[justify]Misha greeted his first year students warmly as they entered the classroom, he was looking forward to this class and he had so much planned for that lesson and the man was really looking forward to it. He motioned for people to sit down in the classroom since they had so much to get down, "Sit down, come on everyone we have so much to get through," he told them, he just waiting for them to all be sat before he got started, "Right, we have two spells to get through today, the first spell is The Banishing Charm, if you've done the reading, you'll know what this spells entails," Misha told them and he smiled at them, and then summoned a cushion to him, and then pointed his wand at it, "Depulso," the cushion flew away from him, towards the centre of the classroom, avoiding the people within his class. He summoned the cushion back to himself, and then with a flourish of his wand made more cushions appear, "Right over to you lot, I want you to practice the Accio charm from last week, and then when you've got the cushion at you, banish it," he motioned for them to get started, "Remember to be specific with accio, but with Depulso you don't need to be specific, just point your wand at it,"

Minerva had been true to her word, the week before she had not liked having to continually hand back all the items she had summoned so had gone back to her dorm and reread the chapter on summoning and returning. It wasn't so much returning as banishing actually, there didn't seem to be any nice way to send an item back that you had just summoned unless of course as she eventually learned that you did it slowly. It took her the best part of a week to control the speed of the items she summoned and banished so that by the time she arrived for class and Professor Haden, she felt certain she could do it with her eyes closed.

She was nearly beside herself that they would actually be doing the Depulso charm which had been the very banishing charm she had used and so with a somewhat overly pleased, which was unusual for Minerva, smile on her face she summoned a cushion when they were given the all clear and once that was done she banished back to the pile she had gotten it from. Glancing at the pile of cushions, she saw a purple small cushion and decided to use what the professor said as 'being exact'.

"Accio purple cushion" her pronunciation and wand movement were faultless and the cushion she had chosen came to her nice and slowly, compared to the swift clobber to the face that had been her first attempts.
"Depulso" again she motioned with her wand and the cushion returned though to the top of the pile. Would it be possible to banish something back to exactly where it was, she wondered, that would surely take precision. She had managed to check her speed but absolute accuracy she hadn't even contemplated!

Satchel had done the reading, though not particularly effectively. He'd made the mistake of attempting to read at the height of midday, with sun streaming in from the high windows of the Gryffindor tower. So, while he'd technically done the reading, he wasn't realistically going to remember any of the knowledge he was supposed to have absorbed. He vaguely knew that the topic this week was banishing charms, and he'd managed to do the summoning the week before, so he felt that this should be fine.

Once given instruction, he didn't waste time in beginning. "Accio cushion." His lack of care, however, resulted in the cushion coming toward him rather over-enthusiastically and hitting him straight in the face. Her ears turning slightly pink, he began trying to banish the item. His embarrassment was stalling him somewhat, however, so he took a moment to compose himself before pointing at the large yellow cushion which had assaulted him, "Depulso," The cushion zoomed away, and hit its target this time, a little part of the pile of cushions which had been unpleasantly lopsided.

[justify]As it became apparently that everyone in the class had gotten the hang of the spell, he motioned with his hands so that everyone could see to turn their attention back to him. Misha still had another spell to teach them, and was therefore interested in very quickly moving along, "Now that we all seem to have gotten that, we'll move along to the next spell of the day, the Disarming Charm, now can anyone tell me what the incantation for this spell is," he waited until a few hands were raised and then called upon one to answer, nodding as they got the answer correct, "Very well done, yes, Expelliarmus," he made the class repeat how to say the spell, before getting out his own wand and then with his usual ease said, "Expelliarmus," pointing his wand to one of the students who had their wand in their hand and it shot out. He smirked at them before then motioning for his class to pair up, "Once you've got yourself in a pair, a three at most, practice the spell on one another, I'll be wandering around, so I'll be able to help with any difficulties you might be having," and with that the students began practicing.

And here is part 2, have your character's pair up, practice on one another.
Because this is super late, it'll be open a week

Minerva felt elated that she had done relatively well so far but she knew she should not and could not get cocky, it was hard work that had gotten her this far and only hard work would get her the rest of the way. The professor asked them a question and quite a few hands went into the air. Minerva didn't often raise her hand but she figured he wasn't likely to ask her with so many other hands raised and it did look good for her house if she looked as eager as every one else.

Unfortunately, she was chosen to answer the question and she blurted the answer out swiftly in case her entire insides froze or she threw up with nerves. What on earth had she been thinking?! With the Expelliarmus answer given and the professor agreeing with it, Minerva was about to relax into her chair when she saw a wand being whisked out of a student's hand. She couldn't help but smile, this was amazing .. right up until the professor said to pair up. This would be excruciatingly difficult after all she groaned to herself before turning to the person close by and giving them a nod. She hoped that would suffice as a greeting of sorts and without too much talking thankfully, they got on with attempting to disarm one another.

