Ren was certain that the next week of his life would be the worst. Not only would he have to share his house, and his life with Sunny, someone he couldn't stand on his best days, but he would have to be kind to her too. They would be living under the same roof and that meant he couldn't avoid her like he would usually when they were at school. No, he instead needed to spend time with her, to uphold respect and pretend like he didn't want to jump off of a bridge for the whole week. It would be exhausting and an extreme test of the patience he didn't have, but there was no way he could get out of it which was probably the worst part of it all. No matter how much he tried to protest and tell his family that he would rather run away than spend time with someone as annoying and stupid as Sunny was, nothing changed and eventually realized that his only option was to suck it up and deal with the experience. So, despite how reluctant he was, he got ready to greet Sunny knowing she would arrive that evening, and chose an outfit his family would deem respectable. He waited by the door for her to arrive, annoyed that he was the one who was supposed to show her around the house, to her room, and that he was supposed to keep her company throughout her visit. He sighed and stared at the clock on he wall, twiddling his thumbs impatiently while he waited for the doorbell to ring. |
