For a moment Willow thought that she should really get something else to do. It was starting to get repetitive really playing everywhere in the castle. Then again music was what she lived for. 'Blood Red Summer' was what was on her lips today. It wasn't anything too heavy but she did put a bit more feeling into the line "So destened to stuble in the dark, such a child at keeping secrets." Willow strummed out the song more than she sang it anyway. She loved the beat that went to it.

"And if the answer that you got isn't the question that you raised." She sang all the while thinking of her own questions. About her own straingth, knowlage, courage. About weather or not she should have been a Slytherin. It seemed very Slytherin that she was here and not where ever spirits went along side her mother. She had been held captive too. How fair was it that she was live while her mother's life had been taken? Willow let the emotion that the questions brought up flow through her fingers in a half angry, half sad beat that she was kind of proud of.

Patricia was surprised that her first week had gone pretty much like a normal week. Nothing out of the ordinary had happened and Patricia couldn’t be any happier. With almost something else happening last semester it was good to have the break from all the drama of a teenager’s life. Patricia knew that the next Quidditch game was coming up this weekend and the Beater couldn’t wait to get back into the swing of things again. With practice most days this week Patricia was making sure that she got all her homework done when it was assigned, after winning their last game against the school champs Patricia didn’t feel like loosing again.

Keeping to her promise of getting all of her work done on time she made her way up to the Student’s lounge where she hoped she’d get some peace and quiet to do her assignments and make her way out to the Quidditch pitch and get used to the weight of the beaters bat once more. Entering the Student’s lounge Patricia could hear singing. Slowly entering, not wanting to disturb the person, Patricia made her way over to an empty table as quietly as possible.

Willow's playing was purly instramental now as her wondering fingers went from 'Blood Red Summer' to 'Welcome Home' without much of a pause. She liked the fast beat to it and it was a bit more her style of anger. She had heard footsteps in the surpisingly empty lounge but she didn't turn. She could tell that it was a female coming in because males usually had a wider stride and a heavier foot fall.

"If you get annoyed by my playing say so and I will quite down." She said though she was still seeming to look down. Her face was covered in shadows from the currten of hair that she was now used to carrying over it. She sort of liked the face that no one could get a good look at her. It mean that if anyone had seen her aunt they would not see a resemblence. Her fingers still plucked at the strings though with the charms that had been placed on it the song sounded more like it was coming out of an amp.

Sitting down at the table Patricia pulled out her books and writing equipment, setting them all out in front of her. Hearing the girl talk Patricia looked up, "Oh it doesn't bug me." She informed the girl. Patricia loved having music play in the background when she was revising, she was very much an 'audio learner' having music in the background when she was studying helped her more than it hindered her. As she opened the first page of her book she stopped and listened to the person continue playing. "What are you playing?" she asked, "It's very nice!" she added with a smile.

Willow could hear the smile in her voice even though she wasn’t turning around. She was much too comfortable sitting sideways on a long couch with her one of her long legs tucked in close to her guitar. “Thanks. It’s called Welcome Home by Coheed and Cambria. The beat is awesome but the words would make some people question the stability of the person singing it.” She said with a slight chuckle in her voice. It didn’t gravel as it used to because she had been talking to more people as of late.

She kept plucking at her guitar even though she was talking to someone. Her fingers sometimes seemed to have a mind of their own which she didn’t really mind. “What ya getting ready to study?” She asked. She had heard the rustle of paper and what she knew to be an ink bottle on a desk. She was sure if she said any of this the girl that was talking to her would think her strange. Then again it was a bit strange that she was Sherlock Homes in a girl’s body.

Patricia thought for a moment as she listened to the girl mention what the song was called and who the singer was. Admittedly she had never heard of either of them, but the few times she was at home she listened to what she knew and what she couldn't listen too when away at Hogwarts. She would pick up a few new songs here and there but it would usually be her favourite artists new songs. People always tried to get her to new types of music but she was hard to get out of her comfort zone and would only diverse for certain songs. Even though Patricia didn't know the song that the girl was playing Patricia still chuckled along with her, not wanting to offend the girl in any way.

Looking back down at her book as the strumming continued in the background, Patricia was soon humming along to the song, it was catchy. "Mmm." Patricia half hummed, half thought about what the girl was asking her. It was always a problem for Patricia, she would sometimes get so caught up in what she was doing at one time that she would sometimes forget, yet she could still continue reading or writing her work without it ever being a problem. Flipping the book back to the cover again she saw the title and immediately the subject came back to her, "History of Magic." she answered. She was so happy to having this back on her timetable, she loved this subject. This year was going to be no exception as they were studying Greek Mythology, one of Patricia's favourite past-times. "Got all your homework done?" she asked, simply trying to make conversation.

Willow sort of knew that the girl had no clue what she was talking about. Very few people did when she stated talking about her favorite band. It was one of the things that she liked about it. Not many people knew of it. Willow was very tempted to sing the words just so the girl would know what she was talking about but thought better of it. Not everyone was like Alex and was into lyrics that expressed anger.

Willow heard her humming though and smiled to herself. Just the instrument version of this was very good. She kept plucking at her guitar really feeling what she was playing right now. "I don't do homework very often." She said simply. Willow had found homework to be a violent waist of her time. Willow even in the deepest of her depressions could find better things to do more often than not. She didn't say all this though. "I do ok without it though. Good enough to consider going to America if I want to do anything in the Ministry." She said. Willow noticed that she didn't know her name. "I'm Willow" She said with a soft smile on the face that she hadn't let anyone see in a while.