Twice she was successful and twice the other student was too, both had missed on the first shot but that was alright, Minerva didn't plan on missing any more if she could help it.

Geo had joined the class with her usual enthusiam, although Jess and Leila were no where to be found. Thinking that perhaps she had just been early that day, Geo decided to sit near Minerva; a seemingly quiet girl from her dormatory. As they watched the Professor both Accio and banish a cushion, Geo thought to herself that it really did look quite easy. Pointing her wand at a bright red cushion, she gave it a shot. "Accio red cushion" Sure enough, the pillow came flying towards her, however before she could banish it, the charm name had completely vanished from her head. The cushion flumped straight into the girls face, and she tried to ignore anyone who looked her way. She was usually so good at charms, what was wrong with her today? Geo threw the cusion into the air "Depulso!" She shouted, her wand pointing straight at it. Luckily this time it flew across the classroom, and Geo smiled to herself.

After being told they would need to be in pairs, Geo was unusually nervous. This lesson she would always spend with her Gryffindor buddies, but they were as thick as thieves and there was no way she would get between either of them. "Do you want to pair up?" She asked the Hufflepuff she'd spent the lesson beside. They'd not really had much of a chance to talk up until now, but there was no reason they shouldn't try. As Minerva gave a nod, they took their positions. "Expelliarmus" She said, although the spark shot straight out her wand and over the shoulder of the Hufflepuff. It would appear that some charms would need more accuracy than others. After finally succeeding with the spell twice, both girls thought it was time to call it a day, and Geo's wand returned to her pocket.

Therese entered the classroom of Charms and looked for her friends. She walked right pass Geo and Minerva her roommates and smiled at them. She didn't saw April or Leif yet so decided to take a sit after the two girls. She was wondering what today would bring, another handy spell for sure. They ahd a lot to do today and Therese listened as what Professor Haden was telling them. The Swedish girl looked at he Professor how he was demonstrating the Banishing Charm and wondered if she could manage that pretty quickly. When it was their turn Therese grabbed her wand and listened to the instructions. She had to use accio first and than afterwards Depulso. The brunette could do accio because previous lesson they had learned it. Ofcourse it wasn;t perfect still but she could use it. '' Accio cushion.'' the girl said and saw the cushion coming at her. She was glad they practiced with things that were soft. Flying books and stuff hurted more if you didn't looked good around you. And now that she had a pillow she had to try out to banish the cushion. Therese looked around her to see how others were doing and decided to give it a try. '' Depulso'' The cushion zoomed away and Therese knew that was the goal of this spell. A smile appeared on her face since she was happy it worked.

After that was done they went on to the next spell and when the answer at the question was given Therese smiled. Happy that her house scored some points. They did a good job and it would only be fun if they would win. But the year was not far from done so everything could happen. She looked at how Expelliarmus was working and thought this would be a very handy spell, but she hoped she wouldn't have to use it a lot. To disarm somebody seemed like a duel or something and she didn't liked fights or something. But still she wanted to practice and decided to pair up with April and Leif and she was the first to try out. '' Expelliarmus'' the brunette said and was suprised when she saw she disarmed April. The others could try too and Therese practised a few times and was happy it worked.

Excited | Slightly Annoying | Loves Attention

As always, April skipped into the Charms classroom cheerfully. She loved this class so much! Even if she made mistakes sometimes, the professor was always nice. She took her seat and kicked her feet eagerly, waiting for what they were going to learn today. She waved at a few of her classmates as she waited for the lesson to begin.

They were going to learn two spells today, which was exciting. The first one was the Banishing Charm, it seemed to be the opposite from the Accio charm they learned last week. It was a slight relief that they didn't have to be as specific with this spell, and she happily got started. "Accio red cushion!" She shouted, beaming as it came her way. Then she pointed her wand at it. "Depulso!" She cheered as the cushion soared away again. This was so much fun!

After they learned this spell, April was eager to ge to the next one. The Disarming Charm seemed to be a spell useful in duels, and she sort of wanted to try dueling one day. Maybe that's how she could get famous. She watched he demonstration and was eager to get started. She paired up with Therese and a boy she didn't know very well Leif, and they practiced in turns. Therese managed to disarm her and April cheered for her, then she tried herself by pointing her wand at Leif. "Expelliarmus!" She shouted, and the wand shot from his hand. Yay! She jumped up and down, glad it had worked. The three practiced some more, and April was glad to know this spell now too.
