Lesson Four: Professor Effie Kingston sat at her large wooden desk awaiting the third years to arrive. She always got impatient waiting for her students to arrive. Effie was always eager to teach another lesson. It gave her something to do other than grade. When the students began to arrive Effie perked up. When the final student took their seat and the class quieted down, Effie slowly rose and walked out from behind her desk. "Our physical existence is merely a manifestation of our individual soul. The soul has a desire to learn, grow, create, and experience life. It awakens inside a body much like a seed planted in fertile earth. This seed has a natural instinct, dominant characteristics and most importantly, a purpose for existing." Professor Kingston spoke sweetly. She paused for a brief moment to make sure that everyone was able to keep up with what she was saying. She wanted to make sure that everyone was able to have the chance to take some notes if they wanted to. Professor Kingston easily knew that today’s lesson was quite complex and would require great concentration in order for the students to find meaning. Effie llso knew that it was going to cover the very essence of what Arithmancy was about and that he would be emphasizing key points throughout. So it was important for them to pay attention. "Today, we will be taking a close look at this seed and how it grows and matures on its path towards its ultimate purpose. The seed has five distinctive parts that spiral outwards as they grow, but whose greatest desire is to be brought into balance with the others." Professor Kingston paused at this point and leaned against her large desk, carefully surveying the group with her multi-colored eyes, waiting until she was certain that he had their undivided attention before continuing. "It is essential that you become familiar with the Five Core Concepts as these will be the basis of not only your study in this course, but are the foundation of your seed, your soul." With this simple, yet important statement Professor Effie Kingston pointed at the blackboards and the following information revealed itself in neatly but girly written manner. It would often remind one of Effie.
When she was fully confident that the students had completed writing down the Core Concepts, Professor Kingston resumed her teaching with a soft smile. "You are a blending of these vibrations. Sometimes one core part may stand out more than others. Often one part stays in the background as you recognize, express, and experience the other parts. Eventual synchronization and blending of all parts into a balanced, fulfilled, and expressive self is the ultimate experience of this lifetime. For those of you who elect to continue on this journey with me, you will explore each core aspect of yourself fully. You will learn how to calculate each of these five core vibrations and what variables can impact upon them. And in time, your master plan will be revealed. This plan is within your soul and it is up to you to discover its meaning. Today was your first tangible step along the path of understanding." Effie smiled and dismissed the class, making sure to remind that that they needed to look over their notes but there was no homework. Effie returned to her desk and sighed. Now she had no excuse for not grading. I N S T R U C T I O N S: 1) RP the lesson |
