Name: Ivaylo Zhefarovich-Dolohov Year & House: Slytherin Fifth Year Lesson Missed: 1-5 Lesson 1: While something tragic happened to him over the break, so did something amazing. Ivaylo Zhefarovich-Dolohov had a special friend, but his sister went missing. Sort of. The family had Hades looking after her from afar, but even then, Ivaylo could not help but wonder why. The daughter of Thorine that never wanted to be like her mother was turning out to be quite similar. Whereas Ivaylo, on the other hand, was turning out more like his father. Asparuh finally seemed to come around Ivaylo more, and wondered if he was finally the son that Asparuh wanted. Then again, he had an array of brothers and sisters, none of which had the same lineage as he. The protégés were Kalif and Asparuh the Fourth. Everyone knew it. And it burned him inside. Ivaylo shook his head and wondered into the classroom, dismissing his anger in the process. Now was not the time to get irritated Professor Spenser started up the class with a greeting, and then reminded everyone what his name was, in case there were transfers. As if he knew who they were, and if there were any. The subject this semester would be Mythology in magic. He nodded as if he were understanding and willing to deal with this year, but truth be told, he did not care. He was just relieved when the class was dismissed by the professor. Ivaylo got up from his seat and left the classroom. Lesson 2: Things were almost looking up for none other than Ivaylo Zhefarovich-Dolohov. The second week was looking all right, and decent. Ivaylo was spending more time with Charlotte, and he enjoyed her company. However, he had another assignment shoved on him by his father. He had to look after another person that was not in the family just yet, but she would be. She was betrothed to Chaos Zhefarovich. Ivaylo did not think that was the wisest thing on his father’s part, but he could not question him now that he finally got the attention he thought he deserved from his father. He bid Charlotte goodbye as she walked into her classroom, and he headed toward his. He walked Charlotte to class every day. Eventually, he made it to his classroom, and found his usual seat. He knew that soon enough, Lucien would be sitting near him, but not next to. Ivaylo was prepared for the lesson ahead. The day went by fast since Professor Spenser must have been feeling ill or just lazy. He remembered what to look up before he left the classroom, not knowing if he would even do the homework or not. Lesson 3: Classes were the last thing that Ivaylo Zhefarovich-Dolohov wanted to deal with right now, since his temper was short. The third week could sometimes make him a little irritated and disagreeable. And, so far, the people getting in his way as he was on the way toward his class was doing it for him. The only positive thing today was already gone, and that was Charlotte heading into her class after he walked her to it. Normally, she could soothe his anger, but today, after she left, nothing could soothe him. He noticed that Lucien was tagging along next to him, but he was sure that the boy was hoping to get in good favors with the Slytherin. That could be possible. The two were related, and Lucien was his nephew. Sighed, the grumpy Slytherin entered the classroom once more, and settled down within a moment. He was ready for the lesson. Ivaylo gazed up to hear that the fifth years would be diving into the world of Greek Mythology. The subject would be sirens, and how they were the most dangerous and seductive of the Greek mythology creatures. Well, have they not met Veelas? Wait, they might not come from Greece. Ivaylo did not really know. He knew what sirens were, so he did not write down what they did. However, he did take notes over how they were all different depending upon stories. He also did not know that sirens were cannibals and seers. Either way, he figured that this was where Veelas originated from, but not seers. That would be too ridiculous. He made sure that he had everything down before he packed up his things and left upon the dismissal. Lesson 4: The fifth year Slytherin, Ivaylo Zhefarovich-Dolohov, walked through the corridors, coming from the dungeons, toward his next class. He had a lot to do, as he thought during the fourth week. He had some homework to catch up on, but most importantly, he had to balance his time between homework, Charlotte, and keeping an eye on Chaos’ betrothed. He was positive that the latter did not even know that he was doing this. Chaos might not even know the situation, but since the boy was raising hell wherever he went, no one could really tell what was going through that kid’s head. Ivaylo sure could not, and he did not even want to figure it out. Ivaylo entered the classroom and found the seat. He got out the materials needed for the class. He had no doubt in his mind that they would not have a free day. The world was not that generous. He glanced over once someone raised their hand to answer to a question about a Cyclops, a being with just one eye. Anyone would know the answer to that. However, the Slytherin did not know that the Cyclops were the ancestors of the giants. He wondered how they had two eyes instead of just one. They otherwise resembled humans in every other way however. That was something to think about. Ivaylo might research on this eventually, but he did not know if he would even bother, since they are extinct. Professor Spenser went on to talk about the infamous Polyphemus. Ivaylo remembered this name, and that was about all he could remember. Tonight, he would have to research it, and write about it for homework. Ivaylo heard the dismissal, and he backed his things up. With his Slytherin robes swaying behind him, Ivaylo glided from the History of Magic classroom. Lesson 5: Normally, Ivaylo Zhefarovich-Dolohov would have been in a bad mood, but right now, he was in a decent one. Charlotte managed to cure his anger, and also remind him that break was heading their way. That was what he needed to hear. There was a break coming up, and it would help him balance his time. Ivaylo was just thankful that he did not have to worry about who to keep an eye on, and what essays are due. Instead, he could relax. He thought about asking Charlotte to come over to his place for the break, but then he remembered where he lived and quickly decided against it. Instead, he would visit her during the next break. That would be best. He walked into the classroom with that in mind, and settled down. He enjoyed the fact that he was getting closer to the end of the year. That only made him smirk in content. It seemed as though they were not doing anything. He remained in the classroom to go on ahead and study up, before leaving at dismissal. |

