Lesson Three: [justify] Professor Effie Kingston was busy organizing through her bookshelf. It was an utter mess and she kept promising herself that she would get it taken care of one of these days. It wasn't until months later that she actually went through with it. A thick cloud of dust surrounded the books as she dusted the shelves off. The sound of footsteps signaled Effie to look toward the door. She waved at her students to come inside and sit down while she finished up. When all of the students were seated, Professor Kingston broke away from the shelf and walked toward the center of the classroom, the clicking of her black heels against the floor stone floor signaled the slow steps she took closer and closer to her students. “Last lesson, we introduced and used the Pythagorean Number System to evaluate first names. This week we will be focusing on surnames.” Professor Kingston gave a brief flick of her wand and the number chart reappeared on the left blackboard.
“Once again, I will be using the founder of this school as an example for the calculations required.” The petite professor once again pointed her wand at the blackboard, this time revealing even more information for the class to take in:
“Recall that all two digit numbers with the exception of 11 and 22 are separated into their individual digits and added together as such…”
“Therefore, the name Barker corresponds to the Number 1, which refers to the qualities of Leadership and Personal Resources.” Professor Kingston then pointed at the blackboard on the right, revealing the following information from Numerology and Gramatica:
“Once again, we need to determine whether balance within the vibrations of the number has been achieved or whether there is a problem with the individual being underbalanced or overbalanced. For this week, I would like you to perform the required calculations for your surname using the Pythagorean System. For some of you, it might be appropriate for you to comment on your father or paternal grandfather if the attributes seem in any way connected to these individuals who have likely provided you with your surname.” The professor paused for a moment before addressing the one issue that might arise for the students in this class. It was something she had seen many times so she wanted to address it now. “In the event that both your first name and surname have the same number associated with them, I would ask that you pick another number between 1 and 9 that has some significance for you and comment on whether the attributes associated with that number seem to have some special significance for you.” Chart One Chart Two I N S T R U C T I O N S: 1) Role play the lesson 2) Do the calculations required to determine what number corresponds with your surname and then locate the information that corresponds to your number on page 8 or 9 of the textbook.
