her hair and make-up before gathering the books she needed for the classes that day before going to the class. The girl walked into the defence against the dark arts classroom and took her seat within the room. She was very happy when the professor confirmed that they would just be studying. Sianna took out her books and began just that, studying until the lesson itself was over. She packed away her things when the hour came to an end and then left the classroom.

[justify]Ares had enjoyed the semester, it had been an enjoyable experience for him, a different but still enjoyable time for him. It was certainly true that putting himself out there just even the smallest fraction more did see some results come back in his favour. He felt more confident than he had ever felt for the exams, he didn’t think he’d get perfect grades like his brothers, but he was eager at least to do a little better. The boy was making his way to the classroom, he’d put his books and the wand into his bag and headed off the room the moment he was able to. Though he had first stopped for a light snack, knowing that to get through this final week he would need his energy and the food would bring him the energy he wanted. It was a small detour but he knew it wouldn’t stop him from being on time for the class. Ares walked into the class and then took his seat. He was pretty happy with all the work that he'd been doing over the semester, this class hadn't been great but he was trying his best and he felt like that was enough. The boy opened his books and began working on what he needed to. He worked until the hour was over and then he was able to pack up and leave the class happy that he'd managed to do quite well in his studying over the hour.

[justify]Zared had to admit he was pretty happy with the entire year, though he had been worried about his relationship with Elysia, it hadn’t been all that bad in the end, things had worked out pretty well, he’d certainly made a lot of mistakes along the way, but he had tried his best with it. He was coming out of the school year better than he’d gone in. It was also good because Lestat seemed still distracted by his girlfriend, so much so, that Zared wondered if his friend even realised the developments in his relationship with Elysia, he had been meaning to tell him, but Zared was still not entirely sure how to really describe it and works had always been Zared’s weakest point. However, he had one last week to get through it and then it would be fine. He was putting the few things he would need for hopefully boring nothing revision classes before walking out the door and heading to the class. The teen walked into the defence against the dark arts classroom and took his seat, as always saving a space next to him for lestat. He spent the lesson studying as he was supposed to. It was rather interesting, studying was pretty good it was the thing he liked the most. When the lesson was over, Zared packed up his things and then left the room.

The semester was coming to a fast halt and Wyatt, for one, was relieved at this so the boy went into DADA with his notes and hoped that they would get to study. There was little else he could imagine they would learn with just one class before the end of the term and so this was what he expected to do and was glad to have been prepared in this although he had been studying more than he would've ever liked to do as he still wished to be expelled from this god forsaken school. The boy went over his notes as they were instructed to, glad to see his guess was right, until they were dismissed at which point he left to get himself a bit of food before returning to the common room.

[justify]Marisol was glad that the year was almost over because that meant her punishment was almost over and getting out in the sun couldn't come soon enough. She walked into the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom for the last time before the exams and took her seat beside her best friends, smiling at them optimistically. They were almost done with their sentence. She was glad for this time to study so she took out her notes to look over them. This year had all been theory work and she was glad for that because it meant the exam wouldn't require any wand work from her which was not her strong suit. Marisol read over her textbook until it was time to go and packed her things up.