Name: Lucien Snow Year & House: Slytherin Fifth Year Lesson Missed: 1-5 Lesson One: Lucien Snow was feeling rather confident about this year. Reasons why he could not explain. He hoped that he would turn out to be a Prefect, over all of his other siblings. He did the most work. He also terrorized others with his friends, but that was besides the point. He was also a pure-blood, and Salazar smiled on that. Wait, a mudblood was once a prefect. Wow, he had nothing going for him right now other than the few classes he did go to. Maybe he needed to hope that, like himself, his siblings were not looking so hot toward their Heads of Houses. Lucien shrugged his shoulders, hoping for that as he entered the classroom and found a seat. He looked ahead with glistening silver eyes. He hoped that the lesson would be short since he really did not want to be here today. He wanted to be in his dorm, asleep. Apparently, the only thing that they had to remember this term was that they were going over Mythology in magic. That sounded exciting, but not really. He did wonder what truths there were, but it would not kill him to not know. He shrugged as the professor dismissed them for the day, not assigning any homework. Sighing in relief, he gathered his things and left the classroom Lesson Two: One would think that Lucien Snow was competing with his siblings, but boy, would they be correct. The second week came through, and Lucien was not about to lose the top marks out of his family. Lucien was driven to keep his siblings under his fingers, but also keeping an eye on them at the same time. He handled his friendships well, and he enjoyed spending time with Avie, which only showed that Lucien did have a soft side to him when it came down to those he was loyal to. He loved the fact that Bothizar, his twisted cousin, was getting to know the boy even more. Professor Styx was someone that no one wanted to mess with, and it seemed that Bothizar inherited that trait. Plus, he was just scary. Lucien knocked this thought out of his head as he entered the classroom. He found his seat and got ready for the lesson. He needed to pay attention. Apparently, today would be short, and he listened for the title to go look up. He gathered his things and left the classroom to go do what the professor said, to a certain extent. Lesson Three: The third week, Lucien Snow actually followed the grumpy Ivaylo to their next class. It was easier since Ivaylo was always in front of him for some odd reason. Lucien wondered what was going on with his uncle, or more specifically, half uncle. Ivaylo was someone that always had a temper, and he did not hold back, even from family. However, a certain little blonde seemed to be able to soothe those filleted nerves. Lucien wondered if he would be able to figure out if he could find himself a pretty blonde to hang on his shoulder. He thought that blondes were especially pretty, not just because he and his siblings were blonde. He loved the fact that he was blonde. He looked damn good! Lucien snickered as he entered the classroom. He found his seat, and got out his things to get ready for the lesson ahead. He knew that this would be a decent lesson. This lesson, they were going over Greek Mythology. Some were excited but he had to fight back a yawn. He was somewhat bored anyway. And they were going to be going over Sirens. Therefore, he took out his parchment, a bottle of ink and a quill. He needed to take notes anyway. He was a little surprised over what they looked like, and how seductive a bunch of birds could be. However, they were companions of the Queen of the Underworld, which made them cooler to him. Their music lured victims which was weird to him. They were also cannibals and seers. Now that made him almost cringe. That was just gross to think about. Seers, well, that was okay, but not cool either. They were free to go as well. Lucien packed his things and he left the classroom, rather satisfied with the lesson anyway. Lesson Four: The fourth week entered into Lucien Snow’s life, which only meant that he would be going back to France soon. Lucien could not wait until he was with his mom again. Nataliia had the best cooking elves in the Snow Manor. He wished that he could spend his time in France more, since he knew that language better than anything. However, he adapted to English well, and he practiced it more than others within his family, he was sure. His friends spoke English. Lucien was also learning Bulgarian so that he could communicate with those in his paternal family. They spoke mostly Bulgarian, and English was not the first language. Not many knew French either. Lucien was in a good mood, as he entered the classroom and found his place once more. He got out the materials needed for the day. He was definitely ready for the lesson ahead. And in his mind, his prayers were answered when they were told that they were not going to be in here for very long. The class was asked what sort of special characteristic they held. He raised his hand and then he was not chosen. Oh well. In his mind, he guessed the answer. It was right. Lucien got it right. He had done some of his reading from it anyway. Cyclops to him were described as giants with just one eye anyway. And this was a really short lesson indeed. They were told what they needed to do, but he doubted that he would even bother writing the essay tonight anyway, maybe tomorrow. Lucien simply gathered his things and he left the classroom to go to the dorm rooms and get some sleep. Lesson Five: Lucien Snow could not be more proud of himself right now. He had a good time on Halloween, mainly because of Avie but he did not dress up this time. But for now, it was the fifth week of lessons. Lucien relished in his accomplishments, but one thing was for certain. He needed to teach Jean that he should not hang out with those of lesser status. Their father was like that, but they had a duty not to go crazy. Maybe that was because Alphonse was controlled by a Veela or something like that, before his mother came along. His mother was far more subtle about her prejudice, despite once marrying a muggle. Lucien shoved that out of his mind since he was coming close to the classroom. He entered it and found his spot. He got out his parchment, ink and quill. No doubt notes would be required today. It was a feeling he had. Turns out, the class would not be doing anything. They just had to study. He gathered his things and went to the library to study. |
