Faida stood in front of the class wearing her muggle attire as per usual and she needed to be dressed like that especially today. In front of her on the desk was a shoe, called a flip-flop, and that would be the port key they were going to take today. She smiled at her class once they filed in before Professor Kaibryn announced,
"All right students, we're heading to the muggle world. Leave your bags and robes here" said the professor with a wink. "Come on, we're leaving. No stragglers. We're going to the hotel I rented out for us to use when we go to the muggle world first." Faida took the shoe with one hand and the rest soon followed. It was not long until they were warped through space and landed in the luxurious hotel room.

"Port key travel gets easier with practice" she told them, "Right, we're learning about Muggle transportation today, and it would be best if the learning was hands on, don't you think?" She smiled once more as she put up a hand before she continued, "Take a seat, and then we'll get out and have some fun. I must go over some basics for you." She pulled up an armchair and sat down in it. Placing her hands clasped in her lap she leaned forward to talk to the students a bit more directly.

Slowly, yet easily, she began, "Muggles have a variety of forms of transport. We'll see the two types today. The automobile or car has always been the most popular form. There are a couple different types, shapes if you will. Some of them hold a few people and some hold a anything up to 8. Cars drive on the roads and they get you from one place to another. A lot these days run on electricity though before they used to run on petrol. I'll cover more on that subject later. They're also known as Private transport." Faida thought for a moment, remembering one of her personal favourite of muggle vehicles.

"Motorbikes, imagine a bike with a car motor. These are fuel-powered bikes that can travel much further than a manual one. They're my favorite to often ride and are also known as private transport." She mused. Faida summoned her laptop to her before she clicked away on the keys for a moment before turning the screen around so the students could see the images pulled up for each, "Public transportation - Buses, airplanes and trains. Airplanes are flown in the air, much larger than a broom. Buses and trains travel on the ground, or under it. Many people can travel on these at once."

Faida closed the laptop, and set it to the side. She continued, "Now, you'll be going outside on the streets of Sydney, Australia today. I'll place a tracking charm on you, cause it's easy to get lost in a strange place." She told them, "Keep as a group and everything should be okay." Faida stood up and she clapped her hands together once. "Single file at the door, if you will." She smirked slightly "We're going to walk to the Wharf and around Central, that runs along the wharf. And then we'll ride a bus to the train station and then finally to the airplanes. Then we will take the Translink, which covers the buses and trains back to the hotel. Well, that's it I think, time to move."

Faida tapped each of the students with her wand so she could track them. She led them to the elevator, and it went down to the lobby and they entered the city. It was not long before they had seen all the forms of transportation that the professor had described back in the hotel. Once done it was time to return to the hotel to portkey back to Hogwarts. She dismissed them without any homework for the night.Muggle Studies,4,4

Lilyanna couldn't be happier to be going to the muggle world again for her fourth Muggle Studies lesson of the year. She happily placed her hand on the shoe portkey and instantly felt herself being taken away. They were in a hotel room and, when instructed, Lilyanna sat down on the rug right in front of the professor as she began to explain to them what they would be doing. The pictures on the laptop intrigued the Slytherin as what the muggles had invented were quite clever and Lilyanna knew she could never account to such a thing. As the elevator that they were going down moved, Lilyanna jumped and held onto the walls with a scared expression on her face. She didn't like it and was glad to be getting out of there when they did.

The Sydney, Australia was extremely busy and Lilyanna covered her ears with her hands as she followed the professor's every step, dodging all of the muggles that walked past. When it came to waiting for the train, Lilyanna walked right up to the tracks and looked down at them before she was ushered back by the professor. For some reason, no one was supposed to have a look at the tracks and that kind of made the fourth year confused. How were they supposed to see how it worked if they weren't able to get up close? When the train came, Lilyanna tried her best not to fall in the gap like the lady on the speaker said as she entered it and took a seat by herself. When the day had finished, Lilyanna was reluctant to go back but did so nonetheless and headed straight to her next class.

[justify]The Ravenclaw was ready for the day, she had spent so much of her morning sorting through some of the pictures from the last quidditch game, since it had been such a game, so much excitement, that it had to be something that would be documented in the accio yearbook. She was happy to focus on that, and watching the game had been enjoyable. The teen had never really fancied quidditch, it hadn’t been something for her, but she was rather looking forward to attending more games in the future to take pictures of them if they were as interesting as the one that had just taken place. The girl put that away as she got ready for the classes that she had that day. It wasn’t going to be a very hard week she assumed, it hadn’t been before, even though they were now fourth years, she wasn’t exactly struggling with the workload that she had. Sianna made sure she had all the right bits and pieces for the classes she had, she had a lot of work to take with her, they had had a lot of homework. The serbian girl grabbed her wand, and left the dorm for the classroom.

The last class of muggle studies had been exceedingly different, they'd gone to a rugby game, and though it was different from the last semester of muggle studies but she quite liked it. She had dressed slightly better, just in the event that they had another trip like the last one. She took off her robes and took a hold of the portkey. She didn't mind the portkey, she'd used them growing up, and was curious about what they would be studying. Sianna was more than a little surprised that they would be learning about muggle transport in a hands on way. The teen took out her notes and began writing down what the professor was saying, paying more attention to her than she was to the fact they were in a hotel. She finished writing down what the professor said, and then followed the rest of the class out to the streets of Sydney. In the end, the teen was so happy to have spent so much time in the streets of Sydney, having never been to the city, and having never used any of the muggle transport before. It was such an interesting experience, she loved it. Eventually she was back at the classroom and thanked the professor for such a great lesson.
