Kaede looked out onto the lake, the suns slow advance dancing across the water, it's reflection catching hues of purples, pinks, blues and golds. It was becoming colder every day, due to winter's fast approach, but Kaede was still taking her morning strolls down to the lake. She had started doing it after she had gone home for summer break. During summer break she had stayed out of the house as much as possible, since her parents were for some odd reason, home a lot when they weren't on business trips. Kaede hadn't really spent much time with her sister's either, they were sort of...displaced. They still hung out with her, but there was a wide gap between them. It was most likely because Kaede had been gone for so long, and they didn't really have anything in common.

Sighing, Kaede looked up at the sky, and watched as the darkness turned to light. As light turns to darkness, darkness turns to light, she thought. Although she knew that farther in life it would get harder, Kaede decided to just enjoy the light as much as she possibly could.

Alexia walked along the lake front. She had a potions book open in her hands revising what she already knew but just remembering it. After about ten minutes of reading she snapped the book shut and jumped when she saw a girl infront of her. She looked out to the lake which was were this girls seemed to be looking. Alex gasped at how pretty it was. She then went and sat next to the girl. "Its so beautiful." Alex couldnt think of anything else to say to the stranger exept the obveous.
