Transfiguration,6,2 "Conjuring is our focus this year. Who can tell me what it means to conjure?" Professor Adelia looked around the room, and called on the first hand that rose. After listening to the answer, she smiled and continued. "You are correct. Excellent." Moving back towards her desk, she picked up a goblet. She tapped her wand three times and spoke the incantation, "Aguamenti". A stream of water flowed out from her wand, and filled her glass. "Today we will be conjuring water. The spell is Aguamenti. Let's say that together please. Aguamenti." She listened to the class repeat the word. "Wonderful. There are a few key things to remember with conjuring. First, you must concentrate. Picture in your mind the object that you are wishing to have. For example, I filled the goblet by picturing it filled with water. This also helps to control the amount of water you get, or amount of any other object for that matter. The more accurate and detailed you picture what you are trying to conjure the better the result. Second, you still need to use the three tap method and speak the incantation carefully. If you say it wrong, you might just have a different result." She smiled at them, hoping the students understood her warning was to be headed, but not to fret about it. Even the best wizard or witch goofed occasionally. "With that, please come an pick out a drinking glass. You can continue to practice as much as you need. I do request that I get to taste your water for grading. Make sure when you are picturing the water in your mind, you also envision the taste and smell. Accuracy and detail are important. I will be here for any questions you may have." With that, she let them get to work, sitting at her desk ready for them to bring her the water to test out. Homework: Simply RP the lesson. Please bring the water up to me to taste and grade. |

The first week had been filled so many dramatics that Victoire was pretty pleased when the second week appeared to her to be something that would be filled with far far less, which she was more than sure that it would be, she had a lot of work to do for the exams that she'd have at the end of the semester and was pretty pleased with how things were happening. She knew that her and Jean would be fine for a little while longer, the little bump which she had caused would be of no greater concern to her for a little while, they just had to play it off well, and have no indication towards his twin brother, or the twin sisters she occasionally saw around the school, though thankfully had never been introduced to. However, given that Victoire had taken a good number of class with her to NEWT level she had a lot more work to do and was faced with a pretty large mound of things to be doing, which included a lot of class so Victoire was straight out the door as soon as she was ready. Since the first lesson, the girl had been learning all the she could about transfiguration spells and very eager sat down in the transfiguration classroom, really ready for this lesson. She kept her blue eyes on the professor's movements at the front and the instant the question was ask raised her hand and was so glad to have been picked, "It means to make something appear," she spoke with her usual confidence before being glad that she was right and then smiling as the lesson continued. She listened to the professor and watching the spell being cast. The teen was looking forward to this and then was even happier when the lesson was just handed over to them for them to be able to do. The Gryffindor prefect picked a glass from the table where they were to select the glasses and then took it back to her table, and then said the word, "Aguamenti," and a jet of water shot from her wand a little powerfully and filled the glass. She raised the glass to her lips and took a small taste of it. The teen then took it to the professor to get graded before being able to leave the classroom. |
