'Who has ever gone for a run and had an empty water bottle and wished you could fill it up again, well I am here to tell you that you can!' Professor Frost began her lesson, she wasn't sure how many students would relate to what she was saying but it was worth a try she sounded like an infomercial anyway. Kida drew her wand and Glasses appeared on the students desks 'This year we are going to be working on Conjuring, and today we are going to be learning how to fill those Glasses with water' Picking up a cup Kida held it out in front of her and waited until she had everyones attention 'The Incantation is Aguamenti, everyone say it with me Aguamenti' tapping the glass three times she repeated the spell once more and the glass filled up with water. Kida put the glass on her desk and put her wand back up her sleeve 'Remember to picture what you are doing in your head, You wan to fill your cup up with Water, clean water, we're using the three tap method again' Walking down the aisles between the desk Kida continued her lesson 'There is a sink over to your right if you want to empty your glasses to practice again, Call on me if you need help, You're dismissed when you feel like you've got the hang of the spell' Kida continued to walk up and down the aisles watching the students conjure water. Darcy was excited for her Transfiguration lessons because she felt like she was finally getting to the really complicated and useful stuff that she wanted to try. She walked into class and took a seat at the front of the classroom and took out her parchment, ink, and quill. She knew this class mostly focused on hands on practicing, but she had taken out her writing supplies just in case she needed to jot down some tips or any extra information. Once she had quickly jotted down some notes, Darcy repeated after the professor, clearly stating, "Aguamenti!" It seemed straight forward enough. The redhead took out her Cedar wand and tapped on her empty glass three times before stating the incantation. She saw it slowly fill up with water though it didn't fill up all the way like she had wanted. Darcy wondered if she could drink the water and figured it wouldn't hurt if it looked clean and clear, so she quickly sipped the small amount she'd conjured up to empty up her glass again for practicing. The second time she tried the incantation, Darcy was pleased to see it had filled up much higher this time. She emptied it out in the sink this time and tried it a few more times before she was pleased with her performance and gathered up her materials before she left the classroom. |

Whilst going for a run was foreign to him, having the opportunity to refill water after climbing the stairs of this place would be rather nice. The stairs were not nice, especially when they thought it would be a good idea to move - which he still had problems with. Whilst the professor's change of tone to something out of a commercial wasn't as endearing as last lesson, it got the point across. He repeated the spell along with everyone else, wrapping his tongue around the pronunciation and forcing it to become part of his vocabulary. He had the glass, his wand, the word - everything he needed. Hamish too a sobering breath whilst his cohort got to their conjuring, before starting himself with a strong tone and a concentrated mind. The first few attempts weren't much to write home about, but he had other attempts before the end of the lesson, and by that time he felt more competent with the spell. He packed up his belognings before leaving the classroom. |
