[justify]Professor Kingston was impressed that the students seemed to remember so much from their previous years, the Professors who taught them before she had taken over the, must have been really good teachers to teach them such good study habits. Or the students just had good memories. When all the students were seated she rose from her desk and stood in front of it, the class seemed less tired today than they had last week, hopefully now they were getting into the swing of things. ”I hope you all enjoyed the easy class you had this week, because today things are going to get a little bit harder.” A small smile made it’s way onto her face as she spoke this, it actually wasn’t actually that difficult if you kept an open mind and paid attention to what was being taught.

”When one is in balance, their true nature is exposed and their true potential can be fulfilled. Were going to take that theory a step further and use the words harmonious and discordant to describe the relationship between the main core aspects A harmonious relationship is blending that comes together and appears to flow with grace and ease. A discordant relationship is a blending that seems offbeat or out of balance.“ To Professor Kingston, it was like music, or the sun and moon, they could flow together or not.

”Being in a state of discord or being out of balance if you prefer is not the end of the world though. Everyone has free will, and therefore, some people can take even the most discordant combination and transform it into an opportunity. Effie herself had a few discordant balances herself, but she learned to turn them into opportunities for herself. “Harmonious energies, which should flow with ease, do not always gain the momentum required to allow an intended purpose to be realized. So, in brief, harmonious and discordant situations can be positive as well as negative. Some combinations in which compatibility seems so unlikely to exist, can bring out the best of each number's qualities through a person's consistent learning by trial and error. On the other hand, some combinations which are easy to blend, can create a lack of desire and energy. In these situations the person may become complacent or bored. As a result, they may not live up to the full potential found within their chart.” She hoped she hadn’t completely lost any of her students during this lesson, it was one of the hardest to learn and she fully understood that. "Luckily you guys, no homework for this week." With a small wave she told the class that they were dismissed, she felt and thought they needed a break this week. Why did this lesson still have the power to even jumble her brain at times.

Rhiannon headed to the arithmancy classroom ready for her second arithmancy class of the year. she was looking forward to it like the geek perseas kept saying she was. or rather like the geek she was, but to be honest she didn't care. once she had entered the room she sat down and took out her arithmancy notebook and read through the previous classes notes. soon professor Kingston started to talk and she picked up a quill and got ready to take notes. she was a little confused when the professor said that she hoped that they enjoyed the easy lass of the previous week, sure it wasn't hard, but she still wouldn't class it as easy either. unless the temperature was really getting turned up for OWLs. which may well be the case. she quickly pulled the part of her mind that was away on that tangent of thought back to the class to pay attention as she started jotting away.
to strook her that the content of todays lecture was like the eastern philosophy books she sometimes caught her aunt, or, extremely occasionally, her mum reading. her aunt read them for pleasure, with her mum it usually meant she had tragically lost a patient at work and she was trying to come to terms with it. thoughts of when her mum was reading those books made her feel a little homesick. She missed her mum, and all her family. an unwelcome tear came to her eye and dripped onto the page as she thought maybe she should have returned home for christmas instead of staying at school. she was looking forward to the next break to spend time with her family.
Once the class was over she packed her things up and went to the professor. "thank you for class today professor. It was probably one of my favourite ones yet, I hope that you have a nice week" she said before leaving the room and heading to the garden where she felt at peace and wrote a letter home which she sent later that evening after dinner.
